A warm and friendly welcome. Comfortable environment with good levels of noise that encouraged conversation. The food was magnificent; the price was reasonable and gave great value. I highly recommend this establishment.

We have visited The old Mill many times now it’s a must if we are in the area the food is fabulous and has a great atmosphere the staff are very friendly and attentive tonight did not disappoint the chilli and garlic prawn spaghetti was to die for so much so I am contemplating it for lunch tomorrow before we go home guys keep up the good work and see you the next time we are down.

Had a great experience here tonight. A lovely warm welcome from the staff, although very busy, we were given options for dining. Chose to sit outside on the beautiful terrace. We were served super promptly. The food was excellent; Pork belly, fish n chips, burger and steak pie were our choices. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, didn’t have to wait long for your order even though it was very busy. Food was delicious. Would recommend if you are in Pitlochry to go for a meal there.

After just having returned from here, I could not recommend this place enough. The rooms are stunning. Staff so friendly and attentive and the food… just WOW! If there was an option to give this place 10 stars then that's what it would get! We cannot wait to go back.

Ate there last night before a trip to the enchanted forest. Without a doubt the best rib eye steak I have had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Lovely place, we didn’t stay here as in a motorhome but great pub with lots of locals and really friendly.

Only staying the one night but been here since 3ish, room is excellent, been out for a stroll, came back had 2 glasses of St. Mungos lager which was lovely now back in the room, going down for evening meal at 7-30. Staff are helpful and friendly, its just a really nice place.

Had an unexpected visit to Pitlochry after our tour bus was released from winters grip along at loch Tummel. The Old mill Inn was a great find, the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. My good lady and I only stayed for a couple of quality beers but picked up on the fantastic atmosphere and satisfaction of fellow customers. Well worth another visit.

Incredible hotel. Staff are absolutely excellent and so friendly. Extremely clean and a lovely cosy, homely feel about the place. Brilliant for Friday/Saturday nights with the live music. The food is also 5 star!

The place itself is really cozy and inviting, especially the terrace, but we were quite disappointed by the food. All of our plates were very oily, we couldn’t finish them. The haggis starter is great, though. The staff are also very nice.

Dual feelings. Food was very good, the service was very good but something was missing. I had the feeling I was eating in a factory. Everything was as efficient as possible. We had our food within ten minutes. I had the feeling the goal was to get us out as fast as possible. But, food and service were good. However, I had not the feeling I was having dinner at an old Mill Inn.

Staff are so nice! Clean and comfy rooms. The food is quite good. Wonderful location. I would definitely recommend! It sits back off the main road and parking lot is small, but worth it!

In beautiful Pitlochry, where there are a few interesting places for you to be fed and watered, this pub, set back on an alley off the high street, attracts people of all ages. The old stone building, with its water wheel and gardens is a further enticement to go inside or enjoy great food and a wide array of beverages outside. The food, several types of beer from near and far, and a wide variety of other drinks, will ensure there is something to your liking. There is live music some nights as well. Prices are average for the area. The pub is a true culture and social hearth. Enjoy!

What a place! We first had dinner there 7 years ago and loved it. It has only gotten better. The food is traditional with delightful twists and they have kept their famous dishes fresh over time. Be warned, though, it is very popular and can be difficult to get a table for dinner.

The Old Mill Inn is a great restaurant in the middle of Pitlochry. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty — think traditional pub food, but add a hint of fine dining. The steak pie and the grilled salmon were delicious! The restaurant also offers a good selection of local ales and beers, which we also enjoyed. The host of our B&B recommended this restaurant and we had a good time here. The outdoor area is great during the summertime. Be sure to be here on time or to book a table since the restaurant can get pretty full. Unfortunately, food and drink orders must be placed at the bar.

Worth saying that if you plan to have dinner here you should either book or be flexible and ready to wait. Food is good and there lot of choices, including plenty of gluten free options, indeed I think that they should clearly specify this on their website. You can even have the burger GF, even if they use the bread slice instead of the bun. Personally I enjoyed the pork belly and sticky toffee pudding. Nice dining room on the back.

There is breakfast included with my stay. The breakfast is very good, and the room is big and clean.
Parking area is easily accessible even with SUV sized vehicles.
Surrounding the hotel is the main street where you can walk a little bit to experiences the local small town atmosphere.

Lovely setting in the village of Pitlochry. Peaceful outdoor seating, catching the sunshine. Pricy for local ales, although prices do fluctuate in the area. Very good food.

We stop to eat something, and after 10 minutes waiting for us to listen to someone, in a comic situation of people ignoring me (and not by the language, I live in the UK), I get to assault a waiter and tells me, in a rather rude, that the kitchen has already closed as it kept coming out of food to all the tables. It might be that way, but it gave me the feeling that they didn't want to be there.

Just the hammer… great atmosphere, great food and great service! For dinner at the latest 18h15/18h30 come otherwise everything is full. Reservation only possible for guests of the connected hotel.

Marvellous. That's the only word to describe The Old Mill Inn. Great welcome from friendly, efficient and charming receptionist who showed us to our spotless room. Breakfast was all freshly prepared, the buffet of fresh fruit and cereals was superb. Staff once again couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant. Very friendly service. The food is delicious, the fries even made themselves. We all tasted it and we were fed up. The beautiful ambience completes a perfect stay.

