We loved our stay here. The rooms are very tiny but as a couple we made due. We enjoyed the cheese bar in the afternoon. They held our bags for us which was very helpful and you can drink all night, you just have to take it to your room. Customer service was great!

Really enjoyed our stay, room was very smart and modern. Hotel was in an excellent spot in Glasgow and the multi story car park was a 2 min walk from the hotel. Shower head was faulty on arrival but having told the reception staff it was replaced straight away. Staff right through were very nice and will definitely come back to stay at the z hotel when we visit Glasgow again.

Room was nice, staff were friendly. Rooms were however far too warm as windows cannot open. Also left my gold ring and makeup bag in the room but the receptionist told me nothing has been found. I think maybe the hotel should be talking and following up their cleaning staff as it is a bit strange how two of my missing items have not been found.

Great place! If you're arriving between 5-8pm on a weekday hit the FREE cheese and wine buffet, and hit it hard! Might be better going early as it was packed by 6:30pm. I decided to go for the room without a window and it wasn't as weird as I thought it would be. Bigger, cheaper and quieter than a room with a window.

Rooms are always very comfortable but small but we like that. Cosy room and bed warm rooms and great shower. Our no1 choice if we can get at reasonable price when in Glasgow. Fab location right at George square! Staff very helpful. What's not to like. Great nights sleep too.

Great boutique hotel. Rooms are functional. Bathroom facilities fantastic. Added bonus is Sky Sports and films. Lovely helpful staff. Superb location for central Glasgow. Reasonably priced and you can get some bargains.

Such a lovely hotel. Staff were all so helpful and friendly, and they offer complimentary drinks and cheese! Perfect location too. Will definitely go back!

Staff are amazing. I stay there every week as I work in Glasgow. The facilities and friendliness off staff top any hotel I have stayed in.

First time staying at the hotel an loved it. The room was compact, but we were only staying the night and were out for dinner so it was fit for purpose. Bed comfy, nice bathroom area. Complimentary tea and coffee in room and a bottle of water was a nice touch. The hotel offers a FREE wine and cheese reception 5pm-8pm for guests! It was lovely, as well as cheese there were crackers etc to accompany some grapes and some chocolate. The breakfast was also exceptional and at only £10 for all you can eat buffet with unlimited tea/coffee/juice. If you wanted something hot they will cook you that as well so we both had a bacon roll before tucking into breads with meat and cheese, croissants and fruit. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again. Just around the corner from the train station as well!

Central and new modern rooms. Small, but tasty design. I liked the kardeen floor in room so much, that I'm looking for the same in our lounge.

Amazing budget hotel that feels like a japanese pod. Added bonus of wine and cheese tasting for 3 hours each day… FREE! WOW.

One-night crash for the TRNSMT festival, namely to see Radiohead. Comfy bed, good coffee, shower worked fine, really appealing contemporary design, clean linen and towels etc. Friendly and helpful staff! All in all, can't go wrong in staying here during your time in Glasgow. Will use again in the future ^. ^

Modern, welcoming (free wine and cheese in evenings), right in city centre. Also very friendly, multi-lingual and helpful staff make this charming hotel an ideal base in Glasgow. I loved it.

Terrific value hotel rooms. Compact and efficiently designed rooms with contemporary decor. Good firm bed, nice specifications in the bathroom. Definitely stay here again.

It's a good place in a good zone. Very close to the city central. I can say 'I love Glasgow' and this city it's a combination between classic and modern. And about Z Hotel, was a really pleasure to spend the time in that hotel.

Urban hotel with a spare, contemporary design in central location. Rooms are small but comfortable. Friendly, efficient staff who multitask front desk duties, serve at the bar and prepare breakfast and all day light bites. Recommended.

Awesome location and great service. We even got complimentary wine and cheese in the evening. The room we ordered was way too small — it wasn't expensive but still you don't expect such a tiny room.

Cheap and cheerful for a stay in the city. Rooms have glass cubicles in the corner for your toilet and shower. Problem for some but doesn't bother me. Free cheese and wine. Bonus.

Glasgow at it's best … You probably can't live more centrally and the service desert of Germany should participate from this small, absolute secret tip … From the cleaning lady to the hotel management, all wishes were read from the mouth. What is offered in the hotel in culinary terms (cheese buffet, continental breakfast, etc. ) is a successful link between traditional food and conventionally delicious … We have for an extended WE 35, —-/Pers. /night paid for and with a cheap Ryan Air flight, this is the optimum of a short trip … The rooms I look rather quaint, with a glass-clad instyle shower, than the titled "purposeful … " A mini-critical point would be the toilet, which is also internal, even separated only by a glass pane, which does not imply a large sound absorption;) ) ) … All in all … Anytime, super happy WIEDER.

Excellent boutique hotel right in the centre of town. I had a room without a window but it was so well designed and lit that it was extremely comfortable and cosy. Z Hotels have thought of every little detail to ensure a great stay.

