I had a lovely big battered haddock and chips and the sticky toffee pudding. First time there and id go back. Nice & polite staff. Good price.

Ordered our first takeaway for delivery tonight (not the first food ever, just have had to collect before). Easy ordering service, great choices, great value for money. Food was delivered within the hour, and was hot and delicious. Great service, thanks!

Friendly staff menu was great.

Had the best cup of coffee and Cullen skink. Just what we needed after a walk along the beach and seeing the seals. Absolutely a must for lunch.

Our club held our AGM in the function room this evening. We were brilliantly looked after by Lynn and her team catering for 70 of us both at the bar and providing tea’s and coffee’s. The function room was perfectly set out and Lynn also assisted with a remedy to an unusual request. Excellent venue and can be assured we will return again. Very nice baked potatoes with jaggies and other fillings. Enjoyed it very much. Speedy service and smiling!

Had a takeaway tonight, amazing fish supper, amazing tex mex supper, would highly recommend to anyone.

Thumbs up here! The younger two loved the kids menu (broth then sausages and chips, and nachos then chicken and chips), and the fish and chips / burger (as you can see! ) were top notch! No room for dessert after THAT Sunday lunch! Very friendly staff. Would definitely come back. Good value too. Then walked some of it off having a peak at the seals down at the beach in the sunshine ☀️

Food is fresh and very tasty! Excellent menu’s for adults and kids… sadly service was not so great, staff were very slow to take our order for food and apologised for the wait as each course was served slower than the first! It’s a lovely place but only visit if you have time to spare and don’t mind long waits.

Called in by chance, we were travelling along the coast road and decided to have lunch. Meals were great, and we left the car on the car park and took a stroll down to the beach. We were surprised to see a colony of seals on the beach and swimming in the water. An excellent experience we will not forget. (We enjoyed the food so much that we went back for a romantic dinner the following night).

Had a wonderful meal in here for my husband's birthday. The surroundings were lovely and the staff were friendly and could not do enough for our 11 guests. The meal was excellent and very good value for money. Would not hesitate to go back again.

Was there on Saturday night for our tea and couldn't fault it one bit! Food was lovely and service excellent especially the female waiting staff who entertained my 2 little boys think the staff were just as delighted with them than they were with the staff lol.

Went to the inn for food and the food was excellent. Large portions, good kids meals, lovely atmosphere, only thing that I didn't like was the music that was being played in the restaurant. Highly depressing.

Loved the party I had here today. Been here for a few parties in the past and always found it to be a good place to hold a party. They have plenty of parking outside with easy access to the function room for wheelchair users. The separate entrance means you're not disturbing guests enjoying their dinner in the main building. They provide the party food for the children and with Lisa Lollipop providing the entertainment the only thing left to do is enjoy the party.

Such poor service. Guests almost finished their meals before getting their drinks? Six members of staff at the bar and no one taking command to bring things in order. Seated at the table but had to wait 25mins for a drinks order then two other staff members came over and asked if we had ordered drinks. A poor experience before even getting the food. No atmosphere to the place; and whilst it was steady I couldn’t say it was busy — so that can’t be used as an excuse. Nice surroundings but totally disorganised. Waited an hour to get food.

Been twice this week on our holiday here in Newburgh. Had excellent lunches, and service was great. A definite recommendation.

Stopped for a bite to eat after visiting BrewDog HQ — and we were not disappointed. We had one of those Moments where we hadn't booked, so they had to check if they had space. The place was 20% full at best, and I'm sure only 4 people came in after us before we left! Anyway, food and drink was good.

Nice decor, good selection of drinks, and in a great location near a seal spotting bay. The staff were very friendly however the coffee was very very poor.

A great spot with a charming little pub. We stayed here after touring BrewDog. The breakfast is excellent.

Great food, but anbit of a drafty seat and the food was very slow at coming out. The service whilst friendly enough was a bit mixed dependent on who was serving. Would definitely visit again but hope things are running a bit smoother next time.

The welcome st the Newburgh is terrific. I had had a harrowing journey and when Claire, Dawn and Sarah welcomed me I felt so much better!
Refurbished 3 years ago the Inn has a modern contemporary feel but has retained a really good Scottish feel.
Beds and bedding are luxurious, shower is powerful and hot.
The bar has a great choice of over 60 whiskies and 50 gins as well as a good range of craft beers and ciders.
Great menu, range of food from ‘pub style’ to more refined dishes. All fresh and locally supplied where possible. Had a really good stay, might go seal hunting down the road, only 5 minutes to the nature reserve and beach!

Friendly initial welcome and great room — nice and spacious. However evening service for our meal was very slow and after bring told to find a seat and someone would come take our order in a couple of minutes, it was a good 10 minutes later and then after the first drinks being 'the bottom of the barrel' and tasting quite vinigary we were offered a replacement our food arrived before we actually had a drink! The steak knife wouldn't even cut through the steak it was that tough and full of gristle. Won't be going back anytime soon!

Stayed here years ago and came back on business. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, big open rooms, great for working and spreading out. Food is superb and breakfast cooked perfectly! Staff outstanding, can't do enough for you and personality to boot. Nice village. Coastal walks 5 mins away, perfect and highly recommended!

Me and my partner decided to give the meals a try as never been before.
Was very welcoming and even though we hadn't booked the staff was good enough to accommodate us ata busy period. Was a little wait for food to come after ordering but once food arrived we could see it and been freshly prepared and the food was absolutely delicious highly recommended by both of us. And we will definitely be back to try other meals on the menu.

Fantastic food. Loaded burger and a super plate of fish and chips. The kitchen kindly accommodated a request for a dish that wasn't on the menu, which we greatly appreciated. Service seemed to be quite slow. Two courses for us took 2 hours. Not sure if this is a staffing or kitchen issue. We would return, perhaps when it's less busy.

Staff couldn't do enough for you… the food is delicious. … the rooms are spotless … and all in one of my top 5 hotel experience's highly recommended for a visit.

Wonderful selection of food. We were checked in and shown our room really quickly by a lovely, friendly girl. Our room was bright, comfortable and spacious. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and tasty. Will surely come back again!

Got some starters with drinks. Friendly staff who were helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Quiet location with a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Food was good, fresh and well prepared (though the tempura was a little soggy at the bottom). The environment was plesent but we came with children and were given a few subtle hints that keeping them entertained with improvised games at the table (stacking sauce packets etc) was not really appreciated. We didn't make a mess (other than the unavoidable with a 13 month old) or much in the way of noise. But just didn't feel quite welcome with kids. So as if you go with adults this would not be an issue and with the pretty decent quality of the food (limited range of standard UK fair) on the whole not bad.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in, I work away a lot with my job and have stayed in lots of hotels, this comes at the top, the staff are the best very friendly an efficient, food great, rooms first class, we have been here for two weeks, one to go, if I'm in the area working again I will definitely stay here again.
