Just back from my sisters wedding the hotel is beautiful the staff are amazing the wedding coordinator was fab master of ceremonies was excellent food was great Rooms are lovely Thank you all involved in making my sisters wedding day unforgettable.

We couldn’t rate the hotel highly enough, 6* would not be enough! We recently had our wedding at the hotel and our day was just so magical. From start to finish, Aimee & Julie were amazing. Nothing was any trouble and they made us feel so relaxed. Everything ran so smoothly on the day and nothing could have been done to make it better. All the staff were so helpful to all our guests staying. Food was superb and exactly as we wanted. No wonder these guys win award after award ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had myself and my bridesmaids at Norwood for an afternoon tea today. Fair to say it was lovely! Everything was perfect and the staff were so attentive (especially Alex & Jordan☺️) The food was amazing, to the point we got extra sandwiches as they were just fab😂 The freshly cooked scones were also to die for! A big thank you to the staff for making it lovely🤍 Would 100% recommend! x.

My partner and I married at the Norwood in May 2022, and from the initial booking process right through to the wedding day the staff were absolutely fantastic. Aimee Nekrews went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect, and the whole team did a brilliant job to work together to create a magical time for us. Nothing was too much trouble, they communicated with us immediately and continuously throughout the process. We couldn't have wished for a more organised hotel, not even to mention the stunning grounds. They have a fantastic reputation with local suppliers who love to work with them as well, which put us at ease when speaking with other suppliers. Couldn't have wished for anything else.

We got married on Friday and I would like to say a huge thank you to all staff especially to Amiee, Amy and Adrian yous truly did amazing. I can't thank yous enough. Nothing was ever to much from day one! As soon as we booked our wedding Amiee has been nothing but fantastic! I really can't recommend a better hotel and hotel coordinators! yous are all amazing so friendly and down to earth. The food was amazing from our food tasting to the big day and the amount of food! yum! did not disappointed for sure! we had a meal the night before which was so good! Thank yous all so much again yous are truly amazing at what yous do!

We got married here last sunday and Aimee, Julie, morven & Jordan were all absolutely amazing, nothing was ever a issue on run up to the wedding and on our actual day, I never felt like I couldnt ask anything, our meal was sooo good and the amount of food we had for canapes and buffet was crazy. You can totally see why they win award after award they deserve it hands down 😁

Me and my fiancé were here tonight for a meal and it was incredible! The food was beautifully cooked and the service from the staff was excellent! All were so friendly!

Wow is all I can say! We had our wedding here and can I just say both Aimee, Julie and the rest of the team are brilliant! I couldn't have asked for better, they all made sure myself and hubby were well looked after and we both felt so at ease 🥰💖 anytime I had a question they got back to me quickly and nothing was too much u trouble for them. Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds and lovely place for a romantic or any other break. Staff very helpful and can’t do enough to help especially the manager. I’m a coach driver escorting a group of passengers and the manager has been very accommodating and helpful with any requests I have made. Highly recommend a stay at the Norwood Hall Hotel.

We’ve just enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea in the library. Our 2 households (5 people) got the room to ourselves which was superb. Lovely staff, plenty tasty food and a doggy bag for the leftovers. Very good value. Highly recommended. Thanks!

We had a superb afternoon tea for 4; 2 vegetarians, 1 vegan and 1 ‘normal’. We each had individualised sandwiches and there were individualised scones and cakes for vegan. Everything was absolutely delicious with lovely service and endless refills of tea and coffee. Could not fault this brilliant culinary experience in beautiful and classy surroundings.

I had my wedding her in February 2020 and it was a fantastic day! The staff were so polite and made my day perfect. There food is amazing and presented really nicely! Can’t say any faults either.

What a lovely stay we have just had at this gorgeous hotel. Lovely people, lovely room, great service. Special thanks (and sorry I don't know your names) to the lady who served me coffee and who topped up my cup without being asked this morning and to the lady who was patient with my 8 year old, who kept asking for eggs and bacon. Well done.

