Single room well proportioned and very clean. Sky TV, hair dryer, alarm clock etc. Bathroom clean and tidy tea making facilities. The only thing that let it down was the shower head. It was shocking. More like a mist than a stream. Ended upon unscrewing the head and using the shower like a hose pipe ^^

Excellent quiet location, yet easy reach of motorway for our journey south. Very comfortable, friendly staff, good food. Lots of parking.

Stayed at hotel in June at a reunion. Great weekend, staff very helpful. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to going back again in September.

Stopped of on my way to Holyhead from London. The single room was great, clean and the bed was comfortable. The car park is secure and within the grounds of the hotel. I booked early and got the room cheap, I tried to book again for the return leg but booked late and it was twice the price. Would definitely book and stay again.

Nice and clean rooms for a 3 star nice sleep there too and the Brekfast was really nice.

After work training meeting tonight. Nice meeting room, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that let it down was the coffee. It was undrinkable. Note to catering manager check what you are serving.

Smart and very easy to get to from M6 toll. Great venue for meetings. Buffet food ok.

Well room was OK tidy apart from ripped duvet and even asking them to change it the next day we ended up with more ripped duvet. Sky TV a plus but heating didn't work first night fixed on second day. In room over head bed lights don't work no bulbs in them bulbs put in on second day. Staff friendly and atmosphere really good but both bar and restaurant menus very very poor starters are rubbish not what you expected onion bhaji as a starter but they don't do curry? No nachos no chicken goujons no chips only skinny fries at £3.25 and a sharing starter of ham pepperoni and bread for £10 there missing a trick I ate out for dinner and tea due to poor choices and prices this needs amending before I stay again, family of 4 they could of made some money. Other than this it was reasonable that's a shame cause it could of been great. Oh its only my first of 3 nights will see what breakfast is like.

Very comfortable stay, I had a single room buy it wasn't tucked away in a forgotten corner, there was sufficient room and adequate amenities, the room had a TV and sky box, iron and board plus hairdryer. Only improvement I'd suggest is a normal kettle rather than a travel kettle.

For a Best Western hotel it is the worst one I have been to in the last 6 years we had a set meal pate and the bread was rock hard I asked for a roll and they gave me another piece of bread if I had dropped it on the floor it would have broke into pieces the main meal was served on a plate about 8 inches which you expect to get in a241 establishment the desert well I can't explain it we had coffee and teas for a total of 8 we had a jug of milk which would serve 3 people we ask for more milk which talk 5 to 10 minutes to come in which time my wife coffee add gone cold the best thing of the night was the young lady behind the bar working on a own what was very polite will not be going to this place ever again.

Rooms are pretty small. Ladies toilets near the reception area have awful smell. It feels like the fan from the kitchen blows into there and the whole area stinks of fried food with stale oil.

Food was pretty awful. Service very slow. Although the staff were friendly and helpful. Standard of the rooms starting to look a bit tired.

We went as Guests to A Private Dinner and Dance. Some of the vegetables could have been cooked better. But all other food was good.

A good location about 25 minutes walk from the town centre. Very quiet due to location away from main road. Massive sausages at breakfast! Full Sky TV in room a great plus point too.

Comfortable and clean room. Bar open 24/7 for guests. Lovely cooked and buffet style breakfast. Large car park. Dog friendly with walking area directly in front of hotel.

Best Western Tillington Hall is a lovely hotel, brilliant value for money (we had a winter deal). The major plus is that we could take our dog. The field out the front and side were excellent for walking her and the room was so large, her bed fitted in comfortably. The staff were excellent, friendly, efficient and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they took time to speak to my dog (which she loved of course) and they had a small bag of treats behind the bar, which she also appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again as my mum and sister have just moved to the area.

Went for a christmas meal but it was not very good. Looked like it has been microwaved and was over zapped. Staff serving food were good.

Quiet location just a short distance from the M6. Good size of room with free upgrade as a card holder. Large car park exit signs not very clear. Breakfast and evening meal were as expected for this standard of hotel/price.

