The hotel itself is in a beautiful location, but not a castle, which is misleading.
They always say that for a good hotel stay you need a comfortable bed, a great shower and good TV, unfortunately during our stay we only ever managed 1 of the 3!
The only way we could achieve the 3 minimal requirements was to down grade our room!
This vacation was marred by poor equipment and lack of refund or compensation.

Very relaxing. Staff very helpful and friendly. It is very quiet could do with a little music in lounge. Spa was amazing.

In lovely settings, suites spacious and tastefully decorated, the hotel is quiet with a lovely ambience, food absolutely delicious, with a good spar definitely would recommend. Also friendly and helpful staff excellent service.

We stayed one night, had the best meal I’ve ever had. The junior suite was perfect very comfy beds. Great staff always had a smile and obviously enjoyed their work. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

A beautiful property with a great kitchen and bar staff. The bartender made an amazing Old Fashioned with peated Glenturret whisky and it was a real hit.
Their sticky toffee pudding was one of the best I’ve had.

Me and my hubby stayed here last night absolutely amazing hotel. Staff very helpful when checking in and the two girls who helped with serving the dinners. Very friendly. The food was delicious. Couldnt fault this hotel.

My sister and I were lucky enough to have a day at knock castle, we had the best day from start to finish, coffee to start in the cosy bar, then off to the pool, steam room sauna and jakuzzi, followed by a hot stones massage … Amazing, then on to a prosseco afternoon tea, which was delisious! Manager and all staff couldint be more helpfull polite and friendly, such a fantastic day, thankyou all so much, we can't wait to go back!

We had a great stay in the hotel. We did not have one of the super duper rooms, we were in the newer part of the hotel. But the room was well appointed, the bed comfortable and the view was lovely. The staff is terrific. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Try the ceviche starter, it is amazing. My only disappointment was the spa services we booked were below par. The attendants did not seem very skilled. And would agree with comments that the work out area and changing area by the pool could be cleaned better.

Nice hotel with friendly staff large pool and functional spa area. Very good restaurant and old-fashioned and tastefully furnished rooms. Those who still have new showers. Everything was right with us and we would go again.

What a stunning place this is the second time I've had the pleasure of staying. The grounds are beautiful well kept? Leisure centre is also stunning I love the pool, surrounded by nature. The staff are so nice always helpful. The food is excellent so tasty. I can't fault anything, we stayed in the lodge wow the view from our room was amazing beautiful, I would highly recommend it. I would also rate this place with 5 stars.

Beautiful hotel in Baronial castle. Interior tasteful, traditional yet comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed in a castle deluxe room with limited view, which was lovely, big and comfortable, with a roll top bath in the bedroom. The grounds were lovely and well kept, and the spa pool etc very relaxing. Although we didn't have a meal in the rooftop restaurant, we enjoyed a great breakfast in there and the views are wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Stayed here last Tuesday courtesy of friends who gave us a voucher for a special birthday. Firstly I have to say a big thank you to Malcolm for sorting everything out for us. Secondly on arriving at the hotel we found we had been upgraded to the Glenalmond Suite which was absolutely fabulous — the huge bed could have slept 4 folk comfortably! The bathroom was pretty amazing too with its sunken bath having spectacular views over the Crieff countryside. This hotel is pure luxury. We also had dinner & breakfast and food was fabulous and it was no problem to cater for someone who is lactose intolerant for which I am greatly appreciative. The staff here are also wonderful — all very polite and helpful. Special thanks also go to David — a nice cheery and helpful member of staff. Jason should be very proud of his staff as they make you feel so welcome without being intrusive. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. Definitely a hotel to visit again.

Very nice, friendly staff very keen to help but need a bit more experience. Lovely and quiet with great views and nice rooms although it could do with a little more improvements. General areas are great with plenty of seats that are nice and comfy with lots of artwork for sale. Wifi is pretty strong approx 4mb through hotel good small gym, guest cinema and spa treatments on offer with small swimming pool. If busy the car park is tight due to size of entrances to property. Overall I would visit again however especially for short break and rooftop restaurant with top award winning chef 2018 giving great food if not quick.

Beautiful castle hotel. Friendly staff, good food so far. And even all kinds of spa treatments available. So far so good. Hope the rest off the stay is just as nice.

