My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay at Broomhall castle. Iain, Shirleyann and the rest of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and well presented. A great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

We had the most enjoyable stay in Broomhall castle, staff is super friendly and very helpful. We booked our stay in their four poster bedroom for two nights, as part of our Honeymoon tour around Scotland ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The food was unbelievable and the Venison dish we got for our dinner was to die for! Since pandemic this place went over major changes. Food is excellent, staff knowledgeable and friendly, rooms are massive and well maintained! I would recommend the Broomhall Castle mainly to couples and families that are after a quiet retreat and love great food. The castle has been getting more popular with the local community. If you're after a pint and wee snack surely won't be disappointed. table bookings are necessary due to covid.

Great place to stay. Lovely area near a lot of things. Great room comfy bed. Very warm and cosy. Only thing I wish the TV was bigger. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The surroundings of Broomhall Castle are beautiful, very friendly and welcoming staff and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room is amazing :). The menu and choice was very good and the food was excellent. We will definitely be coming back.

The staff are amazing and omg the food is to die for lovely place to visit.

Myself and my wife had been really excited about this stay, unfortunately it didn't take long for that feeling to go. The noise from the room above was defining, constant banging. Was giving a free drink by manager as apology but when it got to 10pm and was still going on we were ready for leaving, manager spoke to room above for 2nd time. Room was nice, food was good, maybe if we had been in different room we would of enjoyed it more.

Fantastic rooms, brilliant staff, wonderful food, great location… I cannot think of enough positive adjectives for this place! Come and see for yourselves.

Had a lovely stay here, Ty, Iain, Teddy and the rest of the staff were lovely. If your looking for a laid back quirky face to stay then we highly recommend it. The room was huge and bed too. Lovely clean bed linen. Would recommend the orkney beef burgers too!

Absolutely beautiful place, myself and my cousin booked last min (the day before) and were blown away not only by how amazing the castle and grounds were but the staff were another level so friendly and attentive nothing was a problem! The food was fantastic we did dinner and breakfast! We didn’t want to leave next time we’re staying longer absolutely amazing place!

Food is reasonable and very tasty. Looks a lovely place for weddings too. Very helpful staff and friendly.

Stunning. Room. Bed was comfy and the bath was huge. The restaurant was amazing and dinner was unreal! breakfast was lovely and very reasonable for drinks in the bar and dinner. Recommend the honeysuckle cocktail! but most of all the staff were fantastic couldnt do enough for us. Rachel and Ian were so warm and friendly.

Lovely Early Victorisn style castle… rooms very comfortable and food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and efficient especially Ian who was very helpful and had good knowledge of the castle and the surroding area. Thank you we had a wonderful time.

We had our wedding day here on the 12th April and WOW what a day it was. Venue is fantastic, the food amazing and the staff went above and beyond not only on the day but on the run up to the wedding also. We cant wait to come back for our anniversary (may even celebrate our 6months just for an excuse to come back sooner) … Lots of love, Mr and Mrs Bowman

I only stayed one night but it was great. Dinner and breakfast were both good. We spent after dinner in the pub which is also really nice.

We spent 5 days here visiting our son. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is exceptionally good.

Very nice the outside but the interior absolutely not cared for even unkempt. Low breakfast, unprofessional service. Too bad because the site has great potential.

The rooms are in my opinion adequately furnished for a 3-star hotel, but some of the furniture is very outdated. I think that the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. In the room there are dead or living insects (see photo (you have to zoom in to see it), and there are also some cobwebs on our bathroom window, which could not be opened (we certainly couldn't). Furthermore, I discovered some black spots over the shower, I think it is mold (see photo). In the room there are also open the cables of the TV (photo).

In my opinion, the breakfast buffet is very, if not too small. There is relatively little choice, and I also find that the breakfast room is very loveless.

All in all, we will no longer be here because I think it was too unclean.

This older property is designed to look like a castle although not really of a Scottish style. The rooms were large and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Don't go because it's a "Scottish castle". Go because it's a comfortable hotel with great people.

Unique and beautiful hotel just on the outskirts of Stirling. Food was absolutely excellent as well.

