I had my special day on the 17th of September 2022… and I can not recommend the boclair House Hotel highly enough… they made my special day run so smoothly, nothing was a problem they sorted everything. The staff on duty were fantastic… I wish I could do it all over again … it really was a dream come true. Thank you to all the staff you were amazing ❤️

What a fabulous day celebrating my grand-daughters wedding. Everything so organised the food was wonderful. Room for overnight stay was beautiful can recommend the venue.

We had our wedding reception on 01/4/22. We can’t thank you all enough for the hard work and dedication. We felt so lucky to be able to have this as our venue. It couldn’t have been any more perfect for us. The staff were amazing, not just on the day but on the lead up, anything I asked or wanted was just never any trouble. We had to postpone twice and they couldn’t have been anymore reassuring throughout. Nothing changed and the moves to our new dates were never any stress because they made it so easy. The staff are a credit and were amazing on the day. Thanks to kirsty for coordinating our day. We appreciated everything you all did for us. The venue is stunning and the food was amazing. Everyone loved it all. Thanks again to all of your staff who worked on our wedding day. We wanted to wait for our professional pictures to write this review 🤍 they show off the venue beautifully.

My new wife and I had our wedding here recently and I cannot stress how flawless it went. Julie and her team were incredible throughout and I think they're attention to detail is worthy of a review. The place was beautifully presented throughout and nothing was an issue. For anyone looking to book a wedding, I cannot reccomend here enough.

We had our wedding here on the 20th Feb, the venue is absolutely stunning, the staff were fantastic from the moment we booked our date, no request was too much, communication was great and they kept in regular touch through the whole process, the day ran perfectly and we couldn't have asked for anything more, the DJ, cake and flower providers were also amazing and I had a great time selecting what I wanted, the day really was the best day of our lives and we will remember it forever ❤ Siobhan & Alan.

WOW! What can I say! We had the most amazing wedding day at Boclair House, everything ran so smoothly and the staff are just AMAZING. From arriving at the venue to the very end of the night the staff were so attentive. Lyndsay seen us through our meetings prior to the wedding and answered any question we may have had on the lead up today along with Lucy, want to thank you both so much for this, I really had a stress free experience. On the day Kyra made sure everything ran on time, she is so friendly and fun! Thank you so much you are such a helpful lovely person. Our master of ceremony was so nice too, thank you for all your help and my cocktail with my dinner! David the DJ is so good, he called us prior to our day to discuss what we wanted, I did request no slosh ha-ha but this was overturn by requests from the guests and Ross the bartender teaching my husband the dance, so all is forgiven as it was so much fun. The dance floor was full and that all we could have asked for. All the waiters, waitresses and bar staff were amazing and I want to thank you all for making our day so fab and so stress free. Special mention to Ross! If we could do the day all again we would, Jo Hin and me had so much fun, the venue is stunning the rooms are so beautiful. A million thank you for our perfect day.

We had our wedding at Boclair house 28/09/2021 and what a fantastic day it was. We were overwhelmed at the service we received from the staff it was first class. The staff helped to make our wedding day so special. From the minute I arrived at the venue the staff were very supportive and couldn’t do enough for me. The guests all said that their rooms were fantastic, the honeymoon suite was amazing. David the DJ played great music all night and everyone had an amazing time. A huge thank you to all the hard working staff that gave us a day to remember for ever.

We had our wedding at Boclair House earlier this week and it was better than I could have imagined. Boclair have stuck with us through multiple postponements during COVID — with clear communication and quick response times.

We had our wedding at Boclair house at the weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff ; Julie, Lindsay, Lucy and Brandon were excelllent. The staff were so courteous, hardworking and professional. Despite some Covid restrictions everything went like clockwork!
I would recommend Boclair hotel as a wonderful wedding venue as it is absolutely beautiful.

