Nice location on a 10 minute walk from the centre. The view from this street is amazing. It is close to the port for a visit to Staffa, mul and Iona.

Friendly, helpful owner, nice room, clean, spacious, good shower — great value! — highly recommend!

Just spent 3 nights there… loved it! A decent walk to town center, very comfortable, lovely hosts, delicious breakfasts.

Good for stop over for Oban and very near ferry for Mull. Room clean and well equipped.

A very friendly couple, lovely clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. What more can anyone want and all within walking distance of Oban, the station and the ferry terminal.

This place was precious! About a 10 minute walk to/from town (partly up/down a hill) or a 5 pound taxi ride. The hosts/owners were wonderful and the breakfast they made was spectacular! It was neat… you 'order' what you would like for breakfast the night before. Our room was very comfortable with an en suite and little touches like sweets, a carafe of drinking water, tea and an electric kettle were appreciated. We will definitely stay here again! Just a few minute walk up the hill from Don Muir is a spectacular view of town (see pictures).

We stayed only one night in Don Muir. It was perfect! The best place in which I stayed in Scotland. The room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was yummy (several options : scottish/continental). The owner were great, very helpful. The guesthouse was only 10min walking to the city center. Would recommend without any hesitations.

Travelled to Oban for just one night, Don Muir was a very welcome stop. Bedroom was spotlesslly clean, bed comfortable, bathroom great. Breakfast and hosts, equally great. Thank you.

We had a very good welcome. And the B&B was spot on.

Worst part was finding the place! Great room, clean and functional, wonderful breakfast and friendly+helpful host! Wifi was spotty though she did warn us that might be the case in our room (1).

It was my first visit in Oban and just for one night. Read many reviews of different places to stay and Don Muir was one of the best rated but also cheapest accommodations in Oban. When we arrived warm welcome awaited us and Caroline took us to our room (No. 4) which was lovely family room, even though it was jut 2 of us. Caroline explained everything we needed to know about our stay (heating, breakfast and other stuff) and showed pretty much everything worth a visit on a map. Room was perfectly clean, had everything we needed and bed was very comfy. Breakfast was just perfect! There isn't a thing I would fault. If I come back to Oban, Don Muir is my choice :)

Best place to stay while your in Oban very Friendly clean and not far fron the Town Center looked after us very well indeed will look forwards to returning later in the year.

So far an excellent impression a lovely welcome on arrival with some great advice.

Just home from a brilliant stay with yourselves in Oban. If we ever come back we will definitely stay again. Could not fault anything and the breakfasts were the best.
