My daughter and I had a wonderful time, while on a short trip away from London. The kids' hideaway is great, and we enjoyed swimming. There are designated times for kiddos. Afternoon tea was delicious, but the highlight was falconry! I can't sat enough good things… Ben and Patrick were knowledgeable and friendly, and the birds were amazing!

The afternoon tea was amazing. Food was excellent quality and presented well. Lots of choice for the drinks. Service was very good and quick. Although the service was very good, we were slightly disappointed by the 12.5% service charge. If there were 4 people having a 3 course meal, then it would be worth paying, but not for an afternoon tea for 2 people.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic service and amenities.

I visited the hotel for afternoon tea. The atmosphere was amazing, drinking tea in a relaxing lounge, the afternoon tea delicious, the staff very friendly! We had a tour in the public areas of the hotel, and everything was so cosy and beautiful but next time we should come back to dine at the restaurant among all of these paintings of ancient Athens! The park is so beautiful but the most intrigued situation was to see the hotel at the end of that amazing mile from the entrance in a super foggy day! But the fog made everything more beautiful and mysterious!

Classy joint. Michelin star food. Wonderful old hotel. Full of charm and fantastic staff. Afternoon tea on a different level. Most important thing is she loved it lol 500 acres of beautiful woodland and grounds.

Beautiful place, amazing spa, food was excellent. Stayed for 3 nights, each better than the last. I would highly recommend Lucknam Park. Peaceful and luxurious.

Bad experience with reservations team tying to rip me off by saying we couldn’t have our small children under 4 in the same room as us if we booked a standard room. They were rude and tried to get me to pay for a full suite. Never had this experienced hotels before.

Such a lovely day and the restaurant chap was so friendly and kind. I think his name was Rogan — sorry if I've got that wrong. He was just so nice I wanted to say so. Mum and I had the best day, so much needed. We are already planning the next trip!

Alway so relaxed and a wonderful atmosphere service is second to none.

We had the Easter Takeaway Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Fantastic service from ordering to collection and the food was perfect. A nice little touch with the Easter bunny gifts too. Looking forward to coming back when you reopen.

I was incredibly lucky to win a competition to stay at Lucknum Park. Despite being under Covid measures, everything has been amazing again. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is performed with a smile. Such a fabulous place which we love coming to visit and already looking forward to the next. Thank you so much for such an indulgent prize, it was utterly fabulous and blissful.

An amazing haven set in beautiful countryside. Wild deer and horses. Gorgeous food and fabulous cocktails. Open fires. Afternoon tea to die for!

Lucknam is a beautiful, tranquil hotel to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The spa facilities are fabulous with lovely views of the open parkland complete with the occasional deer.
The Brasserie provides a cosmopolitan atmosphere with plenty of food offerings from pizza to Sunday lunch.
An after dinner nightcap in the magnificent lounge provides the perfect end to the day.
We have been coming to stay for the last 30 years and have made many special memories with events from my mothers 80th birthday to my daughters 21st.
Look forward to making more soon!

Family and friends gathered for the weekend for a fairytale wedding! The staff was amazingly attentive! The hotel, spa and grounds were gorgeous! And there are no words to describe how delicious the food was!

Nothing was too much trouble for the very helpful and pleasant staff. The Restaurant was well deserved of it’s Michelin Star. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

I enjoyed a fabulous overnight stay at Lucknam Park Hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious, with a four poster bed and a beautiful view over the hotel’s grounds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was there to celebrate my birthday and I arrived to a bottle of champagne in my room. It certainly exceeded all my expectations. I can also highly recommend the food in the brassiere and the breakfast in the morning was utterly delicious too.

5-star welcome; car valet was friendly and had great personality, room welcome was delightful as we received fresh fruit and champagne to celebrate a birthday and babymoon. Room was cozy and warm, the estate and historic building are charming; the area is quiet and relaxing. We loved having breakfast every morning because of the fresh, delicious ingredients but also because the breakfast staff are extremely pleasant! They really made our day special with their genuine care, service and curiosity about our day. I’ll miss our breakfast lot! High tea was also superb. Each sandwich and pastry was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Lucknam!

Wow… what can I say… truly wonderful. With a party of 4 on Saturday booked into the Restaurant Hywel Jones to have the Tasting Menu. I had the vegetarian menu (i'm not vege, just liked the look of it) and my friends had the signature menus together with the wine paring. What an amazing foodie experience. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, colourful and different with lots of choices I wouldn't usually pick off a menu. The wine selections to accompany each course were interesting and the lovely italian wine waiter was very knowlegeable. The front of house and waiting staff were great and very attentive. A very lovely evening in a beautiful location and highly recommended for a dining experience with a difference.

One of the most special places I have ever visited on this planet. Staff, bedrooms, hotel, equestrian centre, cookery school, food and the most amazing spa facility in the UK. Anyone that gets to experience this destination will be blown away. Downtown Abbey does not have a patch on it.

