Thank you for the excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble, and I especially appreciated the covid measures and that staff temporarily removed masks when speaking to me in the restaurant so that I understood them.

Had afternoon tea and it was delicious, the service was amazing, overall a very pleasant experience.

I was lucky enough tho have afternoon tea from here today for Mother’s Day. Cakes we’re Devine and flavours and tastes were delicious. Sandwiches were really good. Can’t recommend enough. Well done all of you.

Had a lovely stay this weekend my only complaint is I was in a luxury room which was beautiful however it didn’t have any normal windows that made me feel claustrophobic. Also would of liked a bath. The room was beautiful but very warm we didn’t want to open to roof windows as they were noisy. Afternoon tea was also delicious xx.

Disgustingly rude staff. We booked the room for a photo shoot, after getting the check in time wrong 3 times, over charging us by double and then deciding to kick us out 20 minutes after checking in when they took one look at me and decided they didn’t want us in their hotel. My husband and I travel the world for work. We spend so much time in hotels and we’ve never experienced vile people like this. Would never recommend. The buildings make it beautiful but the owners/staff turn it into the ugliest hotel.

Fantastic food that was only topped by the staff.

We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel after a work Christmas Party this week. A lovely hotel with beautiful rooms all individually and thoughtfully designed. Judy and the team was outstanding in their attention to detail, our party was well organised and the food was excellent!

Everything about our overnight stay was wonderful, from the customer service before we arrived to the friendly checkout service. Everyone was very professional and the service was spot on. Drinks were well prepared, the food menu was exciting and the meals were beautiful. Our room was delightful too and the whole property is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

From the moment you are greeted at reception to when you drive away the next day, you will enjoy a relaxed and very special time at Eckington. The rooms are all beautifully appointed with Fired Earth sanitary ware and supremely comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant is amazing and what I would call “Midlands Terroir” with lovingly prepared local ingredients. The entire staff have charm and care about ensuring that their guests are well cared for. We’ve stayed three times now and can’t wait till the next time.

We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We had been once before, a couple of years ago and were very impressed. It is now, nowhere near as good as it was, in our opinion. Our main courses particularly were very poor! Dry tasteless meat with almost nothing of any flavour to accompany it. Very disappointed.

Just fabulous all round. Couldn't find any faults from the moment of entry to exit. What a wonderful dining experience. Why have we not been before now Norman Withey. Judy you are a fantastic hostess (and the beasties/future dinners are great).

Excellent food and service this was my second visit and didn’t disappoint.

Just returned from a two night stay to celebrate my birthday. Fantastic foood and lovely accommodation. Staff are also very attentive and friendly. If you are looking for a break somewhere a bit different and quirky, this is a great choice.

Apparently, people wait for a long time to book a table here. I didn't see what the fuss was about. The meat in my meal was undercooked, so I sent it back. It was barely touched when it was returned to me so I couldn't eat it. Even my husband who's eaten anything that's ever had a face or a heartbeat didn't enjoy it. Too-fancy appetizers and nothing for vegetarians. It was absolutely boiling hot upstairs, too, with no air flowing. I know England just had it's hottest summer ever, but surely a fan or opening some doors would help for crossflow? The bar made a nice cocktail but went only because it was our hosts' choice for the night and I won't return. Shame because what a great story on how it came about. It sounds like the woman who created this was an amazing character! If you like small, fancy meals which are mainly rawish meat or shellfish, go ahead and try this place but it was wasted on me.

Wonderful Stay, super rooms and conformable beds. Staff in the restaurant were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. It was altogether a great stay and would recommend it even if just for the food which was fantastic. Also a great wine list.

Quiet secluded place for tranquil breaks, athough it is well positioned for visits to Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, or Upton on Severn.

Without exception, every one of the staff that we met was efficient, friendly and helpful. Comfortable band well-appointed rooms are in various buildings around a central courtyard carpark but with patio and lawn for enjoying pre-dinner cocktails, weather permitting. (We were lucky! ) The main, modern, building houses the reception, bar and kitchen to the first floor restaurant, which was the main objective of our visit and we were not disappointed. Professional MasterChef winner (2015, I think) continues to impress and delight with imaginitively designed and beautifully prepared and presented dishes in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Cookery courses available for the enthusiastic but I'll let the experts do their stuff and enjoy the results.

Overnight stay after Malvern show, good room and breakfast, pleasant staff.

What a find! I booked in here last minute as I had to cancel a week end away in Edinburgh due to recovering from treatment and still not feeling well enough to travel. Well it was perfect. The Sunday lunch yesterday was amazing and the staff were very attentive whilst not being over bearing. The room (no8) although compact was delightful and had French doors which opened onto a little patio where we ate super last night and breakfast this morning in the gorgeous sunshine. As it’s only less than an hour from home (solihull) we Intend to visit here on a regular basis in the future. A lovely peaceful, calm and private destination with first class food, staff and location.

Not many covers but service gets slow when full. The food is nice, as expected.

