Had a fantastic stay in the Armagh City Hotel with an excellent meal in the Friary Restaurant and a full breakfast to boot. Now back to reality. Thank you Matthew & Megan for the wonderful gift. Highly recommend this hotel. Good food and great staff all round.

Attended my nephew and his wife's wedding yesterday. Beautiful 5 course meal. Really tasty food giving you the feeling that you never wanted it to finish. Exceptional manager with great team of pleasant workers. Highly recommend. Well done!

We have just stayed there and the breakfast was cold and the staff weren't any better.

Hotel was excellent shame about the bar staff very ignorant.

The hotel is central to a lot of amenities. And has good parking space. Rooms spotless. Meals were lovely and staff were very helpful and pleasant could highly recommend.

We attended the NYE dinner last night and the food was amazing! The best food we’ve ever had in the hotel. The service was also brilliant. 12/10 👏🏻 very impressed.

Had afternoon tea with friends and it was absolutely lovely. Tasty and definitely value for money. Will definitely return.

Food terrible and staff not on the ball decided to give this place one last try, never again.

We weren't given the correct rooms we booked. Luckily we had 1 one less that was expected to come. Reception don't allow you to check in before 3pm even though rooms are ready which leads to queues for 3pm check in. Service was slow in bar and reception.

Went for a bar snack in the early evening. It was pretty busy for a Monday. We were seated quickly. The service was very good &. Our young waiter very pleasant. Food very good & even got a complementary drink seeing as it was our wedding anniversary. Came away feeling well satisfied.

Excellent hotel. Had a great 2 night stay with my 8 year old son. We had a fantastic few days. Hotel is lovely inside, very spacious foyer with coffee/cafe area. Breakfast room was very nice and well organised, breakfast was delicious.
Bar/dining is also very spacious and the waiting staff are extremely courteous, friendly and attentive. My son wanted to tip every single one lol!
Evening meals are lovely, plentiful and it has a great selection of dishes all at reasonable prices.
Our bedroom was immaculate, very spacious which is great when travelling with a child. Tea/coffee facilities and Beds were super comfy, large bathroom with a great shower. Will definitely return.

Just had dinner and staff were lovely and very friendly. Definitely a massive plus in current circumstances, well done!

I loved the spa. The bedroom was spacious with comfortable bed n I got a plate of birthday goodies n a card in my room which I was delighted about. Staff very helpful. Couldnt fault it. Hopfully be back soon. Such good value.

I had the worst eating experience in this Hotel yesterday. The waiter who took our order got it wrong resulting on us having almost finished our meal before some of the food arrived. The waiter who took the dessert order got it wrong too never mind the fact that we had the dessert menu in front of us before they took the order. The floor under our table was disgusting most of the previous customers carrots were sticking to it. Two hugs of water with a hint of orange cost £5. The place was very busy but that was no excuse for such bad service. When l went to pay they could nt find the bill. Overall bad service and over priced in a very grotty establishment. L will not return.

Went here this evening for food and
everything from service to food was 1st class. Food was exceptional. Hotel was busy which is always good to see and nothing was too much trouble. Great staff, great service and great food.
Will definitely be back.

Had the most amazing spa and afternoon tea experience yesterday. Everything was perfect; treatments were excellent and done by the fab beauty girls who are amazingly talented and the staff serving the afternoon tea were very attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious. Couldn’t fault any aspect. Will definitely return.

Just had my niece's hen party, we booked the package including an overnight stay and have to say the experience was just amazing from start to finish. Could not fault anything about this hotel and the staff are first class, nothing was impossible. Thank you so much for making this a memorable occasion, would definitely recommend this hotel and will most definitely be back, thank you so much.

Went here this evening for tea… will not be going back.
Food was all obviously reheated from been cooked earlier. Very disappointing.

Had my wee girls confirmation here yesterday from start to finish it was perfect food was lovely and staff were very friendly and so efficient they could not do enough for us all our guests agreed that it was a brilliant day.

My mum and myself spent last night in this hotel and couldn't recommend it high enough. All the staff were courteous, friendly and so helpful. Rooms were very spacious and warm. Beds comfy and clean. Food and drinks excellent — will definitely visit again — thank you.