Thank you to Boclair House Hotel staff for an awesome 5 star service. Our overnight was the most memorable time for my daughters birthday celebrations. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The suite rooms were beautiful and private dining for breakfast was first class considering difficult times of Covid. This did not stop us from having the best time ever. Huge thanks and can not wait to be back. See you all soon. Thank you.

Our wedding is booked here for next year. We booked an overnight stay for our anniversary. From the moment we booked we’ve received a 5 star service. The girls at boclair upgraded us to the honeymoon suite, provided prosecco, desserts & chocolates within the Arran suite without any extra charge. Both me & my fiancé appreciate it very much. Thanks for an amazing stay.

By refunding money they didn't have to spend to brides who don't want to postpone their wedding for reasonable reasons. This hotel management has no humanity and is fronting a public face that belies the hurt they have chosen to inflict on folk who had bookings cancelled because of Covid 19. No effort made to negotiate or compromise in these hard times. They didn't provide meals, service or rooms etc and are sticking to terms and conditions no matter what. Other companies have shown a much kinder, more reasonable side in these difficult times. They are hanging onto thousands of pounds and a government grant, leaving those who don't want to postpone seriously out of pocket. Monsters.

Cancelled (postponed) room due to current circumstances — offered no refund. Refused to let me contact head office. Terrible service I'm sure the location is nice. I would advise deposits only. Get nothing back even if they cancel on you.

Were at a wedding & everything was just perfect. Great location, lovely building, would highly recommend.

Stunning venue, good food and great cocktails.

After sitting down for Christmas dinner, we waited 45 minutes just for water, drinks service non existent, no Prosecco & canapés which were paid for, no cutlery, wrong starters, overcooked starters, missing items on main courses, wrong desserts, awful service. Probably the worst Christmas dinner experience we’ve had. Definitely not worth £80 a head just for the food.

My husband and I just got married at Boclair House. Our families stayed from Thursday — Monday. Our wedding was made perfect by the amazing staff at Boclair. They are extremely friendly, attentive and professional. They went over and above to give us a 5 star service. Evelyn the house keeping lady was the nicest, welcoming woman I’ve ever had at a hotel. It was a joy to get to know her. The staff were amazing from day one right up until we left. Anything we needed or wanted was done instantly. Julie, Catrina, Lucy, Amy, Graham, Brendan were all fantastic and really stood out to us with their service. Very nice people which make up a fantastic team. Gary our wedding coordinator could not have done more for us. He is literally the most professional, kindest, genuine person I’ve ever come across working in the service industry. He made such an impact on our day. Everything ran smoothly with Gary running the logistics of the wedding. He called our cake supplier to come back and fix our cake that was leaning over ever so slightly as he wanted everything to be perfect. He organised a fantastic dinner the night before and catered to our families dietary restrictions, he gave my husband and I a bottle of wine on the house for us to celebrate pre wedding which was an amazing touch. The service this man gave was amazing. I could not speak any highly of him. We loved working with Gary and both my husband and I completely trusted leaving everything in his hands.

Fabulous staff, rooms are all beautiful. We are here for a wedding and it looks magical x.

The amazing staff at Boclair helped to make our wedding day everything we imagined and more ☺️ Jennifer, our wedding co-ordinator, was so professional and her attention to detail made sure that both the build up and the day ran smoothly! The service throughout the day was incredible and all of the staff went above and beyond with their little touches which just made the weekend ✨ The meals were delicious and the chefs were so understanding of the various dietary requirements! Lovely wedding, amazing staff.

We got married here on Saturday and had the most amazing day from start to finish. The building and grounds were absolutely stunning, the food was incredible and all of my guests really enjoyed their day.
The staff were all lovely but particularly Andrew, our Master of Ceremonies who was so helpful and made me feel completely at ease from the minute I arrived (I was very nervous! )
The day was everything I’d hoped for and more and went better than I could ever have imagined, so thank you — с Andy Perry.

Delivered a wedding cake here, all the staff seem well organised and on the ball. All really polite and helpful. Hope I have more opportunities to visit as this house is stunning.

