I booked a table for Dinner for 9:30, only to turn up at 9:15 to find the restaurant finished serving food at 9 o’clock. So then had to drive around to find something too eat.

Great food and great service.

Highly recommended beautiful big room and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Only a minor moan! I ordered a huge mixed grill which arrived at the table and looked splendid! I asked for some mustard and was told “ We have none! ”

Although I am recommending this hotel, our experience wasn't all positive. Checking in was a nightmare. We booked online for 2 adults and 4 children, we chose 2 rooms (1 adult & 2 kids per room). We booked 2 adult breakfasts, and the 4 children eat free as you get 2 kids eating free per adult. This was all paid online when it was booked.
When we arrived to check in, the lady on the front desk proceeded to tell me that I would just need to pay for the 2 adult breakfasts. I explained that we had already paid, and tried to show her my receipt from my email. We were then told that we hadn't booked 1 adult & 2 kids per room, and that 2 adults were booked into 1 room with 1 child, which didn't make sense at all, because you can't book 3 children into a room on their own. The entire situation was made out to be our fault. She then had to refund me for one breakfast (which will take a few days) and I had to pay for breakfast again.

We've been coming here twice a year for the last 9 years, as we attend hospital appointments. Have never had a bad visit to the hotel or restaurant. Staff always helpful, polite and deliver great service.

Lovely clean fresh big rooms, friendly polite helpful staff.

Restaurant service is shockingly slow. I am still waiting for someone to come take my breakfast order almost an hour after I sat down!

Worst Premier I’ve ever been in, bed uncomfortable, pillows hellish and don’t get me started on the restaurant and the service or should I say lack of it, cold food down right rude restaurant manager. Never ever would I stay here again!

Get the boiler fixed so I can get a shower, cold water 3 nights out of 6 is not good enough. I think the vacuum cleaner must have bròken down as well, it's the scruffiest Premier Inn I have been in.

Please help I have been kidnapped By the largest most comfortable hypnos double bed that won't let me go. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean with enough turning circle for my wheelchair. Was disappointed that a company as reputable as Premier in haven't supplied a wet room in their accessible rooms but the bath is low level and had to bring my own bath board. So with it being low level I can slide straight from my chair onto bath board. However premier Inn please do not call them accessible rooms if they are not completely accessible with wet room. Not all people can use a bath board like I can.

Clean rooms, great value for money and breakfast good in morning! Defo recommend anyone who wants a cheap stay but in a clean comfy environment.

Bath water was brown Dirty room, toenails on the floor and rude staff raised problem with water at time, nothing done. Now told it was investigated within 4 hours which is untrue as I was in room all night. Dirty unhealthy place and no resolution from premier inn.

Stayed at the premier inn for the 3rd time but will not be going back. It's gone downhill so much. The family room was very smelly, reported it but no other rooms to change to. Old dirt/dust in and around bathroom. Ground floor window left open by cleaners who were trying to get rid of the smell — luckily nothing taken. Books family room for 4 people only had 2 cups etc so had to ask for extras everyday. Made a complaint which was ignored then told the person who made booking had to complain. My father in law then complained and now rejected even though the issues were raised while we were there. Terrible place and would not recommend to anyone.

Excellent location and the staff were extremely accommodating. I need in early to change for a wedding and they ensured my room was ready for that. Room was very clean. Could not complain about anything.

Lovely modern hotel with a great pub/restaurant attached to it. The staff were very friendly at the reception desk and the rooms and bathroom facilities were all up to date and clean.

Rooms great can you hire more house keeper please like we go out and our room still hasn't been done for two days hire more house keeper and go back to old menu.

Not the best Premier Inn but it is having some work done on it at present so it will probably be smartened up soon. When we were there only the ground floor was open because of the building work. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast next door was OK but the continual sound of a hoover was rather irritating.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here on our 4 day stay over. Friendly, courteous and happy to go the extra mile. It is one of the older style hotels, they still have real keys but that just adds to the charm. The breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfast at a premier inn I've had, so don't miss out.

Always use this chain, always a comfy night's sleep. Really nice helpful staff here, got a great room for £30 food and staff in restaurant great too. No complaints.

The service is very good, the reception staff is quite nice. The restaurant is a great value, great cocktails and a lot of delicious plates. The rooms are however a bit old.

