Rooms are disgusting, carpet was filthy, restaurant menu was limited and what I asked for they didn't have, the meal I got wasn't good, would not go back.

Solid hotel, with a decent breakfast, nothing fancy, but all good and cheap for what you get.

The room had an awful smell, the carpet felt like it had been in place for more than 10 years without being cleaned, the walls were paper thin so you could hear everything from the person in the next room; and to top it off there was no hot water for the shower. I later found out from colleagues who had stayed there previously that the hot water situation had been going on for over a week, I wasn't informed of this issue on arrival so it felt like they were willfully holding that information back and taking a chance that people wouldn't complain. When I did complain I was provided with a full refund without debate, which made it even more suspect. Sufficed to say I would avoid staying here if you can.

I have used this hotel on a few occasions. Never again. I have been stung with a £100 fine for not paying car park fees. Reception did not tell me that I had to validate reg. No. For free parking. Snow had covered all signage and I didn't see anything. Despite explaining this to both hotel manager and park cark firm, seems I have to pay the fine, even though I actually stayed at the hotel. Thank you Ibis. Totally unacceptable and disgusting that Ibis is making money from carpark even when customer can prove he stayed there! You will never see me at that hotel again!

Good points: Clean and tidy Helpful staff Bad points: There is no lift in this hotel we asked for a ground floor room so it wasn’t a problem for us. Carpet was filthy in room number 6 needs replacing There was blood on the spare pillow in the wardrobe. Not much space to get in the second bed as they where pushed together. Several bulbs where out in the room this made the room very dim. Breakfast everything kept running out we had to ask for teaspoons, forks, there was very little of any of the breakfast items available the sausages ran out, bacon ran out. We feel like rather than the hotel offering a halfhearted buffet breakfast. They would have been better to take orders. It seems like they where to afraid to put food out in case it got wasted.

It's more of a motel than a hotel, where your accommodation is kind of similar to old style Butlins or Pontins chalets. Dated but clean enough. Had breakfast there, the presentation of which was kind of weird, being handed a plate of four sausages and then a minute of two later being shown a bowl of scrambled egg on a distant warmer. Then a bowl of baked beans and a bowl of mushrooms brought to the table. The food looked fine and tasted great but was just strangely presented to us.

Our experience here was very enjoyable. Staff was very professional. The food was good. The room was clean and warm. Defenitly recommend.

I stayed there for 2 weeks, the hotel staff is polite. The location is good considering ASDA (supermarket) and food pick up stores at walking distance.

Been here a few times (not through choice) room is acceptable for the cheap price but it did smell kind of damp when I entered. Bar stock is poor, no vodka one visit, beer taps not working the next! They do a nice (cooked from frozen) Chicago Town pizza. Can't fault the staff they are nice, doing the best with what they have, shame the mamagement don't spend £10 grand on a minor overhaul… heck, £50 would make an improvement!

Very poor B'fast, had the smoked salmon and poached eggs, salmon was blue/ grey colour on one end hidden by advocado and salad!

Very basic facilities. Wasn't a problem for us as we were only staying there to attend a wedding nearby. Helpful lady on check in however not everything clearly explained. Rooms were suitable for what we needed but wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night. Travelled with two other rooms one of whose toilet was broken so she got moved but this wasn't communicated to the rest of the team and it wasn't checked on check out. Housekeeping also entered their room at 10am even though we hadn't checked out — not enough rooms for lack of communication to be an issue. Would stay here again but only of I need a room whilst I go to another event.

This hotel is just outside the main part of the town. It's really convenient because of the free car parking. The room size are decent and very clean. It's so peaceful and quiet around the hotel perfect place to escape form the city. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Close n walkable to JLR Whitley plant. In a calm locality… For public transport or groceries store have to walk for at least 10 min. No laundry services available.

Clean and comfortable basic accommodation. Good location for that side of Coventry. Can be tricky to find without a sat nav.

Nice little hotel. Good clean rooms. Nice quiet area. Food and drink was nice at a good price.

Good little place to stop the night, clean and tidy. Staff could work on their communication skills. Otherwise Id highly recommend this as a no frills one night place to stay.

Not clean and a bit remote.

It was like a prison cell. Not that I've been in one but not inviting or homely. Very basic.

Very unfriendly reception. Room smells musty. Dated decoration. Here because Coventry Central full. Looking forward to getting back there next week for a friendly welcome and more comfort.

Cold, awkward, Spartan.

The hotel itself is clean enough within the rooms if very basic, though being a motel-style hotel it's rather noisier than a normal hotel would be. They do, however, need to hold back on the rather pungent antiseptic cleaner!

Basic accommodation but good value for money. Perfect for a stop over. Has a bar and also serves food. There is also a conference room too.

Rooms are old fashion and dirty. I could hear people during the night… The food is rubbish and expensive, I will sped a little bit more next time and go in a better one.

I've been using this Ibis weekly for a month or so. A motel type arrangement with two levels of ensuite bedrooms in a building separated from the reception/restaurant by a dedicated car park. Always ample parking space available. Reception staff always friendly and efficient — have had exceptional service there. The rooms are utilitarian and tired to be generous but this is reflected in the pricing structure — by some way the most economical Accor group hotel offer in the Midlands.

Some rooms are damp little wooden chalets, so heavy rain disturbs sleep, and one I was offered smelt bad and was in dire need of renovation. Some nicer, family rooms upstairs. The meals and breakfasts are up to standard for an ibis, although the menu is small. The prices are very good, but the service is poor, e. G. Tables are not laid for breakfast, there are few condiments, and whilst staff can be helpful, they seem to be few.

Ibis has a brand, you know what you're getting. I understand the need to increase business but to buy old hotels and just put your brand on them without any upgrading is suicide. This hotel is like a 1950's holiday camp and I will never, ever book a IBIS hotel again.

Absolute dump, cold & miserable decor was atrocious really needs an upgrade to brighten the reception and the rooms. Staff wearing dirty clothes whilst serving food, toilets in reception area dirty with a horrendous stench word than the worst public toilets at a music festival. Heating on a timer so if ur working night shift like I was then the room was cold all day. Never again.

It's a basic motel style Ibis. A bit old and grubby but the service is good and the staff are thoughtful.

Room was cold during stay. Heater was supplied but not much improvement. Food was good but needed a change by the end of the week. Staff very friendly. Needs modernising. The best thing about it was the bag of towels n coffee left on door when I displayed do not disturb sign. Would stay again for work, not for pleasure.

Have stayed here many times. Best service, Clean rooms.