Have spontaneously extended it by one night. Stay at the castle, with a huge room, bathtub on lion's feet and super comfortable bed. Nice staff and great food. And all in a relaxed atmosphere. Top! :)

Went in to enquire about wedding packages. The location was lovely, but the interior felt a little tacky.

From the outside top, but the rooms?
No waste bin in the bathroom, no visible sockets in the room, no Welan reception (at the bottom of the hotel) the cleanliness was also not so great.
Breakfast was delicious and the staff very nice.
Unfortunately, I didn't feel so comfortable.

Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to experience the stay here as due to the snow and horrendous driving we had to cancel. We contacted the Hotel and asked if we could reschedule for the following week as it is my 60th birthday however they refused and would not offer a refund or reschedule. Shocking customer services. Booking. Com were willing to deal with it but Hotel said no to helping us to arrange another date. I had to rate the review with 1 star as it wouldn't let me leave a comment otherwise it would have had nothing. Really disappointed.

Great room could get lost due to the size. Views from room amazing. Staff are great and very helpful nothing is to much for them to do.

Fantastic venue for an event. Very attentive staff, good food and great atmosphere. Bedrooms are massive and full of character. The SLROC will be back.

Food was good but otherwise lacking. No reception area or cloakroom. Toilets impossible to find as no signs. Only one barman, so always queues. Had to vacate function room twice during the evening because tables weren't moved the first time.

Another fab stay at broomhall. Room amazing, the biggest bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast cracking too. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will be staying here again soon.

Been here twice. Once to get engaged, once for our marriage and reception. Can't fault Broomhall at all. It's quirky styling just adds to the character of what is a lovely building and setting. The staff could not have done more for us if they tried. We've never been made to feel more welcome before or since. Food was top-notch, bar was great fun and the whole family were very much made to feel at home. It'll always be a special place for us and we can't wait to go back.

Fed up of chain hotels? I think this hotel is good. Good food and beer. Room fine. Don't expect a 100 room hotel with loads of staff though. Good stonework!

Stayed here for five days, they are friendly and welcoming with a terrific breakfast. It is 40 mins from park and rides and 60 from Edinburgh or Glasgow by car but sterling is close by. Highly recommended.

Amazing venue, looking forward to getting married there next November. Annie is particularly adept at dealing with hyperactive and opinionated brides (sorry! ). Highly recommended.

Nice looking place, but can't say good service. Welcome below average. Only 1/3 roll of toilet paper in suite, no spares. Had to ask staff. Bathroom very poor. 2 cheap simple hooks on door. Pity I cant attach photo. No towel rails. Wardrobe door has large gap between doors, back of robe coming apart, only one hanger. Bed average. Meals average, entree of king prawns only large shrimps, salmon main was obviously a supermarket prepacked piece. Breakfast average. Experience was not as expected for whay one would expect by website. Sorry but very disappointed.

We got married here just over two weeks ago, the day went so smoothly and it was everything we could of wished for and more. The castle itself is beautiful, rustic and all rooms were immaculate (couldn't fault them) the views were amazing and the sunrise beaming through our window in the bridal suite was lovely, not forgetting the lovely view of the Wallace monument The staff work so hard here and nothing is to much trouble for them. They made us and the guests feel at ease… straight away. The food served the night before and on the day was exceptional and piping hot when it was served. I would also like to say a big thank you to Gary and Scott for everything! My guests wouldn't stop commenting on how hard you's worked and how friendly and down to earth you's are. You's definitely made the day/night! Thank you's again, you's and the other staff worked non stop to make our day perfect! We will definitely be back to stay as mr and mrs palmer.

Superb location, delicious meal, fairy place. Sleeping in a real castle;) the staff is very friendly. A good address to remember.

Great price for staying in a castle. Very clean, and I absolutely loved the effort and attention to making this look like a medieval castle. Good priced drinks and dinner, and I liked the authentic food. People were very nice too. Only downfall was you could really hear the people above you and I noticed my floor was very squeaky too.

Fantastic weekend away. Great food. And lively staff. Rooms are nothing spectacular. But done the job. A fantastic base to explore from.

