Shocking cheeky staff with absolute no customer service skills. Removed from our hotel room at 2am in the morning because the music was to loud (no warnings about this or even given a chance to turn it down) the man then said that it was due to smell of smoke. But wouldn’t come in the hotel room to check this (We were leaving the hotel to smoke at the main door which he saw) but yet just stormed away like a jobsworth child. He was also well aware we travelled from Dundee and had no where else to stay so after searching several hotels in the area that were fully booked we had to sleep in the car until driving home this morning. NO refund no part refund and no sense of basic human skills.

Absolutely wonderful staff from checking in to checking out, above and beyond brilliant hotel x x x.

Nice hotel very modern and comfortable, room was lovely and clean and bed was comfortable I slept great staff very professional and courteous breakfast was perfect too.

Son of 17 turned away from hotel as not yet reached 18. Has had to pay adult fares since age 16 yet not considered old enough to stay in a hotel already paid for? Disgusted with response from hotel who left son to wander the streets in a strange area with no mention of an apology or any assistance offered. Will never use holiday inn again.

We found our hotel room very nice & clean. Front desk help was excellent & friendly. They even had a fan in the room for me!

Excellent hotel for getting around most of Glasgow and central location. Also it’s great having a super market and Nando’s next door.

Reception staff were very helpful when me and my family stayed last weekend, and after I had a nasty fall outside and had to come back to the hotel instead of going to a party with my hubby and kids, the staff were very kind and accommodating to me, even passing me hankies as I embarrassingly cried at reception to helping me patch up my bleeding leg, lovely girls and would highly recommend, please pass on my thanks again to the two lovely ladies on reception. X.

Newer type of HI express. No frills rooms that are spotlessly clean. Possibly the friendliest and most helpful staff of any HI. Breakfast basic but good quality.

There is no air conditioner, our room key was not working 3 times but the staff was very nice and solved it. The breakfast had limited options and the was overripe and black. The beds were nice and the bathroom was pretty good. The room came with a iron/press which was nice.

Clean, tidy great nights rest. Right next to cinema, asda, food places and a short walk up to bus station or train. Staff are very helpful made my stay with my two children easier. Thank u.

Great spot. Rugby tour with fifty 8 to 10 year old boys. Rooms very comfortable and buffet breakfast top notch. Large bright front reception seating area. Definitely go back.

Nice hotel ideal stop off point on long motorway drive. Very clean, efficient service, as expected from a large organisation.

Beautifull and very bery clean. Staff were excellent. The only 1 thing I would say is the bed so HARD n very uncomfortable n pillows same.

This isn't an expensive hotel but you get a good room for the money. The breakfast isn't anything special though, and it really isn't very good for vegetarians.

Booked a room. Have a reservation email. Got a taxi to take us to the hotel. The front desk assistant (Andy) said we had no reservation. Advised I phoned the booking line and have reservation with Amy. He said no Amy works there (knowing fine well that bookings go through the call centre and not the hotel). I asked if my wife and I could come in to show him the reservation and explain as it was freezing cold and he was having us talk through the phone line. He said no. I phoned head office who confirmed a booking but needed to speak to the person at the desk and he wouldn't speak to them on my phone or answer their call. I then got through to someone and they said the person at the front desk told you there was no room. So we phoned to check availability, was told there was, gave my card details to reserve, got a confirmation email, travelled to the hotel only to stand in the freezing cold for a long time and then have to leave and try to find somewhere to stay in the middle of the night because of incompetence and terrible service. Disgusting.

Very pleasant stay. Hotel clean and modern, well located for shops, restaurants and close to the motorway. Definitely better than the sister hotel at junction 5

Helpful welcoming staff, great room, super king-size bed, excellent shower and lovely soft towels — all added to a very comfortable stay with no hassle parking.

Nice facilities, didn't stay over night-rather I attended a first aid course for a day.