Came for a Christmas meal on Saturday evening. Sadly the turkey was dry and vegetables were hard. The waitress was very unfriendly and kept rushing us through our courses. We were very disappointed overall.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, twice. The rooms have everything you need, comfy bed. Good shower pressure and the bonus of a full sky TV package. Bar was well stocked. Food wasnt very good though.

We spent 3 nights here last week. It was a bit of a last minute holiday taking in Alton Towers. (40 mins drive from here) the previous night we had the misfortune of spending the night in a Travelodge in Dublin. With probably the noisiest bunch of people across the hallway. Never again. We got a family room in Tillington with an Irish ferries hotel deal. Our room was a double room with two fold out single beds for our two kids under 6. It was basic yes but nice and very quiet perfect for business travel or for families on a getaway. The beds were comfy and the Hotel was spotless clean. The bathroom looked to me as if it had been recently renovated so it was lovely. The room had Sky TV so that's another plus. The food was lovely both in the bar and in the Restaurant (Bistro). The breakfast is the Full English sausages, bacon, egg, pudding, mushrooms and beans cooked tomatoes aswel as the continental breakfast croissants cereals etc. You name it it's there help yourself. The Staff were friendly polite and were more than helpful. The building itself is an old house with a bedroom block added on. The bad points that I found was that the windows of the bedrooms were single glazed and only opened a little bit. I like to open a window wide In summer time but look that's not gonna be a problem it wasn't for me anyway. Second bad point is that there's some large old trees to the front of the bedroom block.

Great hotel. We have our RAF reunions here. Rooms are super very reasonable price and exceptional setting. Loads of parking but dont park under a tree or its car wash time lol…

Nice quiet location. Perfect if you have to stay over in Stafford. Had a bar meal which was very good. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Decent shower. Overall a great stay. Would recommend.

The service in the restaurant was great as usual but the food has really gone downhill the last few months. The chips were very good though. At the bar there is very rarely a bar member there so you have to stand around and wait or go to reception and ask for service. Again once you see staff they are always friendly and helpful.

Nice place. The place could do with being upgraded. Hotel was hot AC would have been great! Although a fan was provided. The bar needed more staff sometimes it was not staffed for 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Attended this hotel for a social event. Located not far from Stafford town centre (a mile away) & easy to access from the M6. Good facilities & seems well equipped for any small gatherings or groups.

Nice size rooms. Good value for money. Close to m6. Weirdly squeaky hallway floors.

It is the worst and slowest service I have ever experienced in my life so far. We arrived at your restaurant at 18:30 on 15th of March 2016. It took more than an hour to serve the starters, and the main courses werent served until 20:34. It took extremelly long as well for the drinks to arrive. The smoked haddock one of my friends did order arrived lukewarm. The prices were to high for what we got. The burger ban on my order arrived charcoaled (photos to prove it)

Very easy access and very polite staff. Attended a very enjoyable event and a delicious lunch.

Pleasant enough hotel but with no recreational facilities it feels like a hotel on a tight budget.

This is a great hotel, a superb restaurant and great bar. The rooms are always clean, neat and tidy. The staff are always happy and helpful.

This is a lovely hotel to stay at, the whole hotel has been recently redecorated to a very high standard, the food and staff are excellent. Access is brilliant just off jct 14 of the M6. Would highly recommend as the place to stay in Stafford.

I have stayed at Tillington Hall twice in recent months. On both occasions they ignored the booking instructions from my company, and then claimed they had been told differently — so if you must stay here ring to confirm every detail of your booking. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to find a member of staff who is keen to help you, rather than the unhelpful, attitude-ridden staff I've had the misfortune to deal with lately. Food is ok but pricey and not of the highest quality, e. G. The steak I had was undercooked and very stringy. Rooms I've had have been a mix of tiny and tired looking, to decent sized. Overall I'd rather drive the 160 each miles to stafford each day and then back home again if it meant avoiding staying at tillington hall again. Avoid.
