Food was beautiful service was great, however there was an older couple sitting close by who where in full argument mode having a domestic they were very loud which made me and my new wife feel uncomfortable this was give as a wedding present when I told the girl all she could say was that there regulars, regulars or not it doesn't give them the right to ruin others experiences this did put a dampner on our experience four ladies left before they started their argument leaving just the four of us.

Lovely afternoon tea for 4. Lovely food, lovely staff, excellent service and a beautiful location.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

My husband & I had a meal here as part of our honeymoon.
the staff were lovely, attentive & very welcoming.
At first we didn't realise the hotel was dog friendly, until we walked past a family having their own meal and they had their dog with them. We asked if we could bring ours in, and they usually don't let dogs in the restaurant but they made an exception and set us up in a private little area where we sat with our dog and enjoyed our meal.
The food was fantastic. My husband had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. I had the salmon, and again, cooked to perfection, the sauce was beautiful!
10/10 would recommend and we will be eating here again.

Hamper I ordered for Christmas was amazing quality and value for money.

Christmas Dinner hamper was absolutely amazing. Food was top quality and was great to not spend half the day in the kitchen preparing it all. So much food we had some for boxing day too. Thanks.

Hotel beautiful inside and out, staff very friendly we had a lovely table at the window beautiful views, I have to say Sandwiches and Savouries were so yummy then the cakes came out omg were do you start some of the cakes had to come home with us but overall best Afternoon tea worth the money Thank you so much xx.

Had an amazing meal here for a special birthday. The seafood was some of the best we’ve had (ordered the fruits de mer) staff were superb. Would highly recommend. Nothing was to much trouble. Easily spoke to the chef to arrange menu for severe food allergies. Thank you you made a very special evening amazing.

We ordered a luxury BBQ selection an fresh langoustines for a (socially distanced) gathering yesterday. Everything was fresh and delicious. The meats were perfectly prepared or marinated. Would not hesitate to recommend and would love to use again. Ordering was easy and the communications were excellent. Fantastic to be able to get this quality locally.

Just got our baking box (small) today and very happy with it. Easy to arrange, collect and very quick and staff were so helpful when I got in touch. Much easier than having to hunt ingredients down at this time.

We received one of the hampers last week, can honestly say they are amazing! Quality of the meat, veg and the fruit is excellent. Definitely worth the money and an amazing service as always.

Could not recommend this lovely hotel enough. We were there for Valentines night and had a truly amazing time — in such beautiful surroundings.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially manager Aaron — very considerate to our needs.
Our dinner was absolutely exquisite, as was breakfast in the morning. Thank you very much for having us.

Stayed recently for a wedding — have no complaints at all, great service, especially Cara who was extremely helpful with my children’s requests! lovely food and beautiful hotel would highly recommend.

As always we had another amazing stay celebrating my Mums 60th. The afternoon tea has to be the best I have ever had. The staff are friendly and helpful and always make you feel at home. We had our 9 month baby with us and it was the most relaxing stay we’ve had at a hotel with him. I can’t wait to return!

Had an amazing afternoon tea here today, crispy bacon in turkey sandwich… wow! The savouries and sweets were amazing, thanks so much to the chef!
The staff who served and helped us were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble and the roaring fire was the icing on the cake!

First time out at Loch Ness Country House Hotel and it certainly won’t be the last. Booked the Afternoon Cheese and it did not disappoint, tasty, filling and excellent service. Maybe had a couple of extra drinks.

I have worked with Loch Ness Country House Hotel for many years now, through the wedding industry and I literally cannot sing their praises any higher. The staff are fantastic, the atmosphere is so welcoming, the grounds are stunning and the rooms cosy, nothing is ever a bother for them. We held my mum’s 70th Birthday lunch with LNCHH, a few weeks ago and the food was insane! So tasty, beautifully presented and the service was incredible. A lot of the people that came to the lunch didn’t realise that they could come for lunch or dinner here, as it’s so popular for events and weddings, but it caters for all! You guys are awesome xx thank you xx.

Very attentive staff not too pushy. Food first class. No rush to eat your meal and very atmospheric. Lovely relaxing views into the gardens. Would definitely recommend a visit and a meal as a must.