Service at The Z Hotel was so friendly and genuine. The decor is very tasteful and modern throughout, with fantastic amenities. I loved the breakfast spread and evening cheese & wine buffet.

I love the way we can reclaim old buildings and give them a new life. This old print works has made a wonderful transition into a hotel. Great central location. A moments walk from Queen Street station. Nice touch with cheese and wine on arrival. Clean comfortable and quiet. You need not be shy if you share your room. An interesting glass bathroom sits in a snug double.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Clean and only minutes away from the centre. Enjoyed the idea of wine and cheese every night before we went out to eat.

Nice little hotel close to city center and the Queen Street train station. We got a queen bed inside room, but we're upgraded to a room with a window — we were thankful for this! The bathroom setup is kind of different — with the walls only being made of fogged glass so there isn't a ton of privacy. However, the bed and pillows are decent, the staff is friendly, and they have a complementary wine/cheese happy hour in the evening. All in all, the stay was worth it, and we'd definitely return.

Perfect location with great extras! The wine and cheese at night was a very nice touch, as was the cafe in the lobby where you can sit and work. The location couldn't be better and the staff is very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable! The rooms are VERY small and leave little to the imagination when it comes to the bathroom, which is semi-translucent glass and right next to the bed. I would not stay here if you value your bathroom privacy!

We stayed on the 4th floor (their top floor). Our room was quaint, clean, and nice. The rooms were about 150sq feet (roughly 14 square meters). While it's not the biggest room, the layout is very smart. And our room felt sleek and modern. They offered a breakfast at an additional rate. The hotel staff was very nice! They hosted a wine and cheese hour, and they had great selection. They gave guests one complimentary glass of wine. The location of the hotel was great! The city is very walkable, and this hotel was near all of the locations we were looking to visit while on our vacation. It was also very close to the Queen St. Rail station. I would definitely stay at this location again. I'd also be happy to consider other z hotel locations if they are consistently this good.

We stayed here 4 nights and it was perfect. All of the staff was incredible and so helpful. We love the free wine and cheese from 5-8, of course. And this location is impeccable to explore Glasgow! It's right off George Square and close the St. Mung Cathedral and Necropolis, and the subway or Scotrail (seriously both are around the corner! ) Definitely stay here!

Great modern hotel. Only thing I didn't like was the bathroom having only a glass wall (frost glass but still a weird feeling when sharing the room)

I just did my first gratitude meditation with Jacque… I didn't know what to expect, I've only ever done shorter five minute meditations… but I felt that with Jacque… (in comparison to other guided meditations I've done) Her voice seemed to nudge me rather than distract me… it seemed like she was there with me throughout… but at the same time I felt like I was in my own bubble… half an hour of stillness in a busy city… I loved it… The sun feels that wee bit warmer on my face today… I will be back.

Really enjoyed staying here. Had a single room. It's pretty small but it has everything you need and let's face it. You don't really want to be sat inside in Glasgow anyways. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was brilliant too. Highly recommend and will be staying again.

We had in internal room. It was too small, noisy. More like a hostel than a hotel.

Bijou but perfect location. Very warm welcome, clean and tidy. Free cheese buffet with wine or beer each evening. Brilliant!

I took my first meditation class today and it was with Jacque. The room is lovely, with candles burning and a very relaxing atmosphere but it was Jacque's calm presence and voice that had me managing to switch my mind off and just be in the moment — not something that I find easy to do! So I will definitely be back — what a fabulous way to spend a lunch hour, going back to work feeling more positive and relaxed.

I booked in for a Saturday doubler, Meditation and Vinyasa, to lift me out of my February funk and oh my goodness, it did just that and then some. I was so relaxed after the meditation that I felt like I was floating and the endorphin rush after the yoga class lasted well into Sunday. As a yoga beginner, I was really well looked after and given all the help and encouragement I needed. Lovely bunch of people, lovely space, great fun and gorgeous energy. Can't wait to come back for another session and really couldn't recommend Kyle and the Zen Den team highly enough.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough for your next trip to Scotland. The lovely staff take care of your every need and even provide a free cheese and wine session each evening. The rooms are clean, modern and reasonably priced. The best feature though is the location. It really doesn't get any better than this.

Good value, decent room for one or two nights for single room with no window.

We stayed there for one night only, on July 10, 2015, and was one of the best hotels we were! the staff was outstanding! ever seen a team like that! attentive, friendly and very helpful!
They also offer a glass of house wine with a selection of fresh daily from 17.00 at 20.00 … simply delicious! Hotel very clean and well equipped room!

Very compact room with no window however very well equipped, modern and comfortable.

Brand new, small but excellent value for money. Great location, very centrally located to everything and the staff were really friendly and helpful. A few small issues with the room but again it can't be beaten on price.
