Lovely Georgian mansion with beautiful gardens and free car parking, in a quiet area of Bath but only a short walk into the town centre.

Absolutely great place to stay in Bath. Staff super friendly and helpful and great breakfast included which was a bonus. Gorgeous gardens too. Easy 10min walk to town and Roman Baths. Highly recommend to stay.

Just stayed in this charming B&B for 3 nights in the tulip room. Couldn’t fault anything from the service of the staff, comfort of the room, breakfast, parking and perfect location to explore the whole of Bath. Everyone was friendly, helpful and chatty, place was spotless and very welcoming. Excellent.

The staff are courteous, calm and delightful. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, down to the bathrobes, toiletries and fabulous size beds! Nothing too much trouble and a jug of Pimms in the garden a necessity!

The rooms are spectacular. Not only was it quiet and a great night's sleep, the decor is magnificent. The staff, especially the owner, was very welcoming, helpful, and funny! Our stay was perfect and was only a few minutes walk from the centre of town.

Wonderful experience staying at the Arlington. Great room, breakfast, garden and views. Free parking a bonus. Absolutely ideally situated for Bath centre. Overall a terrific fun break. BTW the staff are faultless. We look forward to our next break. Thank you.

Really comfortable bed and pillows. The place was nice and cozy. Very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered to keep our luggage after checkout in case we wanted to explore the city more. The traditional breakfast was really tasty with high quality ingredients.

Situated just 15 minutes walk from the Roman Baths and the City centre, The Ayrlington has all the grandeur of a late Victorian town house. Beautiful, high ceiling rooms that are individually and tastefully decorated, warm and inviting common rooms and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is highly recommended and sets you up for the day. Would not hesitate to recommend this boutique hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Bath.

Absolutely loved our stay! The staff were amazing from the waiting staff to the manager! We stayed in the grand suite which is gorgeous and ended up staying another night as we enjoyed so much! The eggs benedict was amazing my partner had the breakfast which she loved. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed in the Ayrlington on the 18 jan our room was very contemporary beautiful, endless cup of tea or coffee available in our room the whole place is spotlessly clean, the staff are very helpful especially mark the manager (as we had problems with our car) we were invited to stay in the lounge and given hot drinks Thanks.

This place was very clean with big room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a great view of downtown bath and a great location. It was a 10 minute walk to just about anywhere in bath. I would stay here again.

A nice hotel with excellent staff but not 5 star in my opinion, the decor was tired… our room was very dimly lit (the owners wife's choice, we were told), Light fittings missing parts, bubbling paint and chipped paint. The head board on our bed was loose and knocked against the wall when we moved in bed and the door to our room rattled in its frame adding to a restless night for us. Breakfast was excellent though and with little parking in Bath the Ayrlington offered off street parking and even guaranteed it untill 2 pm on the day of check out.

A very nice hotel, clean, pleasant and very helpful staff. Ideally situated for Bath town centre, and a great breakfast to start the day. Room's, very clean and comfortable, can't fault this little gem.

We just left the Ayrlington after a 2 night stay in the Victorian room. Johnny, as well as every other staff member we encountered, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Although we arrived early and left in the afternoon, after checkout, Johnny was happy to find a place for our bags and served us a steaming hot cuppa tea while we waited for our taxi to pick us up. The room was large and well-appointed, equipped with a kettle and daily supply of shortbread cookies to go with our tea There was a full-sized bathroom, including a tub/shower! The bed was quite comfortable and there were nice wingback chairs to relax in. The breakfast was excellent! It included a good selection of fruit, cereals, cheese, yogurt and juices as well as a full hot menu from which to order. As I mentioned the staff were fantastic. We would stay again and highly recommend this to friends and family!

We were very kindly upgraded to the grand suite for my 30th birthday stay, it was absolutely incredible! The most amazing room with it's very own private terrace in the sun trap garden! Staff were wonderful & the bar was very reasonably priced. The location was perfect a short walk into town & to Sotto Sotto Italian restaurant. Thank you for a fabulous stay we won't forget ❤️ Xxx.

Great B&B. More like a hotel. Great location, friendly staff, great rooms, great breakfast. Can't fault it. Our second stay here. We will be back.

Stayed in Tulip room overlooking front of hotel. No lift due to building listing regulations. 15 minutes walk from town centre. Excellent breakfast, but sadly did not do dinner so ate out. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom fairly big and shower worked very well. Hotel bar own all day. Has key fob access to front of hotel. Room for around 12 cars in front of hotel. Hotel staff extremely helpful and nice. Recommended.

Just spent a night here in the Grande Suite and loved it. The whole experience was lovely, great staff with a good knowledge of the area. Absolutely amazing room with everything we could have needed. Breakfast was served in a loving dining room by equally lovely staff.

Dreadful and do not be fooled into thinking you will get a room as pictured on website. As what we got given for £380 for two nights including breakfast was a disgrace mould in bathroom on ceiling, bath tiles, hairs in bath, silicone split and mouldy, rusty radiator, window in bedroom not able to be open and stifling conditions. Supposedly 5 Star accommodation. We wanted to move room on first night but fully occupied. Couldn't get hotel elsewhere so had to stay. Next day manager told receptionist to take all money for both nights with 20% discount only. We only stayed one night! Appalling customer service from the Manager. Wish I could post the disgusting photos we have of the poor conditions. Taking this up with AA also now as we would like to understand how they rate a hotel 5 star when refurbishment has only been partially undertaken. Disgraceful. If you do stay make sure they guarantee you a refurbished room. Food is not five star it is just adequate. So disappointed for our wedding anniversary celebrations, thank goodness for Bath itself and the Therme Spa we went to.

We like to get away when we can and the Ayrlington Hotel is one of the best we've ever stayed in. Even before we arived the service was 1st class with good communication and feed back to all our questions. The suite was fantastic, all the pictures on line did not do it justice, clean and well mentained throughout. The breakfast was to the same high standard as all the rest with a good choice. I would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel and would like to offer my personal thanks to Jonny on reception and the hotel manager David for a 1st class break. Looking forward to next time. PS The city of Bath was good too. Again thankyou all. Paul & Sharon.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay here on Feb 14th and Feb 15th 2016. We stayed in the Orchid room which is very spacious. There is an outside window but no view as lower ground. We were warned of this on the website. The bathroom is spacious with a big shower. The room came equipped with tea/coffee facilities and two comfortable chairs in addition to a very large king double bed. Great breakfast included with wonderful warm staff and a cozy drawing room to enjoy a drink by the fire. Would stay here again and thoroughly recommend.
