It's a beautiful place to run meetings and workshops. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Made me feel at home from the time I walked in to the time I left. I would highly recommend the Pub On The Prom/Prom Hotel as a meeting place.

It’s been a while but had a lovely meal in the bar last night. Good quality ingredients and friendly efficient service. Thank you we will be back again soon.

We enjoyed the most amazing Christmas party there last night. Delicious food, great staff and fab music to dance the night away to with the other friendly party goers. 🎉👏. Well done The Prom.!

really lovely member of staff the server we had she was attentive to everyone and went out of her way to make sure everyone was safe / well looked after and had everything they wanted / needed wish I caught her name her customer service went above and beyond.

Great place to stay. Great bar and selection of drinks. The staff are very freindly and happy. Very welcoming. The bistro is excellent and the staff are in top form. Can't recommend enough. The staff are a real plus to making this a good stay. Came her for a quick weekend break. Thank to you all. The bar supervisor is so welcoming and also the girl in bistro is in point. Will dungarees recommend and come again.

Just returned from our second stay at the Prom Hotel and once again we can’t fault it. Best hotel we have stayed in and all facilities are well kept. Great breakfast choices too.
We will be back.

Thank you for a great stay. The room was immaculate and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Bobby and his stories. Highlight was meeting Vicky who made us feel very special and arranged for Strictly on the telly.

The staff here are absolutely amazing, so polite and always checking in and always smiling! I will 100% be coming back, brilliant service and a lovely place to sit in. Highly recommend to anyone in Great Yarmouth.

Would definitely recommend anyone to book at the prom hotel! They helped me when In need of a room due to other hotel not being nice, and were very good in helping to find an affordable room.

We had a couple of drinks in the pub, very warm atmosphere, clean and tidy throughout. The staff were very friendly and the beer was good; all you need in a pub. Would recommend this place.

The food and service was amazing, would recommend to anyone the price was spot on.

The staff are brilliant very helpful and the rooms are lovely and food is delicious.

Disgusting treatment and a very dusty noisy room. What should have been a special day was ruined. My daughter and her fiancé being charged twice for a room that had been pre booked on booking. Com, and paid for and then being refused a refund after being assured and apologised to by a member of staff admitting it was their mistake. After several phone calls we have been refunded by booking. Com who also agreed that it was down to the hotel to refund and also being generous enough to pay the amount the prom charged as opposed to what was paid on booking. Com. Room service was not very good either and had to recall after an hour as had not received their order, to be told there was a miscommunication with the kitchen. Dreadful behaviour for a hotel like this and I certainly won’t be recommending them to anybody anytime soon.

We only used the mermaid bar for dinner but it was lovely. Nice decor, friendly staff and great atmosphere. We left through the hotel reception and it looked great. I’d like to stay at the hotel sometime.

Just left here today after a weekend away. Amazing hotel, clean and tidy. Very nice food, staff are all as equally amazing. Couldn’t do enough for us. Great with children never once felt unwelcome with my noisy two year old Defiantly be coming again.

Just come back from the Prom hotel it was my 40th birthday and everything was amazing the staff were so nice and helped my husband set up a lovely lunch with balloons and bubbly for 14 of us. The food was amazing, the rooms were lovely, perfect location for perfect weekend away thank you for everything x.

It's actually great value for your money! Hotel is right in front of the beach… Very clean and well looked after place got no complaints what's so ever our rooms was perfectly clean and air conditioned to double glazed windows so you hear no noise from the main street what is really great staff are excellent very polite and we'll mannered! We didn't drink or eat at the restaurant so I can't comment but when looked to the menu food seemed very nice and not expensive either … We had breakfast at the hotel it was cooked to order from fresh and yet again it was absolutely great just like the lady who served us she seemed so busy running around taking care of customers but still kept very positive attitude and provided us with the best service! Great service we will be coming back!

Arguably the best and most central location in the whole of Great Yarmouth resort. Well run pub and hotel, comfortable and offering good food and drinks, popular though endless football a bit of a downer unless you like that sort of thing.

This is probably the best place for a good pint or wine in the area. The food is good and again reasonable prices. I haven't stayed in the hotel but from what I have been told by guest's it's clean and has all the usual comforts. However looking at the price for a room you may want too look around first. And parking is also a bit of a challenge.

We visited the Prom Hotel with Celtic Travel on a 5 day short break. We can't praise it highly enough. Our room has a king size bed and quality bedding, the bathroom is beautifully decorated. The food has been wonderful, being both well cooked and perfectly presented by the excellent waiting staff. If anything we have overreaten whilst here. The bars and public areas are very clean and the bar staff especially are all eager to help. They are a credit to the Prom Hotel. Overall I can't praise the hotel highly enough. It is situated within walking distance of both the shopping area and the beach.

The food was really enjoyable and tasty. It was saved very quickly and was hot. The staff were very friendly and happy and seemed to enjoy their job. Would definitely go again.

Probably the best and most convenient place to stay in Great Yarmouth. My main concern is that if you are looking for a quiet sleep night time… This is not the place. Friendly staff and clean facilities. I would suggest to pay for the included breakfast.

A nice pub, quite large with a dedicated restaurant area, food can be ordered from any table though. Beer and food prices are reasonable!. We found that as we sat by the window that there was a draught, due to non double glazed windows. There is also outside seating to which again food is available.

Really nice place to eat. Great food and well presented but not as much as you would expect to pay for it. Staff were attentive without hovering. Extensive gin menu too!