Absolutely horrendous experience here this afternoon for afternoon tea. The food was clearly not made today, the sandwiches were stale and the cakes were full of curdled cream. Most of it looked off to be honest. When we brought this to the attention of our waitress she had a severe attitude problem. She was extremely rude to my sister and myself. I’m heavily pregnant so I don’t fancy eating salmon that looked like it was caught during the Stone Age. Table cloths were filthy and so was a lot of the cutlery and cups. She begrudgingly ‘arranged’ new cakes which took over 20 minutes, then when we asked for the bill she demanded to know if we wanted the cakes or not. I’m 24 not 4 years old and I will not be spoken to like a child. We tried to speak to the general manager but ended up leaving as we were so angry at the service we’d received from the woman. Poor food, poor service and I will definitely not be considering this place as venue for my wedding. Such a shame for this place to be let down by one person’s ridiculous attitude. 0/10.

Our daughter was married here recently and we couldn’t fault anything the whole day was perfect fro start to finish. Leanne and the whole team were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, the meal was amazing. Would highly recommend.

It couldn’t have been better. … Lianne the event planner at Loch Ness Country House Hotel is simply the best at what she does. A true professional, Lianne knows her stuff. We chose Loch Ness because when we visited other hotels looking for a venue Lianne stood out from the rest. Lianne from the moment we booked our wedding went out of her way at every given opportunity. Lianne is undeniably talented at her job, nothing is ever a problem for her demanding customers like Steve and I. Full of ideas and suggestions it almost felt as we had nothing to do throughout the process. Our wedding day was perfect. Everything ran to plan because of the Loch Ness team. A special mention to Chris who also went above and beyond and the team on the day were attentive, caring and on the ball. Our day was made easy because they simply understood what we wanted. They listened to us from the word go and because of their experience added value at every opportunity. The food was outstanding. The chef deserves his 2 Rosettes. The presentation was amazing. Lianne is a lovely girl who is in the right job. But more than that she cares about her clients and that’s evident in everything that she does. This was proven when Lianne walked our dog down the aisle to ensure he got to us safely.

It's a nice hotel but it's poorly looked after in both the hotel and the cottage the fixtures and doors are little falling, the English style in the bathrooms you just don't see… so I'm not in tune with other reviews… also very high price for the quality they have.

Lovely relaxing two night stay. Nice room with all facilities om hand Breakfast was excellant and staff very friendly. Would visit again.

A very posh location oozing with character and class in everything from the hotel grounds to the stunning views of Inverness seen from the balcony. Food was full of flavour made with high quality ingredient. Menu was well thought out for the function I attended. One star down as the head waitress had not studied the menu prior to the event, and on at least two occasions had to go ask the chef what something was. Whole event worked out at under £30 per head.

Lovely hotel. Didn't stay but the grounds are stunning and the place itself is really nice with a great venue for events such as weddings. Staff are fantastic here also.

We had our wedding here on 20 June and it was absolutely perfect. Lianne (the wedding coordinator) was incredible, so helpful and friendly. All the staff were so nice. The guests attending the wedding commented on how great the staff and surroundings of the hotel were. It was beautiful, thank you!

Just visited the Loch Ness Country House Hotel for ‘afternoon cheese’ absolutely fab, not just a cheese selection, a three course meal!
First course:
A glass of fizz or a soft drink with a large selection of cheese, oatcakes, cheese biscuits, chutney and grapes Second course:
Cheese & Chive homemade scones with cream cheese Third Course : Strawberry Cheesecake with a choice of hot drinks Fantastic food, Thank you.

Highly recommend this hotel for a stay and for dinner. I've stayed and eaten here a few times now and each time is just as wonderful as the last. Food is delicious and creative, very flavoursome and satisfying. Rooms are absolutely beautifully luxurious, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings and very helpful and professional members of staff. What an absolute pleasure to stay and dine here.

A group of us were there on Saturday for a hen doo. We were there all afternoon for a prosecco tipsy tea party and I cannot praise the staff, chef and venue enough! From start to finish everyone was amazing! The chefs catered t everyone’s dietary needs, the vegan options were the best I have ever had. The chefs had gone above and beyond with the attention to detail!
The girls and I had a great day and I cannot thank everyone at Loch Ness enough! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone.

Ahhhhh in the time-honoured Salon Scone's and Clotted Cream plus a bag of tea or coffee … crackling log fire … plaid ear chair … was cosy!