Fantastic location, great food and a very decent spa. The staff however, apart from very few exceptions, is not well trained or very experiences. I encountered several new staff and the one who showed me to my room had trouble finding the room, be it that the hotel is quite convoluted and confusing. The rooms however make up for it, being large amd very nice. Only problem was no air-conditioning and we had over 30 degrees when we were there.

A lovely country estate with 500 acres and lots of activities: biking, tennis, football, walking. The highlight however is the Spa with its many rooms and beautiful outdoor pool. We had a lovely time here, though note that this is a historical house and thus some of the aspects (e. G. Lack of a fridge, separate hot/cold water taps) reflect the age of the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

An intimate n quiet place located in the midst of a lovely wooded forest. Exceptional service n food. Had a surprise birthday party with family. Excellent place if you wan to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy tranquility at its best.

Beautiful setting, wonderful dining experience with good service and high quality food. Slightly pricey, but worth it!

We have just returned home from a wonderful 2 night stay. The staff and the service are truly exceptional. From the welcome as we pulled up, the valet parking, the check-in and the tour of the facilities to the service we received in every single department of the hotel, spa and both restaurants was warm welcoming and of a very high standard. We were made to feel special and relaxed. The environment is a perfect place to relax, unwind and indulge your selves. There are two restaurants here. The main Michelin star one and The Brasserie. We had some issues with the food in the main restaurant, very mediocre, tasteless and unimaginative for a Michelin star eatery both dinner on the Friday and at Breakfast on Sat morning (beware breakfast is fixed price and well over priced — much more sensible pricing is available in the Brasserie, which we were not informed about until Saturday afternoon), no need to eat brekki in the main restaurant when you get more choice in the Brasserie. We faired much better in the Brasserie in terms of quality and value for money. We will definitely visit here again without hesitation, however our expectations of the culinary experience will be down graded and restricted perhaps to The Brasserie.

A fabulous relaxing week away with family including a 12 and 9 year old plus baby grandson 4 months and parents. Older children enjoyed a cookery class in cookery school, chef Ben was excellent. Much fun was has at the Hidaway, imaginary play as well as table football. The sensory room for baby’s is outstanding. Food glorious food in the Brasserie, don’t miss the Larry the lamb shepherd pie, the best I’ve ever eaten in the world. Chefs are amazing and kindly made many meals off my eating plan. Wheat/gluten free plus SIBO free recipes. The staff are friendly and attentive. We cannot recommend this place enough it’s perfect for family’s.

There definitely is no nicer hotel within the United Kingdom! Somehow manages to always exceed expectations! Super nice rooms and luxurious bathrooms! Amazing service.

An excellent hotel. Beautiful buildings, rooms are classic and very cosy, the spa is heavenly and staff are professional and courteous. The main restaurant is another level — particularly the tasting menu which offered some of the best food I've ever had. This hotel is expensive but worth every penny — I'd live there if I could afford it!

Lovely location and excellent service, up there with the best of them and recommend to anyone, superb walks, outstanding food and quality rooms, didn't try the spa but Dylan the Boston Terrier enjoyed the doggy gift bag… 5 stars.

Nice location. However the room was small and not ideal for a stay with a dog — the carpet was cream coloured which was a headache every time we returned after a walk around the lovely but somewhat muddy grounds (December stay). Food was excellent though and of good quality.

I’ve been to Lucknam on several occasions over the past year and absolutely adore the place. The staff, the feel, the food is fantastic. Best Afternoon Tea in the area. Dinner in the Brasserie is superb and the head waiter is possibly the best person I have ever met in hospitality, attentive and very well rehearsed with the food and drinks on offer. We even got a table visit from Ellie, the wonderful runner up from Master Chef the Professionals. See you all again.

Only been to the spa. Wow, if you want luxury this is it. Amazing location, facilities are beautifully presented. All this does come with a hefty price tag.

I have been coming to Lucknam since before most of the staff were born. And I love it. But I am sorry to say that standards are slipping. When the manager's back is turned (he is away for a manager of the year award) things slip. We were not happy and instead of engaging with us they ploughed on. We ended up walking out. And instead of the £68 chateau Briand we had 2 steaks in the local pub for £36. Great atmosphere and service in the pub. The brasserie could learn something! Such a shame to see the prices have gone up and service down.

The views are absolutely beautiful, the staff are very pleasant and we had some wonderful afternoon tea!

Speedy supper cookery class with Ben Taylor. Highly recommend full day cookery class. Ben is super professional, friendly and passionate at food. 5 dishes made which were each delicious and everyday food. From beginners to intermediate. Time went by so quickly. Ben delivers some high accomplished cooking. Delighted all round. With goodies to take home for the family to enjoy.

Engagement weekend! We celebrated the wkd here and loved it! The Manager's golden retriever was on the drive to greet us as we rolled up. Food was delicious, service incredible. Can't wait to return.

