Had a lovely meal staff lovely x.

Been here several times for a meal now. Does not disappoint! Food is fresh and homemade. Portions are brilliant. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The menu is excellent and it caters for everyone. My parents deliberately come over to see me so we can go here. It’s their favourite place for a meal. So lucky to have such a good eatery on my doorstep.

Had a very relaxed lunch with friends in lovely settings. The food was so fresh and tasted amazing… as always… likewise the service was so friendly and attentive that I guess we could easily have overstayed our welcome if we had had more free time. So happy to see the Station hotel open again as the food and customer service is excellent and always a favourite choice for lunch or dinner.

Was at the Station Hotel Carnoustie on Thursday for my birthday meal. It was fabulous and the service by the waitresses excellent when I ordered my Sticky Toffee pudding they brought it in with a candle on top of it and sang me HappyBirthday well it just made my night thank you for a great night we will certainly be back management should be proud of there staff and the Steak pie was excellent. We held our wedding here last week. The food, staff and rooms were amazing. Would highly recommend.

My parents had their golden wedding there, the room was dressed immaculately, the staff also, were fantastic, I think most had the famous steak pie. Thank you all who made it a day to remember.

The 6th year I have spent here on holiday the staff cannot do enough to help, rooms kept to a high standard of cleanliness breakfast and supper plentiful, well presented and full of flavour. Thank you for making my holiday special and hope to see you next year.

Massive thank you to Bryan and all the staff for hosting my dad's surprise 80th birthday meal, service and hospitality of all staff was excellent, would definitely recommend and will most definitely be back, thanks again from all the Mortons.

I had my first visit to Carnoustie today. Nice wee town. Popped into the Station Hotel after a wander around. Beautifully kitted out public bar. Grace the barmaid on duty was chatty and very efficient. TV showing golf and no intrusive loud music. Very comfortable. I would definitely recommend The Station Hotel and will be back at some time soon. Thank you for a pleasurable experience. 10/10.

My son and daughter-in-law got married there on Saturday 7th July it was fantastic place to have a wedding the staff & owners couldnt be more helpful & nothing was too much trouble. The rooms we beatuful breakfast & wedding meal was brillant. There was 3/4 families down from Aberdeenshire we all had a ball. We will be back very soon xx.

Had a great 2 nights stay, all staff were excellent. Was there for a wedding and all of us well catered for. Food was first class and the breakfast was fantastic compliments to the Chef and management & staff will definitely be staying here again.

Dropped in for something to eat and wasn't disappointed. Friendly staff and atmosphere, tastefully decorated. Would definitely use it again if in the area.

A group went for afternoon high tea. Gosh well worth the £12.75 We could not even finish our scones. Ham salad was to die for. My only grumble would be there was to much, and that's only because I am a small eater. The ham tasted wonderful and plenty of it so worth it and all staff wonderful helpful and truly was service with a smile.

We had the High Tea menu. Great choice on the menu, something for everyone. Excellent portion size and very tasty. Scones were lovely but pot of tea was a bit weak for my liking and would have preferred some home made cakes instead of shop bought but overall it was good value for money.

We went this evening for our first experience of a high tea and our first visit to the station hotel. Despite a good start; our waitress was chatty and pleasant, it all went a bit downhill from there… when taking our orders, we weren’t asked for options (veg or salad etc) although this was stated on the menu, our toast plates weren’t cleared but the mains were brought out anyway and these still weren’t cleared when we had these. We had our two year old with us and she was not brought any cutlery — we had to request this. One of our party had requested no peas with their dinner and these were put on the plate. Three of us had scampi which clearly states on the menu comes with tartare sauce and yet we again had to request this. The cakes were brought out with no additional plates to use so we had to ask for these. We had only been given three butters initially for our toasts (5 people) so wanted more but had to wait 10 minutes before we could even see someone to ask. We then finished and were sat for easily 20 minutes with no plates being cleared or being spoken to until we asked for the bill. We then asked for our cakes to be boxed up, got home and found that they had left one out. The food wasn’t bad overall but the service massively let it down for us. We won’t be returning.

Good hotel in a good location. The lounge bar inside the hotel is ideal for a quiet drink and the food is superb. Would definitely recommend.

Local hotel right next to Carnoustie railway station, great meal, sky TV, friendly staff, pool table.

We are just home after staying two nights at the Hotel and were pleasantly surprised at just how good a weekend we had after reading some poor reviews recently. The room we were in was huge and very clean and comfortable. There was an extra heater in the room which was a good idea as it kept the room really warm at this cold time of year. Our meal on Friday night was delicious, with good sized portions and breakfast was cooked to order and was tasty although some fresh fruit and porridge as an option would make it even better! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Merry Christmas to you all hope 2018 is a busy one for you.

I was attending a funeral. Staff were considerate and helpful. Layout was good. Food was a good selection and plentiful! Can't complain.

Stayed here while working away and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to rest there head, clean tidy modern all spring to mind. The staff where friendly and helpful and the food was really nice and highly recommended.

Had dinner no complaints was lovely, however later on in room could not open window as double or triple glazing so room was very hot and bathroom heater was on all night?. Beds to narrow not slept well,,,,,,,, Breakfast was nice but young waitress was grumpy and had to ask for toast maybe a good morning would be nice and a smile, think staff are to YOUNG not very well organized.

I didn't like this place. The food was bland and not very private. You feel like an intruder on some one else's party.

Had a lovely family meal here. Staff all attentive and helpful. Good selection of food on offer, homemade lasagne was great as was the lentil soup. Would highly recommend for slightly more formal yet relaxed dining.

I've never been here but one of the underpaid staff members is my fwiend.

Even though they were obviously busy the service was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband had the haddock and I had the steak pie. Portion sizes were really good, so much so I didn't have room for the sticky toffee pudding! Excellent value for money and a very enjoyable evening. If we are in the area again we will return and possably stay as our stay at the Golf Hotel was lacking. My money is to hard earned to not have good service. Top marks Station Hotel Carnustie.

Christmas party night. Excellent night by all food was excellent and the staff were top drawer made our night extra special.
