Just returned from a 2 night stay. Everything was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and professional. Hotel was very clean. We enjoyed the spa facilities. We attended for the New Year’s Party and the band were amazing and the Hog Roast was delicious. Considering returning next year.

Lovely rooms lovely staff.

We didn't stay at hotel, but had Sunday lunch. My husband and son had roast berf which they really enjoyed. I had vegan option, which was lovely. Great service as well.

Had a lovely 3 day stay. Very comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Breakfast was delicious every time but I do like baked beans on my cooked breakfast. (Sorry Chef)
Great places for eating out and close to Bath city centre.

Everything was absolutely first class.

Had a family meal there it was wonderful. The staff was lovely and the roast dinner was delicious. Highly recommend lovely place with good food.

Me and my new husband just had our wedding here last Saturday and all the staff at the centurion went above and beyond! Everyone said how organised and beautiful the venue was, the guests that stayed all loved their rooms! Me and my husband have stayed in the bridal suit twice now and it is incredible! They also sorted me and my bridesmaids out with one family room and two double rooms which were very comfortable and spacious for the night before my wedding. They also organised for us to use one of their board rooms for my hair and makeup to set up in which was a life saver! The food provided during our wedding and for breakfast was amazing and no one was left disappointed! I would highly recommend the centurions wedding packages, their hotel rooms for staying the night and also their food as it was all 5 star from me!

First class service and the best food I've ever had in a hotel of its type. Rooms were immaculately clean and were very well specified. Again the food was so well presented and it was nice to see the use of local products. Even the girl at breakfast this morning remembered our preference for our orders Thanks for a fantastic 3 days. Keep up the good work.

The staff here helped me arrange a surprise for our friends on their wedding day of some time just the two of them with some bubbly between their service and reception. The staff were super helpful and accommodating and my friends absolutely loved it. They were able to sit out in the beautiful hotel garden and enjoy themselves. Staff took some pictures for them too which they love. Thank you for all your help!

Whenever we are in the Bath area the Centurian is our hotel of choice. We find the staff very friendly, very helpful and yet still professional. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The only slight niggle was that, because it was so hot during our stay, we had the windows open and our room was close to he road so there was a lot of road noise. BUT, this is not something we have experienced at the Centurion on previous visits and would not stop us from recommending the hotel.

Good value for money. Very cheerful and helpful staff and good food. Amenities in room were basic and adequate. Bed was very comfortable and room was kept very clean.

The hotel is in an excellent location overlooking a golf course, and has easy access to Bath, Bristol and Wells. It has good facilities i. E. Swimming pool and fitness room. Rooms are large and well appointed with comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom, TV and drink making facilities. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Overall we had a good stay.

My mother booked the restaurant for her 80th birthday celebration. I must admit, expectations were pretty low. What a fantastic surprise this place is. First, great staff. Couldn't do enough for us — friendly, helpful, efficient, all done with a smile. Second, clean and in great condition, it was a really great hotel room. Third, excellent food and service in both bar and restaurant. This Great Western must be a family business because these guys will ensure you have a great time. A real gem.

Booked a four bedroom family room. Recieved 3 beds. A kind neighbour offered a z bed and asked for linen. No linen available. No duvet to keep my wife warm. Food. Ran out of all foods like Pizzas, steaks. No food for my kids. I had to book breakfast, no menus at the bar. I'm sent to my room to pick the menu. It's a moment out of Faulty Towers.

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities, also travel size toiletries. We had a Golf view room which also overlooked the pond. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was very well presented as well as enjoyable. The breakfast menu is one of the largest selections I’ve ever seen! So you would have to be extremely picky not to find something. There is outside seating as well as a beautifully appointed lounge and two bars. Gym & jacuzzi etc.
You may think I am going on a bit. However, some years ago we stated at a Best Western in Newquay, and the comparison is as great as Chalk & Cheese. I only booked this one as it was a convenient location. As you can tell, we were very pleasantly surprised.
I am very hapoy to recommend this hotel.

