Very nice place to stay. Located on beautiful grounds with plenty of rabbits roaming free. Beers cost about £5 which is about twice the price of a pint in the local town. The rooms are beautiful, cleaned every day, with plenty of premium channels on the TV. The only issue I had was the cost of a beer and its proximity to the nearest town Kenilworth which is about 2. 2 miles away. Good if you want a getaway or if you have some form of transport

Was here for a wedding recently. The food was vegetarian and it was absolutely wonderful. As a non-vegetarian I did not feel I was missing out on anything! The staff were very attentive and the hotel is very nice and set in lovely grounds.

Great Hotel with small room and cod with no mattresses. I had my Baby with me and the hotel staff give me cod with no mattresses plain cod. I asked and they said we do not provide mattress. Also check out is 11 am after that it is £10 and hours. There was not enough parking for everyone. We have to park on the green grass and where ever we can. Our room door was very heavy and difficult to open or close (room 209).

Went for a work function. Was very impressed by the hotel. Excellent food coupled with excellent, attentive staff made for a very enjoyable evening. Set in a lovely location but easy to get to from Mway network. I Would more than consider staying here.

They make the best food. Prices are very expensive though (£5 for a pint of Heineken) so be prepared to dish out your life savings if you want to stay, eat and drink here for a longer period of time. Otherwise it's great. Venue doesn't smell, looks amazing with old oak interior designs still there and in amazing condition. Not sure about the rooms they have but for the hefty prices there I would expect the best of the best.

I had a bit of trouble staying here for a conference. I got very ill (as did some others so not sure if it was the food as we had eaten what was served by the hotel at the conference) — I was so ill I actually had an ambulance out. Once I began to recover I needed to eat something. I am vegan so asked at the bar if they had a vegan option. The bar man checked with the chef who assured me twice that the pasta dish on the menu was vegan. I then ordered room service and double checked again that the food was vegan and was assured it was. When it came it was fresh egg pasta covered in cheese. To their credit I sent it back and was refunded for the meal and ordered just chips as this was the only option for me. The conference room was good and the rooms were clean and large which was good as I had to spend a lot of time in my room. I was not checked on be any member of staff nor any mention when I checked out even though they knew I had been ill. Slightly impersonal service. The 3* is for the cleanliness of the room and was a good basic service but no personal extras and dire knowledge of dietary requirements (although my veganism is a choice, if I had allergies it could have been worse… and these are trained chefs! It's not hard! ).

Large hotel part of Qhotels group. The hotel does special deals of 2 or 3 night's dinner bed and breakfast. The hotel is used a lot for corporate and business functions the bar can get quite busy and noisy at around 7pm. Breakfast self service evening meal waiter service good choice and excellent meals. It has a Spa and pool. Ideal base for visiting Kenilworth or Warwick Castles also Coventry cathedral and Transport museum. It is also well positioned for quite a few National Trust properties.

The hotels nice but not amazing! It’s fine for a weekend break but I wouldn’t want to stay for much longer. The rooms are pretty small and we were placed in one right opposite an office which meant we were woken on a Saturday before 8 — not what you want when you’re on a weekend break! We also reserved a table for dinner in the hotel on our first night only to be told they couldn’t actually fit us in when we turned up. They eventually resolved this and the food was nice.

**Highly Recommend** Stayed in a upgraded family room as we had brought along our two children. Room was clean, extremely spacious with a mini fridge. Also we had TWO very comfortable double beds, therefore all four of us slept very well. We heard not a sound through the evening (may be due to the room being positioned quite a way from main function rooms). Breakfast was very good with lots of choice! All staff very friendly. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again should we ever pass that way in the future.

Reasonably priced hotel with good amenities. Food was good although the service was a little slow. To be fair they did have a function on at the time. Rooms were clean and well sized and the grounds and building are well presented. Parking was a bit limited also, but that was probably due to the function. Had pressed blade of beef which was lovely!

