Really nice, value for money. Extremely helpful pleasant staff.

This hotel is disgraceful! It is not wheelchair accessible, rubbish in corridors and against fire exits, dirty laundry by the reception area and the cups in the rooms are filthy. I stayed an hour and asked for a refund.

We were handed our key in an envelope and were told it had been sanitised. This was the only clean thing in the hotel. The rooms were not very clean at all. The layer of dust along to top of skirting boards and the top of radiators was disgusting. There was also a small piece of metal bar from a body piercing on the carpet near the middle of the floor so it clearly hadn’t been vaccuumed before our arrival. Staff were pleasant enough and the hotel is well located but needs a deep clean and a refurb.

Comfortable bed, nice clean room, breakfast is very nice, located in a thriving area of Newcastle. Staff very warm and welcoming — couldn’t do enough for you.

Too hot. Too noisy. Curtains keep out zero light. Quite dirty. To be fair, it's well located and cheap.

Located in the famous Jesmon district of Newcastle, very close to the city centre with easy access in public transport or walking.

Just had a lovely girly shopping break and must say this hotel is fantastic. Lovely friendly staff. Rooms really light and comfortable … breakfast was delicious and the added bonus of the nicest Italian restaurant right next door!

Very warm and frendley the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast excellent evening meal in the restaurant beutifull. Called taxes when I wanted them. With the wife in hospital was nice to talk to someone to off load with a cupple of beers. I highly recommend will definitely stay hear again when we come over for night out and shopping trips thanks again Sharon and rest of the girls top job x.

Me and my friend had a girlie weekend in Newcastle and picked Osborne hotel, room abit dated but… beds sooo comfy n clean n warm. Very good value. Breakfast was great, staff on reception (Tanya, Tricia can't remember her name) was so welcoming and friendly and we had dinner in the Antico next door, food fab and the staff again so friendly and very welcoming. Loved it and will definitely return.

Nice, small Hotel. Looks well maintained, nice staff, well located. Parking situation is not quite so easy, but still doable.

Welcome was good our room was great after we asked for a different one first rate breakfast will deffinately stay here again.

Room was fine, nothing fancy but did the job. Service at breakfast was VERY slow and I didn't appreciate actually being tutted at when I asked for a cereal bowl. If they were more organised the bowls would have been there already and I wouldn't have also had to ask for top ups on the milk and juice jugs. Even a glass of water turned into an effort. I apologise for being your guest.

Booked a single ensuite, bedroom a reasonable size and liked the modern shower/toilet room. A tight squeeze though! Cleanliness of room good although found some clothing from a previous guest in the wardrobe. Breakfast ok, cooked available on request (fast but average), cereal etc available too. I asked if they had any soy milk and the lady at breakfast service bought some for me the next day. Very appreciated! Parking spaces limited so make sure you get there early if you need a space! Wifi virtually impossible to use from the room so bear this in mind if you need internet connection.

Stay here all the time when over at the football can't recommend it enough Sharon and leanne are very welcoming clean and a great breakfast over again on the 16th December for a weekend break cant wait would highly recommend.

We booked the hotel because parking was available, on arrival the parking turned out to be space between buildings at the rear of the hotel supposedly for 4 vehicles. On arrival they were fully occupied by three cars belonging to the restaurant staff. The room at first glance seemed clean but this was due to it having recently been decorated. A slightly deeper glance revealed ingrained dirt in secluded corners especially in the bathroom and the shower enclosure was a breeding ground for black mould. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and it was adequate. On the possitive side the staff were helpful and friendly but I would only recommend it only if every other room in Newcastle was booked.

I was truly disgusted at every aspect of the stay and the quality of the hotel. On arrival I was informed that there was no booking for me and that my friend and I would have to share a bed for the weekend. The staff showed no sign of having any training in the hotel business and was subsequently only taking instructions from a 3rd party over the phone. This took over 1 hour to finalise, while we were instructed to wait in the reception area that I can only describe as filthy. There were fast food take away remains, in wrappers, on the fireplace and thrown on the floor, some of which remained for the weekend. There were various items of clothing left strewn over the reception desk and area. The only concern of the receptionist was answering his mobile phone which rang constantly. A family room was eventually located and we were given this. Initially they intended charging extra for this privilege, however reconsidered when I expressed my surprise. The way to the 'Family' room was littered with toilet paper strewn across the carpet. On arrival in the room at past 1am I felt the need to use the bathroom. As soon as I closed the door the handle fell to the floor, locking me inside. It was purely good luck that my friend was there to open it from the other side. The towel rail in the bath room also fell to pieces when I removed a towel after washing my hands. The carpet in the room was covered in burns from an Iron and cigarette burns.