Good base hotel for touring around this beautiful part of the country. Reasonable rates and has everything you might want with a nice spa bath to relax in after a long day exploring.

I love this hotel. Very comfortable, great food and wonderful staff. The breakfast is amazing — a real treat so make sure you go for the B&B option. Nice to have a hotel with an indoor pool as well for those who fancy a dip.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. As part of the stay we got to use the Sauna, Steam Room and Spa pool. However the swimming pool was closed. The hotel is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and the staff were nice. The room was clean. Only a few things I think would help improve: more milk in the bedroom tea/coffee selection, they provide enough tea and coffee for many cups but only enough milk for 2 each. There's shampoo etc in the bathroom but no conditioner, so pack your own, especially if you're going to use the spa. And the room was very hot even though we were there on one of the coldest days of the year, we had to open the windows and put the desk fan on. But otherwise very good hotel. Breakfast was nice as well, they catered for our gluten free needs.

Spent two nights at the Centurian Hotel in Radstock. The room was clean, bed comfortable & there was everything you could possibly want available. I especially appreciated the bottles of water provided. All the members of staff I met were delightful, friendly & helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Centurion in Midsomer Norton / Radstock for three nights in December, enabling us the take in the Bath Christmas Market and a couple of hikes in the Mendips. What a lovely three night break! Our room was very comfortable, with a small entrance hall, a good sized bedroom and a modern bathroom. We did not partake of the spa centre, nor did my wife allow me to bring my golf clubs (! ), so I cannot comment on those amenities, though I understand the the hotel is re-vamping the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent, with a large, self-service buffet and the choice of a cooked breakfast too. In theory it's a 3 star establishment, but I have stayed in worse 4 star hotels so, if in doubt, I suggest you go for it.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It is about 20 minute drive to Odd Down park and ride for Bath city centre. There was ample parking at the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient. Cooked breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We had dinner one day in the bar. The menu is not extensive but the burger was good. Overall we had a good stay. The only niggles were a bit of corridor noise i. E. Doors banging and the walls between rooms seem a bit thin. In the evening the car park did seem to be a bit of a meeting point for local lads on scooters. They created a bit of noise during the evening although it did stop at night. We didn't use the facilities but they have a pool and gym. Other reviewers have commented on noise from weddings etc. But there didn't seem to be anything going on when we stayed so this was not a problem. If you need a place to stay for a night or two near Bath this is definitely a good option and we would return.

Spent 5 nights here and would definitely stay here again. I had an accessible room with a huge walk in shower and more than enough room to use and store my walker. The room was clean and comfortable with nice firm beds. I don't eat breakfast but there was a good selection of hot and cold choices. The staff were wonderful. Friendly and attentive and made the stay a great experience.

Stayed in a family room, 2 adults, 1 toddler and a baby. Staff very accommodating and providing a cot. Nice little touches were leaving 2 bath toys for the boys. Had dinner in the bar both nights, reasonable pricing and very nice food.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Bed a little hard, but that's just personal preference. Breakfast buffet selection is good — the full English recommended. Stayed for dinner one night, we were the only people in the restaurant, but the food was excellent. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Great staff, nice room, lovely leisure and spa facilities. Terrible breakfast, overpriced & over cooked. Nice location. A little disappointed that the sheets weren’t changed when needed.

Attended Lego 'Bricks for Life' at the Hotel so only saw the function rooms. Looks nice. Nice grounds and golf course outside.

Very nice and clean. Well kept property. Nice beautiful rear exposure to golf course. Convenience store just a couple blocks away.

The hotel and staff are very good. The room is also very nice and standard is very good. The dinner meal was well presented but sparce and not worth the cost. Soup was cool temperture and £1 per spoon full. The chicken dinner was nothing more than a tiny drum stick with lots of garnish.

Very quiet, clean, welcoming with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were friendly, room was good, bed was a bit too firm for us. Good selection for breakfast and food was nice.

