Hotel just off Broad Street. Very well appointed and feels more up market than you're paying for. Good breakfast with attentive staff and wide range of foods. Omelettes made to order are highly recommend. Rooms are of a good standard with fridge etc. It's central location provides many opportunities to eat and drink out of the hotel so can't comment on the hotel bar and restaurant but would expect they are of similar standard.

Nice hotel, basic but comfortable. Very welcoming reception. Rooms were clean and aircon was good and worked effectively when needed.

Really good hotel. Ask for a room not over looking the square though or there us loud music from a club playing until the earky hours. Will definately stay there again.

The rooms are looking good and clean. The staff are very nice and caring. The location is very good… close to major shopping strip in the city.

The room was not presented to a very good standard, with dirty towel on my first night so put the towels for wash to find the next lot of clean towels to also have dirty marks. This did surprise me until I looked at the “clean” towels on the house keeping trolleys it became obvious that this was acceptable with the top towel having a clear black mark. I have attached pictures of my dirty towels (these were not normal stains as when wetted finger the marks would smear). Another issue I had was the shower had not been cleaned to a high standard with a crusty yellow substance on the wall (picture attached). I was in room 138 and the air conditioning did not work. I tried on a couple of occasions moved the dial to — 3 and waited a few hours and still no change to the room temperature. I asked my friend to have a look to make sure I was doing it right which she agreed it was not working. There was a lot of noise throughout the night, presume to be water pump or something. The noise was a squealing noise and I linked this with the water as when the people had a shower in the room next door or flushed the toilet the noise would start (not great when you can hear the people in the room next door using the toilet and walking around). Also early hours of the morning you could hear noise in the dining room, I presume getting ready for breakfast etc, which can’t be helped however you don’t expect to hear it so clearly in the bedroom above.

Stayed here to attend an event at Arena Birmingham, which is within walking distance. The canals and ICC are all walking distance, as well as several grocery stores, gyms, and delicious food options. Everything you'd need is reachable by foot. The hotel itself is great by EU standards — — comfortable beds, decent restaurant breakfast and has a (small) gym. Unfortunately, it's very dry and I woke up multiple times each night of my stay with a mouth/throat like the Sahara.

Place is nice and in a good place but they lost water for three hours so no shower or loo facilities so we went home. Told we would be get a refund. Still waiting over a week later despite several emails to them.

Loved the courtyard setting. Room was small but had great view over the courtyard. Food was excellent. Not sure about prices as employer was paying so can't say if good value for money. There is a car park by the side of it, not owned by hotel. I went by train do not sure about cost.

Booked afternoon tea for me and my mother, Charlene was absolutely lovely! We arrived an hour early and she was happy to seat us and book us in early, perfect service & lovely lady, afternoon tea was so fresh with yummy cakes, will definitely return :)

Top quality hotel with a nice gym and helpful staff. Room sizes were sufficient and very clean. Good sized TVs and bed in the room.

Fantastic staff. I have a disability which is difficult to manage on my own and they have been so understanding and helping. It would have been 5 stars but I could access the car park because of my mobility and this was unclear on the website, but the staff did give me a valet service which is above and beyond what they had to do for me. I will be back.

Superb in every aspect of the stay but a very special thank you to the chef Terry. Terry is the politest, considerate, professional person I've had the pleasure to meet whilst being away from home. I would strongly recommend a stay at this hotel. Thank you.

Stayed here a few times, really good hotel in a great position. Easy to get to bars and clubs around and also get to the Arena Birmingham. Never had a bad stay beds are very comfey would recommend.

Didn’t even stay, appalled by the service. Offered free cancellation only for them to try and bill me £210 for the room 6 weeks in advance when I tried to cancel two weeks after booking. Tried to pass the blame on a third party when they requested funds. Only for them to tell me later on in the phone call that they requested the funds themselves.

We stayed 1 night and it was excellent location for the Arena Birmingham. It didn't bother us as we only stayed 1 night but rooms are advertised as having a mini fridge but it didn't, sure reception would have sorted it out if we had of asked though. Nearby Q Parking ticket was validated by reception but did nothing was still full price, website quotes it makes it the same as their own at £15.40 and receptionist said 10% off but it was neither. Dropped a star off for that. As we were hungry from traveling we stopped in at the restaurant/bar downstairs for a late lunch. The food was great but even better was Albi, he is a real credit to the hotel! He was pleasant, friendly and generally made our lunch very enjoyable. Absolutely lovely and full of character, thank you to him! Overall it was a nice hotel, well located, Albi was amazing and if your going to attend something at The Arena or the Sealife Centre its a no brainer for ease of location, would stay again! Thanks.

The afternoon tea experience was excellent, the tea room is modern and welcoming. Without a doubt what made it a success was the friendly staff who could not do enough for you. In particular 'Albi' the male host in charge of the Tea Room. His enthusiasm and constant attention to his customers provides this hotel with a top class ambassador. My wife and I have dinned at the Ritz in London and have not witnessed such attention as displayed by 'Albi' He is a credit to his profession. Many thanks for making it a memorable afternoon.