Don be put off by the price. This place is well placed in the centre of Pitlochry. As the name suggests it is right on the edge of a mill complete with its own waterwheel. Other than that it is picturesque with helpful smartly dressed staff.

We were passing by and we took a hot chocolate super good but it is a very cozy restaurant, the food we didn't try.

Really lovely, comfortable Inn with very friendly staff. Had a meal there on two evenings — both times absolutely excellent.
We had our dog with us so had to sit in a designated area — had big comfortable armchairs that you sank into. Wonderful. Would recommend 100%

Pretty nice hotel. Nice bar and reasonable dining. Rooms are smallish but very comfortable. Staff are great. Excellent location in town. Look out for the love padlocks in the men’s room! Who knew?

Ist time in here, staff were very efficient and always happy to oblige you in anything you asked of them, must say the food was excellent, and you did not wait long to get your meal, the place was very busy with visitors who were all enjoying themselves the same as us, have recommended this lovely place to all my friends, and will pop in for a meal next time I am Pitlochry, well done to the Chefs and Staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a deluxe room. This room was extremely comfortable had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. A pleasure to chat to. The food was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend a meal here. The drinks were a little pricey but the cocktails were amazing! Real cocktails! We would definitely stay/visit here again very relaxed atmosphere with great entertainment.

Came here for lunch. Very busy but service was quick. Great selections of drinks and toastie was very tasty.

Lovely pub and a great setting for a few drinks. We were even allowed to bring out dogs in, who were given a drink themselves! Highly reccomend!

Super place and enjoy coming in here on our visits throughout the year. Always of a high standard service and food. Well run set up and a good watering whole. Good bonus moving from Manchester to Scotland closer to Pitlochry. Can see why The Old Mill going from strength to strength.

Unfortunately I didn't have much to say having been a quick stop I only had the opportunity to get a beer to drink in the company of friends however the local seemed clean taken care of and had quaint appearance of the Scottish locals.

Highly recommend, food was really good and the service was above and beyond our expectations. They immediately impressed with acomadating our large group including children. When one of our group members only eat a small amount (due to not been very hungry) a staff member came over to make sure it was not down to poor quality of the food. To me this added to the fact that all the staff keep high standards and customer satisfaction. Thank you for a top dining experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Called in for a pint. Good selection of Scottish beers on tap. Warm and friendly. Seems a popular place. May have to revisit for a bite to eat next time we're in the area. Overall a nice place to spend a lazy afternoon.

After a chilly day of traveling, this was a very warm welcome indeed. The ambience was warm and we were seated near the kitchen, which was nicely comfy. Service was quick enough and food tasted nice. Infact it left is so warm that we didn't mind the shower that came as soon as we left! The village was very lovely and we left planning to spend more time out here, the next time we visited.

Enjoyed tasty reasonably priced lunch last month and was there last Saturday to listen to country and western band. Cozy sitting by fire but not enough bar stools. Band started much later than advertised. Great chouse of cocktails.

Popped in here for a bite to eat for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Food was really tasty and nice surroundings. Lucky enough to have nice weather to eat outside. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

The Old Mill Inn is centrally located in Pitlochry, set back from the main street. Access by car is possible, and there is car parking. Reception is in the bar, and the staff are welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. The bedrooms and en suite bathrooms are very high quality, well presented and clean. Only one quibble, they were a little too warm. We could have opened a window but didn't think. The bar and restaurant were very busy but the staff coped very well. We has a quick but enjoyable meal as we were going to the Enchanted Forest. (the bus leaves the main street perhaps 2 minutes walk away) Breakfast was excellent, lovely fresh fruit on the buffet table, and the cooked breakfasts were first rate.

The old mill Inn is a very popular place for tourists in Pitlochry. I went there for lunch and later at night for drink. I was very happy to know that they cater for vegans and vegetarians, and my couscous tagine was very delicious, and a huge portion. The cocktails we order were also very tasty, strong and good looking.

Very friendly and attentive staff, great setting and some fantastic food. We both had the specials and they were fantastic. Good for kids with children's options available.

Modern bar with an inviting terrace and nice open seating area inside. Good range of beer including some local brews. The waterwheel is a bit kitsch but quite pretty on a sunny day. It has the significant advantage of being off the main road which makes sitting outdoors much more pleasant.

Have eaten here a few times and the food has always been excellent. Decent choice of four real ales plus some BrewDog bottles such as Punk IPA, 5am Saint and Elvis Juice. The service is always really efficient and friendly too.

Great food with friendly staff. We were with a baby and everyone was very helpful and understanding. We ended up coming back again the next day for dinner and enjoyed the food in both meals. Leave room for desert, it's worth the calories.

I enjoyed the stsy. But Pitlochry its self is very quiet and all shops were closed. And a lot if shops close ing for good what a shame it used to be a. Great wee town full of life niw resembles a ghost town sorry.

After our first visit we were not quite convinced about this place. It is more of a pub and a bit gloomy and in need of a bit of TLC which hopefully the new owners will give it. Food was good though.