Absolutely disgusting, these people charged me £80 as I couldn't make it to the hotel as I was bed bound, I wouldn't suggest this place to someone I didn't like! My boyfriend phoned to say I couldn't make it and they went 'we will cancel it, bye' and put the phone down before he could say anything, we might have changed our minds, terrible service and just horrible.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst attending a wedding. The room's were available to check in very early which was very helpful. Handy location, decent size rooms, lovely breakfast. Great service would stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel with a leisure facility. I was only here for an airport stopover but would love to have enjoyed a few more nights to enjoy the surroundings. The staff were kind and welcoming and the restaurant meals were tasty and very well presented although a little pricey.

Surprisingly very good. Rooms are just average largish motel-style ('motel' in the non-UK sense, I don't mean a dump at motorway services) but the hotel has a golf course, gym and pool, very nice manicured grounds and a sense that you've bought a destination, not just a bed for the night. And I know I always rate hotel staff highly, but these really are very good. (Bumped this from 4 to 5 stars after a day of dealing with the superb staff. )

The hotel is a little tired in places but the rooms are large and impeccably clean. Be sure to choose a garden view room as the view is lovely. The food is great, one of the best breakfasts I've had. Overall great service and value… a hidden gem.

A beautiful hotel within a golf course, we stayed in the Leona Suite, the best room in the hotel. The Suite was clean and spacious, my wife loved the very large tiled bathroom with freestanding bath, twin sinks and large walk in shower, the only downside was the toilet has no privacy, the bed was large and comfortable and the separate living are was a good size with a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, flat screen TV, table & chairs and a sofa. In the bedroom there is an ironing board and iron, a safe, hair dryer, radio and another flat screen TV.

I checked in here and cannot praise the staff enough! I had a coupe of issues with me locking myself out of my room but nothing was too much trouble for the staff on reception. They helped me tune in the TV too. Breakfast had an excellent choice, was hot and tasty. Good local knowledge was shared with me for my onward journey. I also had an excellent facial in the Green Apple salon. Overall an excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

The welcome we got on arrival was excellent, really friendly. I was with my 5 year old daughter, and she too was included and spoken to very respectfully. We had help to the room with our bags. Excellent service throughout our one night stay. Room service was perfect, our room was lovely. The only reason for not giving a 5* review was the pool is like poking a bit tired and grubby and our room was just by a fire door, so disturbed sleep when other guests arrived as the door is heavy and slams shut (did not wake the small one though, so not upset about it). I would recommend this hotel xx.

Lovely hotel but over priced 87.50 for room only and won't be paying 15£ for breakfast X Nice surroundings. Lovely views of golf course in parts of the hotel. My room faced the car Park so not so scenic. Jacuzzi was great and well needed after a long drive. My room had no bathtub which is always a disappointment for me Food in bar was ok.

Very pleasant staff. Room very clean. All appliances available and complementary drinks well stocked and good standard. Was placed in ground floor room which was noisy at night.

Went for a round of golf and enjoyed it as always. Relaxed environment and a fun course to play.

The hotel is clean and friendly. My one grip and it was a big one is that they gave us an adjoining room on valentines day. Zero privacy as you could hear everything. That being said the restaurant served up some brilliant food and the room was very clean and well presented. The bed however could do with some work. Rock hard!

Lovely hotel. The decor is nice, clean and simple, the staff are very friendly, the restaurant is nice and beautiful, the breakfast is included and definitely comes with lots of choices and filling, and the room comes with speedy Wi-Fi and hot water and a comfy bed. I couldn't ask for more.

Came here for a spa day and to use the sports facilities. More than happy with the facilities for what we paid, and the jacuzzi, steam rooms etc were great too.

Decent enough stay for Scuba diving at Vobster Quay which is a 7mins drive away. Rooms are spacious but the in room entertainment is lacking with just free view. Bit poor if you just want to get your head down. Couple of bars with free Wi-Fi, very helpful staff and friendly service.
