Cannot find any fault with Keavil House. Staff are lovely, polite and courteous from management down to housekeeping staff. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed we've slept in and the bedroom and bathroom spotless. Evening meal and breakfast was superb with a good choice on both menus. Had to call the duty manager at 1:00am due to being woken by party going on in next room — issue dealt with very quickly. Can't wait to go back.

Extremely friendly staff (but not in a weird way) the rooms are clean and very well heated. They offer a fan if you're too hot. The food was fairly good, the bar food surpassed the restaurant. The only downside is I didn't receive any towels besides the one I used on my first night and no housekeeping came to my room.

Staff are excellent and did everything they could to help us enjoy a family meal. The venue is a characterful Georgian house adapted to chain-hotel standards. Food is fairly mundane but fine for family feeding. Public park located nearby so kids can burn off excess energy.

Lovely spa facilities, beautiful setting. Excellent lunch and great prices We had a voucher deal for 2 course lunch and use of the leisure facilities. Pool area was clean and nicely set out, good steam and sauna. Changing rooms in good condition. Lunch was in the conservatory or small room behind the buffet, we went for the quieter room. Excellent service, great selection of high quality food and good prices too. Will definitely be back.

Visited for lunch once again. Restaurant has had a major renovation and I was most impressed with the new dining area. An excellent menu with seperate lunch menu at very reasonable price. Quality of food and service is excellent, look forward to another visit soon.

Warm welcoming Hotel room equipped with all you need and more… leisure club and beauty treatments on offer … very low cost for treatments … Swimming/sauna and steam room free to residents. Clean fresh smelling hotel. Awesome menu to chose from, served by polite friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced excellent selection of drinks. Well worth a visit … I will be back!

Nice hotel! Great staff very attentive, only 2 small negatives!. Scones aren't nice! Taste under cooked (very doughy! ) And we found a pile of hair in the bath plug hole!. Lovely surrounding grounds.

Sorry. Mothers day lunch not a great experience. Maybe just too many bookings taken. Service very slow and food not great. 50% of mussels were closed and the rest not fully open which was worrying so most left. Lamb and vegetables overcooked and tagliatelle incredibly sweet. Not sure we would want to repeat this which is a pity as we were married there and it's very handy for mum.

Thoroughly enjoyable day. Lunch was amazing! We felt very welcomed by the Restaurant staff (v professional) and the Leisure Pool folk were lovely too. Thank you! Shelley & Sharon.

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. The new lounge area has been opened up further for more tables and it looks great. Excellent staff, very friendly. Have stayed here before and will continue to any time I'm working in or around Edinburgh. Yeah it's a bit of a bad drive out of the city to here, people still don't seem to grasp the new bridge is 70mph. Worth the drive though.

Room was fantastic. Receptionist was lovely and welcoming, bar staff were polite and helpful. Restaurant staff were rather slow and not very attentive. Very young in age, and would suggest experience! Overall an enjoyable staff.

Audrey at reception made us feel extremely welcome — restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner! Lovely experience for a late Christmas present.

Room was a little tired looking. Breakfast was ok and plentiful. Leisure club is a real bonus.

I've stayed here a few times over the years and had a great experience each time. It's well looked after, recently renovated too. The staff are friendly and care about providing a top service.

Stayed in 2 different rooms. The Executive double was big and modern, but would prefer a shower rather than a shower/bath combo. The Classic Double room is an older style room with a lovely, modern shower ensuite. Dinner was lovely and breakfast had everything I could want and was good too.

First class hotel with gym/keep fit facilities. Sauna and pool. Food/Menu very good quality. Popular venue for wedding functions and similar.

Only stayed here briefly whilst attending a wedding in another hotel. Room 15 shower could have better water pressure and bed was a bit hard. Otherwise very clean and in good repair.

Lovely quiet hotel, great service, Good spacious rooms and great food. Good leisure club which should keep even the hardcore fitness enthusiasts ticking over. Broadband is of a high quality, Good enough to stream.

Staff here work hard to make you feel very welcome. Food is great as is decor & fitness centre. Hidden amongst housing but a delight to stay there.

Stayed here for a night. Great location, amazing room, they also have a spa and indoor swimming pool. They have a 24/7 open bar as well. Would highly recommend!

High standard of service, room and food in restaurant. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Great leisure facilities on site with both pool and gym. Helpful staff that really look after you and make you feel welcome. Myself and my team always try to stay here if possible but as it is so popular it pays to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Ok Standard, good food and pleasant staff. Extremely poor internet connection both in speed and availability. You cannot rely on checking/sending emails from this hotel.
