Quirky country house, with lovely food!

I do not hesitate recommending, during these difficult times Celia was the perfect host.

The self catering cottage is lovely!

Excellent wedding venue, beautiful grounds, delightful rooms, attentive staff and amazing food.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Spacious room with 4 poster bed and separate lounge with sofa. Rather small and cramped bathroom, with toilet that took 10 mins to refill after flush. Commendable breakfasts cooked to order with fresh home made bread each day. Tasty compote and other fruit also available. Honesty bar in snooker room was week stocked. Lovely covered courtyard with fountain. Plenty of space for kids to play outdoors. Easy parking. Perfect rural location but close to attractions such as Threave Gardens.

Very beautiful working farm lovley atmosphere and glorious food. 5* all-round.

Very good with its own style and lots of interesting and amusing fellow guest, that is why we keep coming back, oh and superb cooking.

The trueloves played @ Mr & Mrs Colema's Wedding last night, the staff were the best we ever experienced, very friendly and professional, the atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming, the acoustics for a live band are great and we had the most amazing wedding party! Outstanding, cant wait to play there again. The Trueloves Wedding Band.

A super welcome, the owner is very friendly and share good times. They are very caring about the quality of the products and are very concerned about the Brexit, as it is going to cause changes in agriculture in Scotland (Welcome the growth hormones in american, youhou! ) ; I highly recommend and you will be well received.

Our tour group stayed here for one night, we had a delicious dinner the night we arrived, food was great, service excellent. The room was large and confortable. Breafast was very tasty, and a large variety of food available. Hosts where very friendly.

Lovely venue for a great "special" meal. Highly recommended.

Celebrated the wedding of my lovely brother John Paul McLuskie and his beautiful wife Rachael McLuskie at Craigadam yesterday, the whole day was amazing from start to finish. The staff were amazing, from serving canopies to the delicious evening meal.
I couldn't recommend a better place to celebrate a wedding. Well done all the Craigadam team, Richard and Celia Pickup, Nicola Bowers, Katie Copley-unthank, Barbara Forster, Emma Grimshaw.

Was a little confused initially where to enter /check in but as the stay was a gift from a dear friend this information may have been imparted to them. The room was amazing with a beautiful view into a stunning courtyard and all amenities (and more) were provided. The breakfast served around one large table with other guests was a little different to the usual but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Wish we had have had time to stay longer.

Beautiful room in a quiet rural setting. Lovely greeting from Monty the Labrador! Breakfast was excellent, can't comment on dinner as we ate out with friends. Very relaxed informal setting.

Fantastic place in a wonderful location and with very friendly owners.

Had a very good time. The room was very spacious and decorated in a burlesque style. Loved the huge dining table around which all the guests gathered in the morning. Very friendly staff, beatifully manicured gardens and more than amply filling breakfast freshly made in the farm kitchen.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in August 2010 whilst working in the area. Celia and her staff looked after myself and my wife very well. We needed to be out of the hotel, each day before the usual breakfast times — but found a continental breakfast laid out for us each morning. Dinner in the evening was a set 3 course meal, made freshly each day by Celia — and was fabulous. 11 rooms to choose from, each individualy styled — all clean and maintained to an excellent standard. A good base to explore the breathtaking area of Dumfries and Galloway. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Dumfries.

My wife booked a short (romantic) break at Craigadam and it was so good I felt I had to go online and give it a review. I'm still not sure if Craigadam is a hotel or a guesthouse or just a great bed and breakfast, whatever it is its wonderful. The rooms are lovely the staff are really nice and the location close to Dumfries in south Scotland is great. Brill!

An excellent hotel in a beautiful setting. The highest level of service offered by all staff. Made to feel very welcome. Room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The food and dining service second to none. Best cheese board imaginable. Really cound not fault. I aspire to return some day. Wonderful experience. One of the best Hotels in Dumfries and Galloway and one of the best Hotel experiences in scotland.