We went there for a meal, service was excellent and so was the food.

Stayed overnight for an event the next day. Everything was top class, the food, drinks and staff were excellent. The room was great and the bed was extremely comfortable, quite a rarity these days.

It's a lovely hotel, surrounded by a very well kept grounds, excellent for a quiet and relaxing stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent. We initially booked 2 rooms in the old building, one was very nice but the other one was dusty and we asked to be moved to the new building. The rooms in the new building are big, very clean and tasteful furnished and the bathrooms are spotless.

We are so glad we chose Norwood Hall for our wedding venue, such a beautiful hotel, amazing setting and the team… what can I say;
Julie, Vicky and the rest of the team, were absolutely incredible, so accommodating and very helpful! Julie was even on hand with much needed bozies at various steps along the way.

Reception was excellent, even offered to carry our bags as the lift was out (lightning strikes, there were a few lifts in Aberdeen not working this weekend)
Room was spotlessly clean, huge, cool with windows open, quiet (amazingly with weddings on both nights), bathroom was fantastic and both were well appointed
Food was superb, staff fantastic, various rooms and bars were gorgeous, and the grounds magnificent
Prices were better than expected (ie cheaper) for a hotel of this quality

Nice staff, beautiful gardens. Very ornate interior design. Great bar and dining. We were there July 2018. Unusally dry and warm weather. No air conditioning so room was a might uncomfortable till about 8 or 9:00pm.

One of the most wonderful experiences in my life. This hotel is historic and quite old, yet it's so comfortable and beautiful. Its garden is an absolute beauty. A perfect place for weddings.

In from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Decided to stay at this hotel as it looked like a cool historical building. When we got there we were greeted by outstanding staff and a glass of complementary Sherry. "Nikki" gave us a tour and then we went into the bar area and ordered a light supper. Into our rooms which were large and settled in for the night. The place is an 1800's building with a lot of history that they will tell you when you about when you get here. Great place to stay!

Enjoying a delightful night here tonight. We arrived a little later in the day than we'd hoped, but the staff were friendly, and booked us in quickly enough to make the end of supper before service finished. One of the staff (Nikky) went above and beyond in giving us a short tour and explanation of some of the history of the property. The room we're in has a King Sized Bed, which is rather comfy, and the bathroom is very spacious with a separate tub and walk in shower. Should I be traveling here again, I will be back.

Lovely countryside hotel 15' from the train station by taxi. Like upmarket nostalgic Scottish style, including feeling of an old mansion house complete with antlers, dark wood panelling everywhere, ubiquitous thick dark-red carpets, lots of woodland around and prices similar to a ~3-star hotel in London? This is for you!

Very nice hotel. Staff were helpful and unobtrusive; they were there just when you needed them. Room was very clean and tidy. Went to a wedding here as well as staying — the wedding was excellent from the food to the service.

Very nice hotel, partly in the years, with lots of charm and nice staff. The rooms are a bit frumpy, but you have everything you need. The bathrooms are very large. In the standard rooms the bed was too small and the entrance to the shower tub was too high. We can handle this, but some older guests will have problems with it. The standard rooms are a bit noisy, which is why we have subsequently booked an upgrade for 10 pounds a night. The new room was very quiet, had both shower as well as tub and a larger bed. The latter is also an advantage in English hotels, as there is almost exclusively only one blanket for double beds, which inevitably heralds a nocturnal struggle for them:-). All in all a good place to book a charming hotel in Aberdeen. Have fun.

Very impressive, well-priced hotel. I was here for a wedding, and was staying overnight. The hall for the wedding was really nice, as was my room but I'd definitely recommend upgrading. Parking is great and location is handy.

Rooms are very spacious and vary in amenities, staff are very helpful and polite. Fantastic views all around. Brilliant place for any function.

There for a wedding reception. Couldn't find where to go in as reception just pointed us out of the building and to the left. Expensive for drinks. Nice decor. Ok.