I booked this hotel as birthday gift for my daughter checked out the reviews and website it looked to be exactly what we were looking for, we arrived and to be honest were a wee bit underwhelmed on first impressions, we were taken to our room in the annex of the building it was so disappointing the bed looked like someone had been sleeping in it before we arrived crumpled bed covers tiny room gorgeous bathroom but let's face it we would not be spending much time in the bathroom, I was so annoyed I had a vision of a lovely castle room and had been given a very down market budget room, looking round and the place is like two separate hotels. I requested to be moved which was not a problem to the girl at reception who took us to see an alternative room which was what I had been under the impression we would be getting in the first place, we had a lovely stay the hotel was very quiet hardly any guests which was fantastic as we had the pool and spa area to ourselves comfy bed and lovely breakfast.

Just spent another wonderful few nights at this special place. Jason and his team couldn’t be more friendly and catered to our every need. The historic building is beautiful and along with its tranquil setting, allowed us to forget about the outside world. The restaurant with its treetop view of the Perthshire hills is breathtaking and the food menu have something for everyone. The pool and spa just add to the whole experience, would highly recommend.

Lovely place got a gym yay food was exceptional really happy with food take breakfast … och just eat there trust me the other thing I liked was the staff level of service five star they excelled even more in friendly ness and enthusiasm thanks guys.

Great stay, friendly staff clean facilities and lovely warm pool. I think the bar/communal area must have recently been revamped as there has been criticism of the public spaces in past reviews. Nice open fire and a good (and reasonably priced) whisky selection, no better place to loaf with a good book. Despite the fact they don't advertise it they also have a cinema room, a great way to spend an evening.

One of the best hotels we've visited. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The spa and leisure centre are very clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace restaurant has the best views. The food was fantastic, we ordered from the pub menu, there are three menus to choose from. Absolutely spoilt for choice with this little gem. We will be returning.

Stayed here for a night with my partner and pooch and the place was fab, very restful and staff were lovely. Definitely be back.

Stayed over at Knock Castle for my birthday last Saturday. We were given a complimentary upgrade and the room we stayed at in the castle was lovely. We dined in the restaurant the food was fantastic especially the haggis starter and schnitzel. The next day we got breakfast and it was one of the best we have ever had. Full breakfast which was freshly prepared. Overall a 5 Star stay and would highly recommend. Service outstanding through out our stay. Andrew was great. Thanks.

Lovely little castle. Great room and very friendly staff. Very close to the Famous Grouse distillery so would recommend a trip there too.

An excellent stay in an immaculate castle. Very warm in the castle and in the swimming pool. Wonderful pool with jacuzzi sauna and steam room. Excellent meal choice with fabulous view from the rooftop restaurant. Highly recommended.

Came for drinks and tapas and were not disappointed. Beautiful castle, amazing service, and that view from the rooftop terrace! A must stop if visiting Crieff.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Meals are brilliant. Staff are very good no complaints. We dont want to go home.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed today at Knock Castle! firstly had a very good lunch. Then 2 treatments. Hot stones massage was amazing. Full use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna it was excellent. The people couldn't have been nicer. 100% Thank you so much. Will look forward to visiting again soon xx.

We stayed at Knock Castle last Saturday night for our anniversary, our room was beautiful, and the food was amazing, the scallops were to die for and the steaks just melted in your mouth. The staff were all so attentive very polite and couldn't do enough for us. Many thanks to Owner Jason and his staff for helping to make our anniversary so special.

We did not think this hotel should be rated at five star. Far to expensive should be classed as a 3 star small rooms poor quality fittings food was boring service ok but not 5 star would recommend you go else where.

For complete escapism and indulgence Knock Castle is very much the place to head for. If you are longing for a beautiful spa and oasis of tranquility where you can simply switch off and be spoilt rotten in a relaxed, non pretentious manner — you've got it. Stunning views, lovely warm inviting staff who simply can not do enough to please you, a lovely pool area that allows you to meditate on nature whilst luxuriating in the tropical lagoon style pool area and when it comes to dining an amazing in house top chef who can offer you anything from comfort food to fine dining. Totally love this place — a hidden gem xx.
