We stayed in May and it was a beautiful comfortable stay, the grounds were great and the house is just beautiful with original features. Would defo recommend.

Just spent the last weekend here accommodated all 10 of us and what a privilege it was beautifully decorated rooms in the old traditional style but with modern amenities you could not ask for more.
They are currently installing a new bbq and party area within the grounds and John one of the hosts was so helpful he just couldn’t do enough for us.
All in all a most remarkable place with enough room for the whole family.

Avril and John made us so welcome at Banoge house. An absolutely stunning place to be! I could have stayed forever! So much space to spread out and relax and plenty of communal areas for eating and spending time together. The beautiful gardens are kept so immaculate thanks to Johns hard work so was always nearby to make sure everyone was ok. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for groups of any size for any occasion! Thank you Banoge house for all the laughs and excellent hospitality!

I've just returned from a fabulous couple of nights at Banoge House. There was a group of 10 of us staying for my future sister-in-law's much anticipated hen party! Avril and John at Banoge House couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. Nothing was a trouble and they even gave us lifts back and forth on Saturday night! Where would you get it? Banoge House itself is a stunning period house with loads of charm and unique features. I felt privileged to be able to stay there and I know everyone else in our party loved it too. Everywhere you look there is something of interest. To top it all off, the garden! John was out working in it the whole time we were there, he takes brilliant care of the grounds and it shows. Cannot wait to come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any group or couple looking for a relaxed, one of a kind place to stay :)

Banoge house was so lovely! John and Avril were both so nice and helpful. The house is really beautiful. Its absolutely massive. There was 17 of us and we had so much space. The hottub was so good too! Would definitely recommend and will stay again for sure!

Fourteen of us stayed at Banoge House for a 40th birthday celebration, and we cannot recommend this place enough! John and Avril were fantastic hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. The house is absolutely stunning with comfortable, spacious rooms and a cosy fireplace which was lit for our arrival. We will 100% be back, we can't wait to make use of the beautiful gardens in the summer.

5 Stars What a hotel! The owners are so friendly and go out of their way for you. The hotel is charming, comfortable and homely. This really was home from home. John the owner couldn’t do enough for you, whether that cook you an evening meal or offer you a beer or a cup of tea. I’ve never stayed in a friendlier hotel…

Perfect place for a large group, loads of room for our group of 14 adults and 3 children. Comfortable sitting rooms, spacious bedrooms, fantastic kitchen. Lovely grounds for a quiet walk. John and Avril were welcoming and always there if we needed anything.

This place says it all beautiful decor sympathetic to its heritage and grandeur and absolutely lovely friendly owner.

Recently stayed at Avril and John's beautiful house for my good friends wedding. Hospitality was welcoming from the minute we all stepped into Avril and John's property. All guests from the wedding party agreed the stay was welcoming and like home from home. All staff couldn't do enough for myself and everyone else staying. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. Thank you all again.

Beautiful country house with considerate and friendly owners. Looked after the party of wedding guests I was part of exceptionally from first thing in the morning until late into the night! A lovely fire in one of the comfortable lounges kept us cosy. Would recommend for large group stays and self catering, we had a brilliant time in this wonderful property.

Had a great time at Bonoge House it is stunning and has all the beauty and class of a period home, plus John and Avril are just the best of hosts making this way more than an overnight stay, more a home from home thanks John and Avil. Will be back to stay in the new four-poster bedroom for sure.

This is a great place to stay, don't expect it to be like one of the big chain hotels. John is a great host and will make sure that your stay is pleasant. Breakfast and dinner is available on request and he can cook a wide range of dishes. We would really recommend Banoge House!

Lovely well kept Manor where we were made to feel at home by John, who is a wonderful, hospitable man. Definitely want to go back again!

What an amazing place to stay — truly a unique find. This is up among the best of Northern Ireland's country house B&Bs — Newforge and Marlagh Lodge are among my favourites — featuring period excellence, peaceful slumber, space and relaxing hospitality from hosts who are happy to share their fantastic homes. We really appreciated Avril and Joe's easy-going courtesy.