The Castle is amazing! The staff are really friendly, one of the ladies who served breakfast even suggested a couple of places we could visit that we hadn't seen already. The staff made time to stop and chat and didn't make you feel like you were taking up their time or being a pain. The room (4) was lovely with a huge sleigh bed with an ensuite bathroom with a free standing bath that could probably fit two people, we didn't actually try… the view from the room is of a l…ittle summer house and garden, and through the trees were the mountains, and also above next doors garden. (Look past the neighbours garden and ignore the squeaky floorboards) ;) The food… oh my the food…
So I have a very fussy husband who doesn't eat much, so myself and one of the staff conversed about the menu and what we could have, we decided on steak and chips even though it wasn't on the current menu, again not making us feel like we were being a pain, that's what we had, his plain and simple, mine with all the trimmings, it was delicious. I also had a pudding, which I never usually do, creme brûlée with raspberries and home made shortbread, I could possibly eat that for the rest of my life! We decided to sit in the bar for the rest of the evening with another couple we met who were staying there, and Come the end of the night the bar staff left us too it in the lounge, locked up the bar and just asked us to turn off the lights and lock the door.

The room we had was a budget booking and was okay. Bed very comfortable but more pillows would have been nice. Massive bed and furnished in keeping with the castle theme. Very interesting building and history. A building with a colourful past. All public rooms very pleasant. Staff very helpful too. An adequate breakfast was served quickly and efficiently.

Magical. I loved the charm of the charm of the entire place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I felt like royalty, every little girls dream to stay in a castle. The room was huge, giving us room to spread out on the lounge and relax. The bed was massive and so comfortable. The furniture gave the old world charm and I wish I had taken the time to immerse myself in that beautiful claw foot bath. The meal was divine, the entire experience was faultless, and the prices didn't put this unique experience out of reach for the average traveler. Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay. I only wish I could give 10 stars.

Broomhall Castle was beautiful. We arrived to excellent Customer Service and we're checked in/shown to our room with no problems whatsoever. We were lucky to stay in room 18 which was huge and had an en-suite in the turret. Fab night sleep — bed was super comfortable and everything was spotless. Breakfast was great and plenty to choose from — suits all tastes. Although we didn't use the bar we visited it before we left. The lounge area is fab with gorgeous views. Checkout was easy enough. One of the girls n the restaurant checked us out seemlessly. Cannot wait to go back.

This was such a lovely experience! We booked this on a random Tuesday night and wasn't expecting much. When you walk in there's no desk just someone standing with a clip board. When you look to the right there's a very basic dining area. Let me tell you looks were very deceiving! The staff was absolutely wonderful! We had one guy (Scott! ) who did almost everything. From dinner orders, check-in, bartender, and who knows maybe even chef! He was such a rock star! The food was probably the best food I had in the entire U. K. VERY authentic Scottish food, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed every meal! I highly recommend-for the price it's a steal! Very clean, and huge rooms! The bathroom was looked like it was brand new! Who doesn't want to stay in a castle?

Incredible looking castle from outside. It was a little hard to find, further from Stirling than it appears and a tad bit off the main road behind a small subdivision. It's well secluded in greenery. When my wife and I arrived there as no reception and we had to look for staff member to check us in. We connected to the Wi-Fi but our reception was terrible the entire stay and it was basically useless. The room was a nice size but the amenities only decent. The bathrooms could use and update. Breakfast was standard but good. The only staff member we dealt with appeared to be front desk, bartender, bellhop, etc all rolled into one. He wasn't rude but not friendly either and my wife found him a little creepy.

Well, old or not — the staff are lovely and friendly and cannot do enough to please. I have stayed at much more expensive hotels and received much poorer service. The evening meal was delicious with a varied menu. The full Scottish breakfast was so large we settled for coffee, toast and cereal and saved ourselves for the evening. The bar is open from mid-day and well stocked to suit almost everyone whether your tipple is coffee/tea & biscuits or a more exotic Singapore Sling. It is situated just over 5 miles from Stirling which has wonderful shopping centres and many smaller local shops. A bus runs regularly from the village and taxis are easily accessible from the hotel reception area. We visited on a cold bleak December weekend and received a very warm welcome we will remember for years. Thank you broomhall castle & staff!

Lovely little castle hotel. Amazing staff and nice room. Breakfast was great! Not too far from Stirling if you have a car. I can really recommend this hotel! And we would have loved to stay bit longer.
