Had a meal in the Seafood Bar. Three of us had the "whole Loch Crinan jumbo prawns" (langoustines) with aoli and chips and all thought it was sensational. Another in our party had the seafood stew and was similarly delighted. Service was great, and of course the setting cannot be beaten. Highly recommended.

Brilliant warm cosy seafood pub, mixture of locals and visitors, friendly staff… Dog friendly, amazing food, and a great selection of drinks.

We drove from Glasgow for fathers day lunch. A beautiful drive, in stunning countryside was matched, if not bettered with a visit to the Crinan Hotel We took our son's friend, and both boys were adventurous in their choices. They savoured their first oysters, loved their HUGE Portion of mussels, and pinched a scallop from my partner. Fresh, tasty food, served by friendly staff, in a stunning setting. It's hard to beat locally sourced Scottish seafood, and the hotel didn't disappoint.

My first Scottish ale beer served there. Not easy to reach but a good adventure.

Amazing view from the 3 floor. You can even see dolphins. Sadly overpriced. Rooms didn't changed in last 10 years. Owner really nice to vistors but really mean for their staff.

Excellent location and food. I would recommend the sea food soup.

Only went in for tea & cakes as cafe was closed. But good tea & scones in the bar, although a bit of a wait to be served. Good toilet facilities (however the ladies is up flight of stairs. ) Small gift shop area in the hotel. We did see customers receiving their lunches, all seemed to be very large portions. Hotel is right next to the waterfront, so lovely views.

Food was nice, staff were friendly surroundings feeling a bit aged.

Hotel was quite… grat fell to the place as usual.

We were here for new years eve. The reception was warm and friendly and food was great. I felt the night was let down by the choice of entertainment,

Oh my word… what to say?! If you get the chance and need a really charming, peaceful, high quality getaway, go here. Great service, delicious food, cosy old world charm.

A fantastic gem hidden at the end of the Crinan cannel, with excellent food and great views.

Lovely staff, very welcoming and great menu. Suitable for children in the busy but not hectic seafood bar.

Some of the nicest seafood I've ever had in the seafood bar here. We didn't book, but you probably should to make sure you don't miss out on this one! Staff were very friendly too. The hotel itself looked rather nice too and I'd definitely consider staying there if/when I'm in the area again. Lovely peaceful spot on an early summer's evening.