Was at the hotel Last night to see Margo and Mike Denvor a great show. I had a meal be for the show it was beautiful so tasty and staff so friendly. Can't wait to go back. Top class hotel.

Great food, freshly prepared and staff are always fantastic. It's a great stop for tea, coffee, lunch and desserts. Highly recommended.

Not a double bed in my room … it's a triple. Plus a single. Perfect family room. Breakfasts are good lunches are great and dinners are right out of the top drawer. Ample free parking and the gym deserves to be in any city centre. I highly recommend you stay here if you are touring County Armagh. Oh and the staff are first class.

Great food, friendly service and prices. They made a special effort to get us balcony access so we could eat with a dog. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have stayed here twice now and have loved it on both occasions. Rooms are lovely and beds are Hugh. Staff are more than helpful and food is great. We will definitely stay again.

Can I take this opportunity to thank Armagh City Hotel management for resolving to the families satisfaction, the unpleasant and disturbing incident that occurred two days ago! Life for autism families can be profoundly difficult, its extremely stressful, sometimes lonely and lots of hard days can be felt. So compassion and understanding goes a long way in making life easier for all. I must commend the hotel in dealing with their shortcomings and joining forces with Autism Ni in training their staff in the area of Autism awareness. Well done!

Last week was our second visit to this hotel. I have 2 young children and the oldest boy loves coming here, the youngest isnt talking yet! When I told my son we were going back, he asked could he go to the nice swimming pool and lovely restaurant, he had remembered from the last time we were there.
We have never been made feel anything but welcome. Its hard taking two young and (very) active kids to a hotel but we have never had an issue. From the staff at reception to each and every staff we have had encounters with, thank you so much. The fact that we returned speaks volumes.

A relaxing atmosphere with plenty of places to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Great location with plenty of parks. Food is good but would recommend eating in the bar or the front part rather than the restaurant.

Love this hotel, reception staff lovely, food lovely. Really enjoyed stayed. Would love the spa area to be updated and that would complete hotel.

Had dinner in the restaurant. Food was delicious and the menu was varied. In fact, I had a real hard time tryin to pick somethin, which in my opinion, is a good thing. Ambience is nice and the service is good.

We had our wedding at Armagh city hotel On sat what a wonderful organised day. They have the best staff ever, I never been to a wedding yet that everything went so smooth in the reception everyone admired whole staff and great job done by Garett Yvonne Aron and rest of the crew! Fantastic thank you so so much for everything and thank you for putting up with me hehe such a wonderful day and meal I couldn’t of recommend yous enough! Honestly I’m overwhelmed with the hard work yous have put in our wedding, absolutely nothing couldn’t of have been done better absolutely perfect! and Garett definitely deserves a medal I had him tortured I don’t know how many times I called to see him in hotel and been changing stuff about but Garett and rest of the staff had everything done exactly the way I asked. I got so so many complements from absolutely everyone about the reception and staff — Well done guys! I don’t know why people would want to go away far to get married when you have such a wonderful place at your door step.

Good food, great environment but don't sit near the door on the raised dining area or you'll be frozen by smokers exiting and entering. Some great staff and some who should work where there's no people. Great for eating plus telly viewing of sports. Of course I am biased in favour of the cosmopolitan feel of hotel eating.

In Armagh Hotel, handed a latte that was spilled all over the glass and the handle, my face must have been a picture, the waitress asked me if I would like the glass wiped! The Diet Coke glass had a huge hair in it. I asked for another glass and was told the place was very busy tonight. Latte was good but not very warm but the cheese cake was good and it was all reasonably priced. Jim just arrived, a change of waitress, Ekaterina knows how to make a good latte and it is very warm, enjoy Jim.

Large hotel with decent rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is decent and really good choices for breakfast. There is a leisure centre on site which residents can access. Large car parking area which is off the street but not secure. Coffee and Tea making facilities are in the rooms.

I will tell you that unfortunately neither me nor my friends liked the treatment however the property is very nice so 5 stars just for that.