Its a shame we moved I went here every Sunday amazing food I could only have fish but I loved it well done pub on the Prom.

We visited great Yarmouth asking where was best for food and drink, where told on many occasions this pub, and it didn't disappoint. Food was fab, bar staff couldn't have been any more helpful, my husband likes his real ales and didn't know which one to choose from so they asked if he would like to try them all so he did. Very nice pub.

Welcoming bar staff who are very efficient. DJ playing tunes in the corner of the room. He was taking no song play requests, even though my group of 10 people were the only ones in pub till closing. Obviously the DJ was trying to please himself rather than customers on this night. But to be fair the beer and wine was reasonably priced, and the environment warm and welcoming on a winters Thursday evening in December. Probably the best pub on the seafront in Gt Yarmouth.

Very nice… but stop old hotel. Breakfast in the green room is very good — all the waitresses are extremely nice and accommodating. Directly in the hotel you can also find the pub "pub at the Prom"… Very British. … but I like it!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. This is the second year running that we've been here for my works Christmas Party. It's got a lovely atmosphere and very clean and the food is absolutely wonderful and portions are just the right size. I haven't stayed in any of the rooms so can't comment on them. It is opposite the cinema on the seafront. Would highly recommend it.

Don't know anything about the hotel. Only called in for a few drinks. The bar has a good selection of drinks, food other people were having looked nice, the bar staff were very polite and the bar area has really cosy atmosphere.

Excellent value sunday carvery. Very nice restaurant too.

In the heart of Great Yarmouth — a bit expensive but great service.

Very quiet although it was lunch time nice sandwich and delicious chips, was very expensive for a sandwich though.

We paid a visit to Gt Yarmouth on 21st August 2017. Spotted the Prom Hotel and decided to eat there. Not expecting a great eating experience we were very much surprised. The staff were extreamly helpful, polite and chatty and the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Well done all 10 out of 10.

Today my friend Valerie Lang and I ordered our food and paided… sat at table 4 and waited. Our food arrived which felt like 20 mins. Valerie food arrived roasted Norfolk chicken breast, I ordered chill on carne, which turned out to be Thai green curry. The waitress Jasmine asked what's wrong and took away the plate. Soon returning apologising also offering me a complimentary FREE DRINK! I think that's a fantastic service of an apology and an offer of a FREE drink as a sorry. I ordered Rekorderlig strawberry n lime. My chill con carne soon arrived I totally enjoyed my great food plus my mouth watering FREE drink. Thank you The Prom Hotel … great customer service. I'll return again. X.

Beautiful hotel on Great Yarmouth sea front. Very friendly as attentive staff. Only 5mins away from attractions.

The Prom Hotel is a Amazing bar. With a large selection of Food and Drinks, good prices and several ways to entertain yourself. The bar area and outside are well kept and tidy as well as friendly and experienced staff that always seem to be on top of things no matter how busy.

Decent real ales. Nice friendly staff. Well kept clean bar. Food looks superb.

I booked in at Strollers restaurant for fathers day lunch with my brother and parents. We have been there before and it is excellent. I had the braised pork belly which mouthwateringly delicious followed by lemon posset. The lemon posset has to be the best dessert I have had. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy good food and wines. I will be going back next time I am in visiting my parents in Great Yarmouth.

Only stopped for food, not overnight. One of the few places open for food during the week, food was okay but for the price I'd have expected better. Staff were friendly enough at the bar and dressed smart. If no where else was open I'd go again. The entrance is only accessible by stairs and fairly steep if anyone has mobility issues.

Having stayed in there for two weeks at a time every month was a pleasure. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are the most friendly bunch I have had the pleasure to be looked after at a hotel.
I travel a lot with work and get to use and see lots of hotels, and I put this right up there with the top ones The food is very very nice and all fresh and like being home from home with there standards.
The hotel covers about everything you need from having sport on if you want it, to a nice meal and dinning area.
If there isn't something that is right for you, then they make it corrrect and how you like it.
The overall stay has been fantastic and I would definitely stay there next time I am down there.

Had the best rib-eye steak iv ever had here my partner had BBQ chicken and portions were huge which we like. A little bit dearer than what we usually pay but u get what u pay for as they say.

Fab hotel in a great situation, with friendly staff and absolutely spotless. We had the "family" room which was in fact more like a suite with two large rooms both with large flatscreen tv's a huge fridge which is great for families. Staff were fantastic we will see you next year guys.

Nice pub on seafront. Good choice of beers and friendly staff. Nice old Victorian building refurbished to good standard. We thought this a very good pub for a lunch or a couple in the evening.

Wow, this place is a gem. If you are hungry then look no further. Ive never seen a piece of cod so big, the portion sizes are huge and the Sunday lunch is worthy of a much higher price. Very child friendly, we have three young girls and nothing was too much trouble. Real ale drinkers will love this place with 4 very different style ales available plus other standard bitters. I tried Adnams Ghost Ship which was great. Staff are very friendly and facilities as you would expect from a 4-5 star hotel. We only popped in for food not expecting a lot and ended up with one of the best holiday meal experiences Ive had. Brilliant.

Myself and my husband go to yarmouth every year for his birthday. For the past 2 years when it was called bar rouge, we have stayed here and it is fantastic! we are coming back this year! clean. Well furnished,, good food. And the staff are sooo friendly! and it is right on the sea front and close to town. This is a MUST STAY hotel! laura carr.