Had a fabulous stay on 17th January, second time I've been, beautiful room, really lovely, friendly staff, especially on reception. Absolutely delicious meal, new menu is amazing and carefully designed. If you've never been, book and go, you will have an amazing culinary experience and the beautiful rooms and gorgeous breakfast will complete your experience.

Wonderful wedding venue. Food and service fantastic. Views, lovely original style rooms, and did I mention the first class food?

Very nice lovely setting. Food really tasty but too fancy for me. I prefer a good steak over a fiddly dish with froth and not much substance. But if you like that kind of thing its pretty good. Wouldnt say this is a 5 star hotel. It's a strong 4.

This is hand down my favourite restaurant in the UK, if not the world. Mind bendingly good food, excellent drinks menu and really friendly staff make every visit one to remember. If you haven't eaten here before then you have to go as soon as possible!

We recently visited Eckingtom manor fo a wedding and were very impressed with the facilities. Beautiful venue.

We stayed at Eckingon Manor in 2016 and revisited this weekend to attend a cookery course. We couldn't fault a single thing about our stay previously, and this weekend was no different. The rooms, location, service and food are all simply amazing — all of the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble! We didn't meet Sue but got the chance to quickly speak to Mark and compliment him on the food, and he is very friendly! Glynn the course tutor was lovely and made th…e course fun and informative, and we're looking forward to trying out the new recipes at home! Our evening meal was world class and cooked to perfection. Fillet beef you hardly needed to chew, and my starter of hake with curried aubergine had perfectly balanced flavours (I'm not ashamed to admit I mopped up all of the sauce with my bread, I though licking the bowl may have been a step to far however I may have done if the bread hadn't been there! I'm not usually a massive desert person but the one I had was probably the best I have ever tasted (other than the one I chose on my last visit! ) My husband was equally as impressed, and said the beef was the best he had ever eaten. The whole team at Eckington make the experience relaxing and unforgettable and we will most definitely be back (but will have to bring our daughter as she came with us last year and was not impressed about being left behind this weekend! ) Thank you to the whole team for making our weekend so lovely.

Having just sent 2 years planning our wedding the big day finally came last weekend. I need to say from start to finish every single member of the team was incredible. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything we asked for was never a problem even adding their own expert knowledge and experience to enhance our day. We were fortunate enough to book the manor for the whole weekend and I can't recommend this enough. Having the afternoon before to prep the room out our self was great then we could just sit back and relax. Our guest were astonished by the quality and level of finish on all the individually designed rooms which added a real wow factor for the guests that stayed at the manor with us. The chefs did a great job first catering to the needs of all the children perfectly then we had a brilliant treat with posh fish and chips. On to the day it's self and all the team did a great job settling nerves and helping us every step of the way. The wedding meal was incredible and to deliver that standard of food to all our guests with the extra of gluten free and the odd fussy eater was simply amazing. There was nothing but clean plates going back which was a real pleasure to see. The standard of food throughout and on meals we've had previously is second to none and I think we would have a hard job finding anywhere as good in the surrounding areas.

Our stay at Eckington Manor was a delight. The food was fabulous, the staff friendly and the rooms were beautiful. All in all a high quality experience in a beautiful setting.

We had a wonderful meal here last night. The service was on point and the food was spectacular. The dining room felt a little out of place of the rest of its surroundings as we expected something slightly less contemporary having recently looked at some of the photos of the grounds and buildings however this took nothing away from a fabulous experience. We must say as well, the prices of the food and the wine were very accessible for the standard you are paying for. Can't wait to visit again!

On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Chloe who showed us the facilities and our cosy room which included a gas log burner! The room was well equipped, beside the slightly small wardrobe! The Master Chef taster menu was a journey for taste buds and mind that was very well executed. Each course was full of interesting flavours and presented in a sympathetic and delightful fashion that made you smile. My only critics was I would have liked at least 2 pieces of the crab tortellini! All the staff were charming and polite and informed you of the dish and it's origin from the competing. Both Mark and Sue came out to our table and both were friendly down to earth lovely people. I highly recommend this experience at Eckington Manor as a must thing to do. We will definatly be returning g to enjoy there food again.

Absolutely exquisite food, brilliant staff and a very friendly environment. I've been to a lot of very good restaurants in the world but Eck manor trumps them all. If you have the chance or opportunity to go there, just do it.

Had starter and main. Then had to wait 25 minutes for a sweet menu. Only 15 covers. No feed back from my compliant. Will not return.

We held our wedding reception at Eckington Manor and couldn't have wished for a better venue or experience. The setting and rooms are stunning, and the staff had thought of everything — they even turned it into a magical land full of lights and torches when the sun went down. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and will be going back.

We stayed two nights and had breakfast and dinner. Room and annex we stayed him was beautifully converted farmhouse. Restaurant and food was also great. Couldn't fault really.

Great place stumbled up on this hotel will use again.

We stayed at Eckington Manor and unfortunately we could only stay for one night. The rooms are amazing and have been beautifully restored with the features of the old manor still being seen in the rooms. The exposed wooden beams were stunning. Cheese plate on arrival and an amazing breakfast at the cookery school in the morning. We will definitely be back in Winter for a weekend escape.