Whenever my wife and I go home (I was born in Armagh) we always stay here. Lovely hotel brilliant staff. Room, food and service excellent. Even if you just fancy a coffee staff are very attentive. Good selection of wine and the Guinness is good.

Food awesome, little bit dated. But very clean super clean. Convient to moody boar though food great in hotel.

Lovely hotel. Food is amazing. Best steak in a long long time and breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice. Rooms immaculate. Leisure facilities enjoyable. Overall class hotel.

Service at Xmas dinner was good, entertainment was good, there was lack of bar facilities in the main entertainment room had to go out to one of the other bars. Photo booth was far far too expensive and guy delivering it was quite rude but overall brilliant night so can't complain. Didn't stay so can't comment on rooms, location was easy to find.

Attended a work Christmas party. The food was great, the location was very handy to reach and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Think I'll go back for an afternoon tea!

Lovely hotel in the picturesque heart of the City of Armagh. Nice rooms, friendly staff, well stocked bar and the quintessential Irish breakfast. Whats not to love?

We stayed as a Group of over 30, for 4 nights in beginning of October. Our leader booked directly, not through a travel agent and found it very easy. The person assigned to our group was very helpful and answered all queries promptly. Check in on arrival was very efficient and speedy. Rooms were large, even those assigned as singles, clean and bright with good size bathrooms Our stay was made most enjoyable by friendly, helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. One of our group had a problem with a window which was fixed immediately when reported.

I stayed here for one night as I was on a 2 day tour of NI sight seeing. What a wonderful hotel. From the time I walked through the door to the very spacious lobby and up to the reception desk, people were friendly and inviting. The receptionist was very helpful and check in was a breeze. The same receptionist checked me out the next morning, again, with the same lovely friendly attitude. The breakfast was excellent, and service was first class. The room was well presented, bed very comfy, and I also had the luxury of a balcony. Would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next trip.

I had to give Armagh City Hotel a 5 as it is very well located and easy to get to with loads of parking. The foyer and bar are very chic. Great barrista and the food was first class. Light and airy the decor is contemporary. I found the staff very pleasant, helpful and professional. Very well run hotel. Wheelchair access also.

We had an excellent meal there as part of a big retirement celebration. The food was first class as was the service. Everyone was served quickly which must have been difficult given that there were more than 250 people there.

Very nice hotel in a very nice area. Right beside the Palace Demense which is a beautiful place to visit and is rich with nature. Extremely close to the city centre, and the workers there are lovely. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, other than that it's great.

Was there for a graduation, and the food served was lovely! The staff were friendly and helpful. Knowing there would be a lot of people the hotel had air con on which most wouldn't.

Was there for my son's graduation. Plenty of staff to let you know where to go. Lovely coffee bar but a bit slow. Food afterwards was lovely and good gluten free options. Plenty of parking.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the lobby. There are a number of very dated bits in the rooms. Service was great at breakfast.

The ambience. It had just a very relaxed n friendly atmosphere thanks mainly to the very pleasant n efficient staff. The rooms were very clean comfortable n bright. Food esp breakfast was excellent had a very positive experience there wud certaintly stay there again. Oh and my room 2 front of hotel had beautiful view over city n one of the Cathedrals!

Superb commercial hotel, clean rooms. Food good, multiple taste of Ulster awards on display. Bar food good, recommend roast of the day, but bar can be busy until 8pm.

Excellent professional hotel. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Dinner was very good and the buffet breakfast was good. Loads of food. Overall worth staying there and parking was plentiful. Close to the city centre.

Went for a coffee at 9pm. Good coffee, nice atmosphere, pleasant evening overall.

Went to a wedding at the hotel. Staff where friendly and prompt. Food was great with little wait between courses. The inside was nice and clean and we'll maintained.

Called in for a meal here, on a very busy Sunday in May. Staff very efficient and helpful. I quickly got a table and enjoyed a vg Chicken Maryland meal. Followed by tea and biscuits in the lounge nearby. One of my favourite places in Northern Ireland.

Great weekend very satisfied.

Nightclub here is over rated and bouncers will kick anyone out for unreasonable reasons. Would not reccomend to anyone to go and WILL not be back.