Plenty of parking space and nice capacity conference halls. Also plenty of rooms for accomodation. Rooms are tidy and beds are comfy. An ideal place to arrange conferences, company events and workshops. My only issue was food. Its not that good specifically the main courses hence I have deducted a star.

Huge place used for conferences, exhibitions and meetings. Despite that it still feels "homely" and comfortable enough due to layout being sectioned into reasonable sized spaces. Room was a little hipster modern style for my taste but still warm and comfortable. Nice big clean bathroom all in good working order. Service was excellent, our (meeting) group was taken care of professionally and with a smile. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. Hotel well located in a lovely country setting, but convenient for Birmingham airport and motorway. Would definitely consider it again if I'm on business in the area. Nicer feel and ambience than the hotels around the airport.

Good conference facilities. Spacious events facilities. Parking plenty. Food average (although option to order poached eggs at breakfast is good, veggie sausages poor! ). Didn't try spa facilities but they're there. Room ok, but pillows POOR, so ask for better ones… I had 2 nights of poor sleep, unusual for me). Price reasonable.

Rooms a bit dim. Need a light in the ceiling. Also no plugs near the bed which really frustrates me with hotels. However place was clean and tidy, breakfast was really good bar menu a bit lacking and a 4 quid tray charge is a bit much. I would rather give that as a tip. On the whole good place, friendly staff and tidy breakfast.

The rooms appeared clean but there were lots if marks on the writing desk and mirror. Bed was nice but the pillows were very soft (my preference is firmer). The food prices are on the high side within the bar area which I had to use due to the restaurant being closed for a private party that I wasn't informed about. The grounds are lovely. It has a spa and gym but I didn't use them. Breakfast is your usual fair of cereal and English cooked, pastries see available too.

I stayed recently for a conference and then at extra night when my husband joined me. I stayed in one of the standard rooms and then had the last night in a superior room. My stay was overall ok, rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The superior rooms do give you more space and better tea/coffee/water/toiletries than the standard rooms. They are also a lot more airy and light. There were some things that the hotel could improve on. Customer service was lacking by some of the staff there. Some of the reception staff (not all) were rather surly when we initially arrived and provided us with hardly any information about where the rooms were, lifts, facilities and where to get our booked dinners and breakfast for the conference. A few smiles would have helped to welcome us too. Food at the hotel was also overpriced and lacking in quantity and quality. We had the bar food and it was extortionate for the amount of food you receive. £7. 00 for two rather small baskets of chips is just crazy! We overhead another guest complain about the quantity of cheese on his cheese platter which was £8. 50, which he sent back and refused to pay. We also had other people's drinks added to our room bill as the bar staff put the wrong orders into the till, as they were trying to use it at the same time. The labelling and selection of vegetarian/special dietary food at the conference buffet was dismal.

This is a 4 star hotel. We stayed in a king bedroom. The bed was comfortable, but the room was not as clean as we expected. Wall, lamp shades and radiator were full of dust. The room air-conditioning was not working. We experienced a dinner service in the hotel's restaurant that was very disappointing. Our meal were tasty and nicely presented however it was let down by a very long waiting time. Simple dinner took almost 3 hours! The restaurant staff was not attentive at all.

The venue was nice, but the bar was very expensive, though I suppose that could be expected from a hotel. When I asked the waiters about the wine they were serving all they knew was "it's French wine". The dessert was tasty and nicely presented but the soup and main course were lacklustre, the main: chicken in a taragon jus, being reminiscent of a school roast dinner. Given the friendliness if the staff and appearance of the hotel however, I'd give it a 3/5.

We stayed as a group on coach trip. Everyone there was very polite and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were good although has trouble with the heater. The food was ok. Breakfast was excellent. Everything you could wish for. Because we stayed as a group we had different evening menu and although we had several choices sometimes it wasn't up to scratch! Also quite small meals, ii. E one potato cut in half. Porridge when asked for was a disaster! Luke warm and not cooked! Don't think would stay again, although the staff made up for any faults there.
