Had a gorgeous meal last night. Large portions. Friendly staff. Definitely be back.

Myself and my husband had a wonderful meal here the food was amazing! The setting was lovely and the atmosphere in the restaurant very calm and tranquil. We can’t wait to return. Thank you.

We were a large party of 16 and a little apprehensive about going away during these uncertain times, we found our worries were unfounded. From the emails, back and forward, nothing was ever a problem, to the warmest of welcomes, to the most amazing and well presented food, also the staff at every stage, were pleasant, friendly and extremely efficient, bedrooms were perfect, views amazing. This hotel excelled at every stage. I 100% recommend this hotel.

The whole experience from checking in early, being shown to our room by the manager, the excellent service and food in the restaurant both for dinner and also breakfast. Quite unsurpassed for a small family run hotel.

Our third stay at this lovely family hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms and lovely public areas. The staff are all so helpful and the food is delicious 😋. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We had a lovely view from our balcony and the hotel is ideally situated to explore the East Neuk of Fife, one of my favourite places. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Hotel rescued our fated picnic plans today and provided a fabulous alternative meeting place since we currently can't catch up with friends in either of our own homes. Superb cuisine, panoramic Forth Estuary views and attentive staff… top marks xx.

We have been coming to the old manor for sometime and the service and quality is always exceptional. We have just been for dinner after the covid lockdown and all safety measures where in place and the staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome and safe.

Recommended by a colleague, this hotel did not disappoint, rooms lovely and the food just delicious, I'll be back.

We have had an amazing food at the The Old Manor Hotel soup was delicious! melon and sorbet a taste sensation in your mouth! Braised beef that was so tender! mash potatoes so creamy and lovely! my corn fed chicken was tasty and l devoured the lot! Derek loved his apple pie with apple crisp! and my sticky toffee pudding best l have ever tasted!

Had work lunch here today for Xmas and I am gluten and dairy intolerant, so was so surprised that this wonderful place offered me a choice of meals and the food I received was fantastic! Thank you so much for making it such a lovely meal and for accommodating the gluten free element! ❤️

We booked our staff Christmas Dinner at the old manor hotel on Saturday 7th Dec. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Food was amazing, staff were very attentive, nothing was too much even mixing up cocktails that were not available on their menu whilst being short staffed and very busy with party nights on. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We needed somewhere not too far from home to recharge our batteries after having our energetic grandson for a week, & we couldnt have chosen better. Very friendly staff from us checking in to leaving every thing was just perfect. The waitress Jackie & her barman husband were really friendly, cant wait to come again.

I was here today for wedding fayre, very nice, was taken around to see the lovely spacious rooms and food that was being prepared smelt amazing, brill place would deffo recommend to others.

It is extremely welcoming and as a single, disabled traveller nothing is too much trouble. I always find it has that special personal touch, lovely food and all the staff make my frequent stays so relaxing.

Dropped in here last week with husband and daughter. Hungry before journey home from secret bunker. Friendliest staff ever. Was accommodated with a lovely table with a beautiful view. Food was delicious. Daughter wanted to stay the night. Will be back some time definitely. Thank you.

Excellent carvery, good portion, nice environment and attentive staff.

Food was nice but not a good choice on the carvery, it was cold and a beard hair was on the plate very disappointed.

A nice place with good food, the staff are very friendly helpful and always professional. Although we never stayed overnight from the look of the reception lounge and bar area it is a well looked after hotel. The restaurant has fabulous views whilst you enjoy a well cooked and presented meal, however, although it is clean and tidy the restaurant lacks atmosphere, some plants and pictures under the redundant picture lights would help. This place would be ideal for food sampling and drink tasting events such as whiskey talks etc. It also boasts fine facilities for weddings and other events.