Good comfy bed and clean room as always at a premier inn but the bathroom in need of a facelift. Great food at a very good price in the restaurant and good breakfast to set you up for the day.

Was EVRTYTHING we needed for 2 nights away. It was a half our hike, nearly to get to our room, was warm, comfortable and good price. Breakfast was a farce… ages to wait on cooked Buffett. Staff were buzzing around but not making eye contact… not very helpful. Ran out of glasses fir juice… took an age… to get one… plates too. Nearly gave up.

Nice decor, friendly staff. Food reasonable. I ordered apple crumble, half small jug if cold custard let it down, apart from that I enjoyed my meal.

Recently refurbished and looking great. The menu looks good and the food we ordered was superb and good value.

The hotel was fine, it was exactly what you'd expect from a premier Inn, the restaurant nextdoor was also very good.

Quiet and clean rooms in a easily accessible location, a decent free Wi-Fi service that is also easily made faster using the upgrade. The restaurant next door also gets a good recommendation for friendly staff with good tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere.

As expected nice clean room… lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Only complaint was hot breakfast delivered to table whilst we were still eating our cereal/fruit.

Easy to get to, staff were friendly and helpful, parking spaces are too small, restaurant next door was good, especially before 5pm.

Always great to stay at the Kilmarnock Premier Inn. Close to the motorway and local towns. Great new pub nextdoor serves nice hot meals and a great breakfast selection. The room was a little cold, but warmed up nicely in no time.

Off of the beaten track and at the time of my visit the restaurant /bar was undergoing a refit. The staff at the Premier Inn were apologetic and provided a free breakfast box. They also provided a list of local amenities. The rooms were clean and of a good standard. 3 stars only given due to location and refit of restaurant.

This place is okay. It's in desperate need of a facelift (they'd make more money if they invested in modernising it), and isn't the cleanest of Premier Inn I've been at. There were several spiders in our room as well as they seem to ignore the corners when hoovering. And lastly the room is absolutely boiling. But it's an okay hotel, budget friendly and the people are nice. Don't know if I'd stay again, but there ya go.

Stayed in room 18. Could smell damp as you walked in. Window wall had large damp areas with black mould near the skirting board. Room not cleaned properly, cobwebs in corners. Staff aware of wall, why put guests in the first place?
Breakfast next door was a let down. Vacuum cleaner blasting away while eating my breakfast.

Stayed here from 27th June — 1st July as we were in Scotland for a family wedding. Lovely clean room, wonderful staff, even bought an ironing board & iron to our room to freshen a few items. Best night's sleep we'd had, the beds are fantastic. We'd booked the premier breakfast and so much choice and enjoyed every breakfast we had. Would recommend it and will definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable rooms with a good quality Brewers Fare next door.

Friendly reception, clean and reasonably priced and only 1.5 miles from town centre.

We stayed one night on a stopover as it was cheap. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were pleasant. The food next door was also good!

Brilliant for a short stay. There is a Brewers Fayre next door which is convenient for drinks and meals and I highly recommend purchasing a all you can eat breakfast at the time of your booking. There is also a meal deal which includes a 2 course evening meal, a drink and breakfast but look at the menu available as I find it is quite limited — there isn't the full choice of menu available with this deal.

I would like to thank all the staff at Moorfields premier inn Kilmarnock abserlutly brilliant on our 2 day stay even tho my daughter flooded the bedroom it was a complete accident on the first night she was so stressed as her son was going into cross house hospital 2 get a op at 7 30 in the morning she was put into another room thank you so much keep up the good work and all take care thank you so much from the bottom of my heart xxx.

We went to the Cotton Mill in the early evening for a quick bite to eat. Plenty of parking — no hassles there. It was quite busy in the restaurant however it was easy enough to find a table. Food was OK, it was a self service buffet style evening. Burgers, chicken & hot dogs.

A comfortable hotel, good sized family room easily accommodated the 4 of us. Clean, well presented accommodation with very cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. The onsite restaurant is expensive for a family evening meal although strangely the breakfast is very good value! My children were not impressed that the free Wi-Fi is limited to 30 minutes per day, over that and you have to pay extra. I would recommend a stay here but if you have children eat elsewhere unless you have deep pockets.
