Just had the worse meal ever from the hundon plough. There were 5 of us and none of us enjoyed our Sunday roast. Pork and beef overcooked, potatoes dry and over cooked and to top it off the flat white we ordered had out of date milk, which stunk sour and has made me feel sick thinking about it! Not sure if it’s changed hands recently but won’t be returning anytime soon. Terrible.
First time we have been up there for years and the food was fantastic and staff really friendly. Will be returning again.

We went to the Plough tonight for the first time in over a year and we were incredibly impressed. The service was impeccable for a start. We were greeted warmly, the menu was diverse and not too expensive. We happened to be there on a special night which was Ribs and Rump. A rump steak or full rack of ribs with your choice of sauces and a wedge salad with your choice of dressing, with a bottle of wine, all for £35. The food was INCREDIBLE. Steak cooked perfectly, ribs falling off the bone. The wine was good and we shared a good size portion of chocolate lava cake to finish. We will be back as often as possible! Highly recommended.