My husband and I stayed here yesterday. Our visit was a Christmas gift from family and included cream tea, dinner, a bottle of prosecco and breakfast. It certainly didn’t disappoint. Our room was lovely, the staff were great and the food was fantastic. Definitely at the top of my favourite list.

One of the best run hotels in Aberdeen with very comfortable and modern rooms. Food is excellent and at a reasonable price. Certainly the best McDonald Hotel I have stayed in.

I was working as a nanny for a wedding being held at Norwood Hall Hotel. The venue was stunning, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff went the extra mile to make sure everyone was happy and catered for and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Very elegant, comfortable hotel right next door to Robert Gordon University. We started for 3 nights and were delighted especially by the service; really excellent staff. The finest hotel I've stayed in in the region. Would strongly recommend.

The location of the hotel is stunning, lots of scenery and land to take walks around. There is plenty of parking spaces available to those visiting the hotel and staying. The staff who I was greeted by were all very helpful and when I required direction they were more than happy to show me the way rather than just pointing in a general direction. The food is incredible. I had the potato gnocchi and there was nothing to fault.

I have been to Norwood a number of times… and that should tell you how good it is. The staff at Norwood are so helpful and professional. I have been to large and small gatherings and the quality of service is always the same… wonderful.

Really nice hotel, with amazing halls. Rooms are quite large and well equipped. Staff is also nice and friendly.

Very beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. The night manager, Khayyam, was especially helpful and was always friendly, even when dealing with late-night requests.

Really nice old fashioned hotel — a typical MacDonald's. Excellent breakfast; rooms clean and comfortable, but those on the ground floor can get very hot.

Lovely Hotel I photograph weddings there regulaurly, the décor is old fashioned and the staff are nice and helpful. I eat at the bar and though there's not a lot of choice in meals, the food tastes fantastic. Meals & drinks are expensive though but you won't be disappointed… Highly recommend for a quiet night with the wife just leave the kids at home.

We attended a wedding reception at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and efficient with their set up. The grounds looked lovely, but it was unfortunately raining so we couldn't make use of them. The food was amazing, and the service between the courses was seamless. I'd highly recommend it as a guest of the event.

The food was excellent! The rooms were really well presented and the bed very comfortable. The shower was a little short on power. Staff were polite and helpful. I was attending a professional event. The facilities provided us with everything we needed.

Lovely hotel and beautifully decorated. Here for a wedding which was done wonderfully! A few members of staff were not very friendly, not the service you would expect from such an establishment.

Whilst the general area of the hotel is good the quality of the budget rooms is poor and a Travel Lodge which has seen a few years of service would be better. Having told the front desk my sink didn't drain and the plug didn't work all they did was put the pop up plug back in, the cobwebs and dead spiders on the windows were also ignored. If I wasn't forced to stop here for work I'd be somewhere else especially when a pint of shandy costs £4.50. A sad state for a venue which appears to have such good standards in the public areas.

Attended for a conference/training meeting. Very nice atmosphere. Catering was nice but one poor guy had to do it all him self so more staff might have helped.

Conference room was decently sized and supplied all required services.

It was very luxurious and it had really good service. But the toilet stack a lot and could do better on toilet hygiene and the beds oh the neds are so comfortable I just sunk on to the mates and just to tell you the TV bed and thier food is a killer relaxer it's so good I just can't tell how good it is but again the toilet hygiene was poor.

. In our visit to Scotland, half choice for honeymooners, we stumbled across this villa patrizia.

The only good thing is the photograph that is inserted in the pages of internet sites that advertise! the room was really small and lacked the minimum amenities you would expect for the cost of the stay. Among other things the bathroom inside the room, really tight, had damaged the Jakes continued to dispense water unless manually locked. Nothing is served to signal the malfunction, so we wrote a letter, and although there had been guaranteed a reply by mail, after months, we're still waiting for the answer. Then we strongly advise against.