Very modern hotel, contemporary rooms, central location to Glasgow and airport, two minutes off motorway. Car park in shopping complex next door, safe and secure. Excellent breakfast included in room rate. Would rate 9 out of ten.

Solid HIE property. Rooms are typical European small, without air conditioning. Beds are comfortable and Wi-Fi is decently fast. Friendly staff, though they did forget to replace the towels one day. No cinnamon rolls at breakfast.

Had a fab time. The hotel was very clean and has everything we needed for our stay. The best part of the hotel was the staff, helpful, polite and chatty. They advised us and answered every question we asked. Well done guys.

Convenient location with recently refurbished room and friendly staff. Had booking which included dinner so was pleased to be offered Pizza Hut or Frankie & Bennys as options. Great breakfast too. Will happily return when next in the area.

My first time in the express version on the holiday in chain. While missing some of the refinements I'm used to such as a more relaxing and stylish bar area and restaurant it is a perfectly acceptably hotel which is well placed for my needs in the area and with a good selection of restaurants just outside. I was pleased with the no nonsense straight in and out breakfast so I can get right on with my day.

We were just passing by and needed a place to stay and we were lucky enough to get a room. A little more than what I wanted to pay however it was a great clean room and the breakfast was great! Staff very helpful and friendly. Who knows when we will be back as Canada is a ways away, and this trip is just an adventure! One day perhaps!

Awful. Absolutely no close disabled parking. Down in a parking lot with about 20 steps to the front door, making wheelchair users must go to a ramp located several hundred yards away. Manager offered to let us park in the drop off/emergency layby outside the hotel but I had a truck and want comfortable with that being that it is right on a roundabout. Then they gave me a hard time about canceling my reservation, but if my Mom can't get in the building then how can they possibly say they are disabled friendly. Can't say how the actual hotel itself is, probably good, but if you are in any way disabled don't even waste your time staying here.

Modern clean and good location for town and shops with cinema and asda on door step but not intrusive. Nice rooms but avoid road side if you like to have window open at night due to traffic noise. Fine with window closed but no air reconditioning. Breakfast included and always plenty and of fair quality and selection. Staff friendly and always available at reception.

Great hotel for an overnight stay. Nice clean rooms and bathrooms. Beds comfortable and plenty of electrical sockets for mobiles and tablets. Good breakfast with a small selection for cooked but more than sufficient. Very friendly staff.

Propreter sure but no air conditioning the room its hot and very small in the outdoor access corridores is bad locate. There is a lunch but better than nothing!

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. My. Only complaint would be that I had my son with me and there was no sofa bed made up or towels etc for him but after going downstairs and speaking to reception they got me a quilt and pillows for the sofa bed straight away still no towels though apart from that it was clean and had everything we needed including a great breakfast would definitely stay again. Management should be proud of there staff here.

Hotel Parking to go around in a circle, The hotel side of the Chinese mission to the dinner to eat, a hotel, a 24-hour free Wi-Fi, overall not bad, there's a large supermarket, open 24 hours, very convenient for them…

Just been on a 3 day first aid training course in the hotel and have received a parking fine of £40 and if I dont pay in 14 days it goes up to £70. I put my details in the computer at the front desk. When I contacted the hotel they simply told me they have nothing to do with the car park and I should just pay. Not helpfull at all. I will be letting our company know because we were planning on using the hotel for future training.

This is a really basic hotel and it wouldn't be my first choice of place to stay, but it's good for a cheap stopover if you happen to be in the area. Free Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast are handy little extras and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed with here with a group of family, including some very young children. We found there were a lot of families staying here, so we didn't feel too bad about ours making noise/crying! There are restaurants and shops all withing walking distance, but if you're planning on eating out here on the weekends, I'd advise you ring up and if you can, book in advance. We tried a few of the restaurants at around 6.30pm on a Saturday and found the waiting times for a table were up to an hour.

New hotel with all the usual fittings. Food is poor, breakfast basic. Boy racers keep you up all night if you get a room facing the road.