I was here today with some friends for afternoon tea and it was the launch of their new Afternoon Tea menu. I’m gluten intolerant, which can be a bit bland & uninspiring but not here it’s the best Gluten Free Afternoon tea, I’ve ever had. The quality & variety was outstanding. My friends had the “normal” selection, it was amazing too. There was too many highlights to mention them all, just do yourself a favour & go, you won’t be disappointed, we certainly weren’t.

I haven't even stayed at this hotel yet but I have a booking for this weekend have tried calling several times this week. Tonight I have rang 7 times and my partner once and no reply. Hope the customer service is better in person.

We had a last minute flight snafu and ended up landing in Inverness late at night. We booked a last minute room at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel and it ended being the perfect place to kick-off our honeymoon in Scotland. Chris Glass, the deputy GM, was an excellent host and made our feel at home after a weary journey. We had a complementary room upgrade to the absolutely beautiful Avon room. It had a generous view and ample space. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty — we did get it in our room but it was far better in the drawing room. The breakfast, which was included with our stay, was a wonderful way to start the next morning. Plenty of great options on the menu — we opted fro the Scottish breakfast and oatmeal. We didn't get enough time to walk the grounds, but we hope to visit sometime in the feature and make good use of the beautiful landscape. It was a bit of a hike from the airport (we took a taxi), so if staying close to the town proper is important to you might might want to reconsider. I recommend this country retreat to anyone finding themselves in Inverness for a short stay.

A very nice hotel, a big room we had, a big bathroom was there. Breakfast is delicious, very nicely done. The staff is also very friendly. Still, you could renovate the rooms. That would be necessary.

From the moment we arrived everything about this hotel was just spot on. The room was huge with great views of the grounds. We sat and had a drink in front of the roaring fire before enjoying a top notch 6 course Christmas themed dinner. Every course was spot on and the mulled wine sorbet was a great touch.

Had a lovely, well presented and delicious lunch here today. The staff were friendly and I even left with the chef's recipe for the blade of beef main course. Thoroughly recommend it for a different (and better) Christmas food experience. The photo is of my meaty lamb shoulder starter.

Attended a wedding reception here and was my first visit to the hotel. The decor in the function room is very nice and modern. The bar is quite small for the number of guests the room holds however the staff were friendly and efficient. The only criticism would be the entrance roadway, it really does need some remedial work.

We were here for our friends wedding. It was a great day and the staff were lovely. Rooms looked excellent as well although we only saw then and didn't actually stay. Overall a great place for a wedding!

A really great experience at a country house. Rooms a huge! With authentic decor, but all modern amenities as well. Bar has an excellent selection. 3 course dinner is great, the breakfast refreshing. There are large, well maintained open grounds around the house. Kid-friendly as well… Kudos for the excellent service.

Excellent location, cottage was smaller than expected and also didn't have Wi-Fi. Shower had very little pressure which was a shame. The food in the restaurant was very good. And the staff was friendly.

The place has good reviews, however… look closely. Service was great, especially from Chris from Reception / Bar. Bit funny with room keys :) The problem was the room, paid £160 as overbooking from different place and expected more from Junior Suite, room called OSS. Again, it looks nice from outside, from inside typical old Victoria room. Old, really desperate of refurbishment. I'm sorry to say it this way, but c'mon guys, invest in rooms more. I cound go on & on. To their credit, staff is amazing.

Stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Booked the junior suite and wow. Loved the view of the garden. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good. Dinner menu was expensive though and fancy. Best go into town if you want more variety. Good service though and fantastic as it was just outside Inverness so no noise but easy to get into town. We walked and it was nice.

Location was great, situated inside vast gardens. Rooms are large and clean with great views. Service was friendly and the food was fantastic even although the choice was severely limited.

I really liked staying here, spacious room free upgrade (I think I went at quite time in 2015). Lovely food — enjoyed breakfast and lobster as well. Staff extremely helpful and seemed genuine. Would go back.

We stayed for 2 nights and we couldnt have asked for more friendlier staff the room was huge clean and comfortable the setting was peaceful the food was out of this world, steak tongue and cheek sounds interesting well its to die for, I think the chefs should be highly honered and the same for all the staff nothing was to much to ask for in this hotel would I stay again yes thanks for a lovelly weekend tony and chris.
