WARNING Awful service. Fiona was nasty to me and ignorant of my dietary needs. After booking a room, I realised they didn't offer a cooked breakfast; only continental. After calling to see if they would make an exception, Fiona said it was my own fault for booking without reading the breakfast status on the website. To be honest, I hadn't seen this. I made an assumption that they'd offer a cooked breakfast like every other hotel and guest house. When I called to see if we could work something out, there was no answer. Then a text conversation started. I tried to see if there is any other solution. Fiona's reply was that she hasn't heard of my dietary requirements and therefore invalid and they wouldn't accommodate me. Her replies were threatening and bullying. She said she'd keep a £20 admin fee for loss of custom. I had only booked the room for 2 hours before realising about the status and cancelling. It was an awful experience. I would not recommend staying here. She's very rude and discourteous. If there's any misunderstand she'll take your money and tell you it's your fault.
Another amazing stay with John and Fiona at their gorgeous B&B. So peaceful, well appointed, clean rooms, good amenities and both are so helpful. Can’t wait to come back again! Thank you.

My wife and I visited Loch Ness and were astonished by the accommodations at Balachladaich B&B. It is right on the Loch, close enough to see Nessie swimming around. My wife called it adorable. I was fascinated to watch the colorful local birds at the feeder outside during breakfast. The owners are amazing and can fill you in on what to do locally outside normal tourist activities. A great stay and a great place to stay!