Great service from waiting and events staff, really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not great, and the boss (think she might have been the owner but not 100% sure) came across as quite unprofessional. Lovely setting and pretty garden but feel the place is lacking a little, some minor changes to the decor and garden/carpark would go a long way.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The rooms are comfortable and cozy and the views are excellent. Food was great as well. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Excellent meal and service was first class. Felt the resturant could do with some indoor planting groups to give it more ambiance though, it was too minamalistic for my taste. The staff were all very polite and gave first class service. The chiefs here obviously know their stuff I couldn't fault the food.

Went in for lunch as they had a special lunch menu. There was a good variety on the menu. Something to suit everyone. We had fish and chips which was lovely but portion size on the meal deal was quite small but adequate for lunchtime if you have your main meal in the evening. The dining area in the conservatory had amazing views over the water. Will definitely go back again.

We arrived early about 35 minutes before Sunday lunch started. Happy to sit and have a drink in lounge. However when customers who had booked started to arrive we were ignored! We had to mention we were still waiting. The Head Waiter eventually came however his attitude was very poor he basically accused us of being there too early and asked if we wanted a table. He had already been told by the receptionist we were waiting. Needless to say we left at that point. Shame as sure food is good but experience is not just about food customer service makes or breaks your business. Doubt we will be back in a hurry.

Had our church ladies away day at the hotel today. Absolutely superb service, beautiful surroundings and amazing food. Such good value for money! We will definitely be going back. Thank you for making a special day even more special!

Out for a drive and found this hidden gem food and service is 5 star would highly recommend. We will be back.

Good size room with 2 double beds, overlooking the Forth. Clean. Friendly staff. Lunch quite good. Nice but expensive wine as most hotels are.

Good service and nice setting, limited options if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Second visit to this hotel and every bit as enjoyable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious especially fish and steak pie. Deserts a bit overpriced especially Eton mess which was very disappointing. View from room lovely and beds very comfortable. A lovely two night break. Weather was beautiful which was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

Hubby and I just had a nice lunch. Food was lovely but service appalling. Staff attended to an other larger group of clients and left us sitting waiting for our 2nd course. No explanation and no apology. Hubby had to chase up our second course. Had someone explained that the group they were serving were on a tight schedule, we would have understood but to simply walk by us as if we didn't exist is not good business. Needless to say, we will not be back!

Enjoyed a meal with the family for our sisters 60th very reasonably priced and really nice food, will return again.

Came for lunch. Reasonably priced. Lovely surroudings. Food very good. Staff attentive. Will be back. 1 Star off as the first waitress put a bottle of beer in a pint tumbler and it looked like what someone had left over! Salmon main course was delicious.

Was at Old Manor for Burns Night on 23 January with Polish delegates, excellent event, food and service was first class.

Just back from our Christmas party night. Great food, great party and all staff very welcoming. A great local venue, highly recommend a visit. Was at Airth Castle party night last night, and the Old Manor was so much better. Thankyou to all, we have had a great night! St Andrews Community Midwives.

Really nice hotel, well decorated. We went for the high tea for a family birthday. I had the fish and chips, which was disappointing. I'll never understand how professional chefs cannot cook fish with crispy batter and how they end up with soggy chips?

Went to St Andrews for the day and coming home we went into the Old manor for tea I would certainly highly recommend as the food the service and the ambience of the place were excellent. I will b recommending to friends and family.

Pleasant staff in the only decent hotel in the village. Little competition. Has the air of a company hotel.

Wonderful location as you can see. Staff are sensational and nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Great food and you have to try the haggis. A great place to stay where you are made to feel special.

We went for a high tea and it was excellent. The staff were wonderful and the scenery was beautiful.

Had a great time at hotel last week. Hotel, food and all staff from manager down absolutely first class. No hesitation letting others know about it and will definitely be again when. Back up in the area.

Not too bad. Rooms need to be freshened up (the bathroom was not up to the rest of the hotel) but the views from the lounge are worth a stay. If you don't plan to eat at the hotel, the surroundings don't offer too much choice of restaurants.

Best meal in a long time.