I was there for a wedding and I can honestly say this hotel is superb. Rooms are amazing, beds were so comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful. I'm dairy free and received the wrong desert by accident and it was quickly and apologectically whipped away by the waitress who had served my other courses (which were delicious) and replaced by an amazing bowl of fresh fruit. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We had our Wedding Day at Boclair on Friday 6th July and it was the most perfect day we could have ever wished for. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how delicious the food was between the meal, canapés, and various buffets provided. The service was excellent and every request was met without question. Steven regularly checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we were happy with everything and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Victoria, our wedding planner was wonderful and worked with Steven to make sure our day ran smoothly. Our guests were blown away with the rooms and everyone commented on what an amazing day it was. We cannot thank Boclair enough for making our special day so incredible. Thank you.

Amazing venue! Did an all day training there with my group and could not have been happier. Quite possibly the nicest bathroom I have ever been in!

Booked in for Sunday lunch for a joint birthday/Father's Day celebration and had such a wonderful time. We were looked after Lucy who couldn't have been more friendly and attentive to our table. Meal was amazing! In particular the goats cheese & beetroot starter looked & tasted wonderful and the roast beef was without doubt the best roast I've had! A great experience from start (the courtesy call yesterday to confirm my reservation & any additional needs) to finish. Thanks to Lucy and everyone else for ensuring we had a great celebratory meal out.

I cannot thank them all enough for everything they done on the day for us and even after the wedding when we didn't want to stop partying they let us sit in Annabel bar carry on the celebrations without any issues at all. Honestly every request was met without question. Every question was answered and despite us having a few issues along the way before the wedding after speaking to Fawn at our final meeting I feel everything changed for us and for this I would recommend Boclair house to anyone. Thank you all again for an incredible day! We have had every single one of our guests tell us how amazing it was and how great the staff was!

Beautiful venue but the seating arrangement for the ceremony wasn't great neither was the time it took to turn the room around for the meal and then again for the reception. Too many chiefs springs to mind. Food was lovely.

What a lovely place to stay the staff were more than helpful and so friendly and the place was so beautiful, the rooms were out of this world, the breakfast and the Meals were fantastic, staying for a wedding and they made the event so memorable it was just so amazing, would love to come back one day, I would give this place 5 stars as I loved everything and the room I stayed in was just so amazing I just loved it.

We were really disappointed when we came for Christmas dinner in December 2017. At £85 a head, this was a complete rip off for what we received. This hotel is beautiful inside but the operations and management of this hotel are seriously lacking. Firstly, it wasn't explained at the time of booking Christmas dinner that there were two places to eat — the main function area and Annabelle's restaurant. I was just given times to choose from. I booked 4pm. When we arrived we were taken into Annabelle's restaurant and only then were we told that the 2pm sitting was in the main function area, which looked much more lively. Annabelle's restaurant had little atmosphere. We were sat at a table which had a wonky leg and the service wasn't great there either. My mum had to argue with the waitress who said that we couldn't move into the main function area as this was for people who were eating at 2pm and if we moved through everyone else would be finished their meals. This was quite unpleasant as the waitress was really argumentative with us. She then went and spoke to the manager who agreed to move us through to the function area. We then sat and waited while the decorations, menus, etc. Were swiped off our table to dress our new table in the function area. Once seated in the function area, this was much better as it had a nicer atmosphere, nicer table and entertainment. At this point though, everyone else was being served their main courses.

Coffee wishy washy. No service what so ever even though I was the only one there. The waitress spent her time looking out the window. Then the scone came when the coffee was almost done. It was a plain scone as I wasn’t asked which I preferred. Cut the hot scone and it was really cold inside. Although I asked to read a menu still have not received it. Not to be recommended. Now given up.

Well what can I say about boclair house, it is such a beautiful place and the rooms are all so unique & perfect. We have now attended boclair every year on the countdown to our wedding and every time the food has been delicious and standard of service was great. The minute we came to view boclair house with the family we knew it was a very special place and was second to none, instantly we knew our wedding just had to be here. We are now patiently counting down the days so we can make more amazing memories and share the beauty of boclair house with all our loved ones.