We had a small room but it was very clean and they provided anything we needed.

Excellent hotel, ideally situated for central Birmingham… Only downside was 1member of staff when checking out in the morning, caused a delay and me to be late for work. Also allow £16 + for 12 hours + parking.

Very nice hotel with decorative interior and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are quite quiet in the evening for sleeping. It was however very hot as the air conditioning didn't do much.

The staff are smartly dressed and have a warm attitude, so that's why it's not a one star. rooms say queen but more like a double or king size, Mattress very uncomfortable. Air con is of poor standard (cold air only by door). Shower only no bath tub and bathroom is very small also. Good size TV and furniture in room. walking distance to Bars Restaurants and Clubs so no cabs or public transport required.

A lovely setting with great staff and brilliant facilities. A bit too expensive for drinks though. Paid over £5 for a pint! I thought I was in central London!

Attended a very pleasant Christmas party on Friday night! Nice room for the sit-down dinner, friendly waiting staff and great after party downstairs in the bar with a fab dj. Very enjoyable evening!

Excellent and attentive staff, the room was clean and had everything that we needed for our one night stay. Couldn't ask for a better location, in the heart of everything! No taxis required which is a great plus!

The meeting rooms are spacious and the other facilities are comfortable.

Stayed for one night. Chosen because of its easy reach to the Arena Birmingham. … Five minutes walk away. Room was clean and we'll equipped. Staff were really friendly and helpful and found the time to offer guidance where needed. Enjoyed the attention to detail, phone sockets near tables in the dining room, personal bedside lighting, complimentary drinks and snacks in the reception area, newspapers and comfortable seating to fit all shapes and sizes. Would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel and am planning a return visit ourselves.

Very nice hotel, well presented decor with friendly, helpful staff. Parking is limited to around 20 spaces (only seen it half full but your mileage will vary! ) in an underground car park but a multistorey next door available if full. Room has everything you'd expect with hair dryer, iron+ironing board, safe and minibar. Nice bathroom. No issue with maintenance!

Stayed at this location a number of times and I've always been welcome on my return. 5 minute cab ride from New Street station and it has some great restaurants in the vicinity. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable, it's pretty quiet even though you're right on top of Broad Street too. Nice bar and restaurant.

We had a really good stay at The Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham. The room was really comfortable and bright and clean. Room service was excellent and the room was kept supplied with tea and coffee. The staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was an excellent hotel and I can't really fault it at all. Check in was fast and easy, my room was comfortable and provided all the amenities I required. The shower was excellent and the location not only allowed easy access to my business meeting but was good for exploring the city too. No problems experienced with the service during my stay.

Very well located, it is a great base point to tour around, you have buses taxes just minuets away, there is a lot of places to eat and to visit. The hotel is a really nice place to stay at, the staff are so helpful and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible and as enjoyable as you want it to be. Highly recommend.

A nice clean and well located hotel. Perfectly situated just off the main Broad Street area in the Brindley Place complex. Easy walking distance to all the main sites.

Nice clean and comfy room, a little small compared with other Hiltons'. Good location, near a load of really good restaurants. Parking is limited, but a Q-Park is 100yards away, so not really a problem.

Nice hotel in the Heart of Birmingham. Ideally placed for a night out. Rooms were very comfortable and staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was very nice too.

The Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently placed for getting to best of the centre of Birmingham. Rooms are reasonably spacious and come with a handy fridge which you can either stock from the shop in the hotel reception or from one of the shops close by the hotel. (This is the cheaper option) The hotel has sadly removed the Apple tv's in favour of a standard tv. The screen is much larger though and fitted to the wall at the end of the bed so you can watch in comfort. Although I had breakfast included with my room I chose not to take it as I had doubts as to the availability of vegan options. The hotel rooms don't have much in the way of soundproofing either so you hear a lot of shouting, car horns etc from outside during the night. But overall it is a pleasant place to stay while working away.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Location is good, gives great access to the financial area for business and broad Street and the canals for pleasure.

Very plesant stay. I must admit I was a bit bemused at no main light in the main part of the room and by the time I got back, quite bladdered from a free bar all night I didn't care less. If I were staying longer I would have questioned it. Breakfast was top notch however not sure how much it costs generally.

Staff were polite and helpful. Conference food wasn't brilliant for this standard of hotel. But overall this venue was good.

My first choice hotel when I am staying in Birmingham. The location is quite good, with the bars and restaurants of Brindleyplace a few minutes walk away, and the main city centre about a 15 minute walk. The rooms are nicely furnished, thick and fluffy quilts, Apple computers as TVs, etc. Breakfast is the standout feature, being a huge amount better than the usual hotel breakfast.

Expensive and pretty average inside… I stay in Travelodges regularly, and its stange to say but room wise, travelodges are as good if not better. Great location for city shopping. Stayed here to visit the Christmas market. Would recomend, but not worth the price.