My visit was for a full afternoon tea that was a Christmas present for my husband and I. When I booked the tea I booked an extra place for my son who has a nut allergy and explained this on the email. I requested a plain sandwich that I would pay extra for. We were seated on a small table and chair and found it quite uncomfortable. After ordering and explaining again about the nut allergy, the teas came about 30 min later with a ham and cheese sandwich for my son along with all the bite size cakes full of nuts. After about 25 min the waitress came over and asked how the food was. My husband explained that my son had been given nuts and this had been outlined in the email and again when ordering. This food was then taken away and a further plate of bitezise cakes were brought without nuts. At this point my son was a bit anxious about eating any more and only ate the sandwich. The staff were very apologetic and were very helpful. I would say that the tea is very overpriced for what it is and I would not go back again.

We stayed here for two nights for our babymoon trip and had an absolutely fabulous time. Food at the Hywell Jones Restaurant was divine and the Brasserie was also great. Spa treatment were blissful and I wished we paid for more treatments over and above our spa package. It's a real treat of a spa for a special occasion. Loved it! Will be back with the baby!

The hotel is set in a wonderful part of the countryside with great grounds and an impressive building. The rooms are nice with a lovely bathroom. Pre dinner drinks are very relaxed and make you feel at home. The food on the tasting menu was very good. Spa facilities were good, especially the outdoor jacuzzi and swimming pool.

Rooms are lovley but somewhat small. For the money the suite was more like a regular double room. Service however was impeccable. Restaurants excellent, spa sublime and grounds beautiful with amazing walking.

This place is a truly amazing experience. The staff are amazing and helpful. The food is incredible and the rooms are something special. Make sure you take you swimming gear as the pools and spa are well worth a visit.

We came for a birthday treat around 17th February this year. Fantastic on every level. Lovely atmospheric hotel with well tended grounds. The main dining room is gorgeous and laid out beautifully. Lots of attentive staff and the menus are delicious. The Spa should be visited as it is very modern and relaxing, the treatments were superb. Next to this is a very good modern brasserie giving you a choice of menu quite different from the main house. Absolutely wonderful stay. I am still thinking about it!

We had lunch to celebrate a family member's birthday. The 10 strong party ranged in age from 4 to 82. The food was of a very high standard, as always. The service was good without being outstanding. We keep coming back to the brasserie at Lucknam Park because of the relaxed atmosphere and the interesting menu. Long may it continue.

Beautiful hotel with amazing grounds that I'd highly recommend as a wedding venue or simply a place to stay on the outskirts of Bath. I have provided many flowers for guests staying at the Hotel, dining here and also holding their wedding ceremony/reception here. The staff are really friendly and the food is great (I have dined at both the Brasserie for a Sunday lunch and the Park Restaurant) High recommend — Ella, Flowers of Bath.

Afternoon tea was a delight. The room is light and cheerful, views lovely, staff helpful and unhurried (in a good way). I would definitely go again. I've heard Sunday lunch here is good too — will look forward to that sometime soon.

Staff were incredibly friendly and we'll mannered, Setting was beautiful and the grounds were stunning. The brioche bun of the burger was exceptional but the burger itself was a little plain. Besides that, everything else was fantastic.

Went to the brasserie for Valentine's Day dinner. The place is nice, nice decor, nice staff and the setting is spectacular. The food is good but not great. I had "Gin poached salmon" which had never been near any gin, and a rib-eye, the meat was good quality and had a good beefy flavour but it was all a bit lack lustre, no charring, and no seasoning. Still, had a great time and would go back.

Went to the brasserie for Valentine's lunch. Fantastic service and very reasonable prices. Waiters are exceptional as is the rest of the hotel.

If you can afford it, this is a lovely place for food or to stay. Spa is excellent.

The food here is wonderful and the staff beyond excellent. Fun place and beautiful look and grounds. So happy I choose to stay here while in England. When I was there the rooms had no A/C but they was a constant breeze so totally unnecessary. I do not know if this has changed.

Hotel is very nice, staff extremely friendly and the grounds are beautiful but some of the rooms could still use updating (I believe they are mid-refurbishment). The spa/pool is really nice and the Park restaurant is excellent.

This is classic luxury hotel with posh lounges, four poster beds, afternoon tea, and the manager coming to greet you when you arrive. What makes it more modern though is the wonderful spa: a large indoor pool (where kids are allowed all day), a very nice hydrotherapy pool, several steam rooms and of course treatments galore. Food was particularly good, probably the best of all the places we stayed in England. The brasserie in the spa in particular had light tasty well presented dishes. Shame about the decor that feels a bit like a busy train station. There is also a Michelin star restaurant in the main house for which you have to dress up.

It is actually hard to describe how impressed I was in my first visit to Lucknam Park. Stunning grounds, relaxed atmosphere, a real luxury spa experience, fantastic food, friendly staff and impecable rooms. I cannot wait for my next visit.
