We were in the area for family wedding and we spent two nights here in comfortable rooms, with beautiful views, at a very reasonable price. The host went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was tasty with a fair choice. We will be hoping to stay here again. Only suggestion for the owner — put up the price to include breakfast rather than having it as an extra. Oh and make sure there's a plastic beaker in bathroom please. Me and my partner went here for a meal yesterday. We were greeted by a young who instantly made you feel welcome and relaxed. The same pattern continued through the nights, the servers were also polite and so helpful. We were luckily enough to see the owner of the restaurant who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. A lovely, friendly, funny guy who made you feel at home in his restaurant. Then the food came out which was amazing. Perfectly cooked chicken that feel apart. Full of flavours as it was perfectly seasoned. Home made chips that were to die for followed up with a lovely fresh salad. One of th best meals I have had in a very long time. The price was very reasonable and for the quality of food maybe even cheap. Will be returning and would suggest this place to everyone.

We decided to go here for a last minute evening meal. We live locally but had never been in and didn't know what to expect. When you park, you're greeted with a very nice view overlooking Somerset. As you walk in the main entrance you enter a very nicely decorated bar which smells of the food below (mostly a BBQ smell as most of the food is cooked using wood and coal). When you're taken downstairs you come to another very nice and modern looking dining area. The reception from the staff seemed frosty at first but I have to say by the end of our meal we had had some of the best customer service I've had in a while. The staff are attentive, helpful and offer a personal touch. Very friendly and chatty. The menu looks basic but comes with some very nice choices. I had the lamb shank with mash and greens; the lamb was cooked to perfection, the greens were fresh and crunchy and the most important thing about the mash was that you could tell it was real and not from a packet! My wife had the risotto which again was perfectly cooked; not too hard and not too mushy. The portion was sizeable too. My three boys had cheeseburger and chips. The burger again was a real and cooked on the coals with real cheddar. The chips were chunky and well cooked. There is a beer garden that could use a little attention however the weather hasn't been great so it's bound to be a little overgrown. Whilst the restaurant itself is kid friendly, the outside area is not so.

Stopped off here on way back from the clarkes village so glad we did the bar and restaurant is lovely modern and exceptionaly clean really welcoming staff lady serving drinks and food was so nice we decided on gammon and the pork belly both were excellently cooked fresh and so tasty very reasonabley priced, coffee was so nice I had another the owner I think was really nice too such a good afternoon will definitely stop again they also have rooms so would be nice to stay as the view iut the back is fabulous its open in the afternoon but doesnt say so on the website. If your passing pop in you wont be disappointed thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Great family atmosphere, superb food, immaculate, stylish bedrooms. A lovely overnight stay, in a beautiful countryside setting. Highly Recommended.

This lovely place deserves a high rating. Me and my partner went for a drink today only to be greated by a lovely gentleman. His hospitality was second to none. We decided to eat and we both were very suprised as to how lovely the food was. I would highly recommend this place for the expertise of the chef and the warm and welcoming staff. It is easy to miss this stunning location so keep a sharp eye on the sign and indicate well before the entrance.

Absolutely love staying here. The food and service is fabulous. Stunning views and great drinks! I always leave with a smile and a full belly.

Was my first time eating at The Olive Mill and I wasn't disappointed! Beautiful Sunday Carvery with a clean and tidy Bar and Restaurant. Staff were friendly and polite but not intrusive. Will definitely be returning soon!

I’ve only eaten here once went for Sunday lunch and for me was the best I’ve had for some time my parents stayed over for two nights here and where not overly impressed with the breakfast or service hence the 4 stars.

Rather slow service but the food was excellent. Went for Sunday lunch, nice outlook over the patio of the valley.

A very convenient location for the surrounding area. Staff are pleasant and helpful right from the start. I highly recommend the Carvery as, unlike some restaurants, The Olive Mill looks to take pride in the quality of the food they have on offer.

Great Sunday carvery at a very reasonable price. They also do fantastic desserts, such as the hummingbird cake which was incredible. Waiting staff are lovely. And the views over the Levels are great.

I went out for a meal here last night and was really impressed. The food was lovely. We had a three course meal. Each dish was presented very well and tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was very good. The atmosphere was also very nice — relaxed. I will definately be visiting again.

Had a 1st class overnight stay dinner and breakfast. Cannot recommend enough All food cooked to order and well worth every penny we spent Will definitly go again when in that area Staff all very friendly and made you feel welcome Hadn't booked just driving along road and saw it Couldn't of picked better if had pre-booked.

Never fails to deliver wonderful Sunday lunch. Fresh veg cooked to perfection. Happy friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

Anyone can do a roast but the olive mill's veg fantastic with everything else superb place.

Expensive wine, expensive starter though good and ghastly pizza.

Had a wonderful meal and evening last night with my wife. Met Mark, who is a really nice guy. The menu and service was great, food even better. Will be finitely be coming back soon. Thankyou.

Absolutely superb food and a lovely restaurant.

Have recently dined here for the third time. This time the weather was good enough to sit on the terrace and admire the fine view. Have always been pleased with the menu, usually has something out of the ordinary. The cooking is excellent. I recommend the mussels with linguine.

Not only are the views from the Restaurant the best we have found in Somerset but the new continental menu matches the view in excelllence. All the staff are freindly and obliging. A place to rest and unwind with a good bottle of wine. Our third visit in as many weeks.

If you are a vegetarian, you might as well stay at home. There were 3 possible dishes, a marguarita pizza, a spaghetti dish and and butter bean dish, I chose the spaghetti dish as I often make the butter bean dish as home. The spaghetti dish was so basic and unspiring, anyone could have made it in 2 minutes and at very little cost. It had a few olives, a few cubes of feta cheese a a couple of cherry tomatoes and a few pieces of red onion, no sauce — just oil. I felt completely ripped off to pay £10. My family were very happy with their Sunday Roast and Whole Sea Bream, which did not cost much more than I had paid.