Food and service were excellent. Boclair House is helpfully located close to train and bus links and has ample parking. The bar/restaurant is tastefully decorated in a comfortable lounge style with dark wood and bookcases. Servers are attentive and service was quick. Prices are reasonable for the target market. Bit of quibbling when it came to using gift vouchers so probably best to avoid gift vouchers here.

We stayed in the Arran suite, which was beautiful. Everything about the room was just perfect and the large bed was so comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious with fabulous cocktails at the bar, and an amazing room service breakfast in the morning. We loved being here and the staff were just lovely, hopefully we will be back and maybe for new year.

I booked Sunday Lunch yesterday for my wife's birthday. We have been threatening to try Boclair House since its opening last year. So yesterday seemed like as good a time as any.
I booked a table for 3 people (2adults and 1 child). On arrival I was somewhat surprised to find that the dining area is the same area that you would sit to have a casual drink or afternoon tea. It just doesn't seem right to sit down for lunch next to tables of people out for afternoon tea. This doesn't seem very well thought out and doesn't provide the atmosphere that one would expect in a dining area.
We were shown to our table, I hung up my own coat before hanging my wife's coat on the coat stand. A minor detail, however set the tone of the afternoon. The menu was given to us and we enquired about a half portion main course for my daughter, this was no problem. We ordered some drinks and when ready they were delivered to the table. We then placed our food order, 1 Pate & 1 Black Pudding, 2 Roast Beef & 1 half portion roast beef.
The menus then sat on our table for a further 10 minutes as no one remembered to take them away, even 2 or 3 staff walking by the table several times didn't see them. They were eventually lifted.
The pate dish was excellent, even the oatcakes had been warmed. The black pudding dish was served on a cold, water marked plate which unfortunately meant the the dish was look warm to cold when it arrived at the table.

Superb wedding venue. Brilliant staff and the food is excellent.

Extremely pleased with the staff. However reservation was not followed through correctly. When I booked the afternoon tea I specified that there was to be NO pork. When we arrived I reconfirmed this and I was told it was in hand. Guess what there was HAM sandwiches in the afternoon tea! I didn't complain as I didn't want to start our special day off with moaning. (My husband and I had a full day ahead planned). It would be nice if we could have an explanation please! The high marks given are for the venue and waiting staff being attentive.

Truly fantastic hotel stay — was taken for my 40th birthday and stayed in the Arran Suite. Well appointed, great attention to detail with great service in the restaurant at night from Kirsty. Superb food with quality produce and then great bar service we truly had a fabulous experience.

Nice venue but food very disappointing for the price paid — extremely poor value.

Firstly… my wife received a gift voucher for Xmas and very shortly afterwards was diagnosed with cancer and immediately commenced her treatment. We wrote to boclair house/manor view to explain our situation and ask the voucher be extended 6wks to accommodate her treatment. Response… NO! For accounting reasons?!?! And their final words were "sorry your disappointed" Lack of class, compassion and humanity. Disgusting! Secondly… afternoon tea was over priced and average at best. Service was slow too.

Nightmare to get to. Looked nice from outside, was casual inside, not much room in main hall. Drinks reasonably priced. Sat outside most of night due to the heat inside. Not much of a view.

Pricey but the many little touches shine through. Very smart and attentive well trained staff in abundance. Well thought out decor. Certainly a decent place. Even the toilets are sparkling and nicely decorated.

Rooms are marvelous to say the least, and the staff were extremely mannerly. The only downfall is the slow food service.

Super lovely wedding venue. Or just a fancy hotel or coffee spot if you prefer.

Fantastic hotel and great value. Made for a very good night before starting the West Highland Way, just one stop away from the nearby Hillfoot station.

Had a Birthday Dinner here! The hotel is GORGEOUS. The food was amazing and the service was great. Never seen such fancy toilets man.
