I Sang today at a senior Christmas party held at your hotel and was blown away! everything was set out beautifully and the food was lovely! staff very attentive and efficient. We've just had a family boxing day 3 course meal. And I have to say it was absolutely beautiful.
I felt very safe in regards to Covid precautions, and staff were really attentive without making us feel rushed.
Food was beautiful and piping hot. Many Thanks for the hard work you guys have put in this year.

Just got back from a 2 night golf break. The golf course is fabulous, the rooms perfect and food was amazing. Thanks for looking after us and keeping us safe in these strange times. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Swimming presentation evening completely ruined… food appalling. Ran out with loads of guests not even getting to eat including children. If there is a limit… get someone to serve the food, it not difficult. When sufficient numbers complained, they then brought out more food including fish cakes still cold in the middle. Stay away!

Fantastic food and great location. The leisure facilities are amazing. I would highly recommend paying for an upgraded room to add to the luxury of the stay.

Stayed here on an overnight spa break. The massage and facial were amazing — the best I have had for a long time. The room and hotel was very clean. The pool was very quiet and peaceful. Staff always friendly and attentive. Great value.

Played yesterday on a Society package breakfast and golf for £34.50. Breakfast very good no complaints. Golf course was a little disappointing I know we have had wet weather but from tee to green was a boggy field. Losing golf balls with a straight tee shot. Greens were however good and rolling quick considering the wet weather we have had. Shame the course was in a bad state otherwise a decent course with some interesting holes. I would definitely have to consider if I would travel from Stoke-on-Trent to play this course in wet or winter conditions. Pricey game of golf for a very wet course especially if you count the cost of lost balls.

Just arrived home from a fantastic spa day. Facilities were all top notch & thoroughly clean! Staff were friendly & helpful & I was really impressed with the lunch that was included in the package! Would definitely visit again.

Had my wedding at hotel yesterday. It was such an amazing day/night could not fault it at all. All staff were polite and friendly. My niece abby works here and she was amazing helping me get undressed after a few too many lol. But I must congratulate James the events organiser. Omg u were amazing nothing was too much trouble for you. You made my day /evening run so smoothly. Thank you so much you deserve a gold medal.

I went for a massage a while after giving birth to my son and I must say, it was the best gift I’d received from my husband post pregnancy. The spa is very clean and relaxing. Not too keen on the relaxing room though at the end of the hallway. I would suggest if they added some drinking water and a couple of cups to finish off the experience on a high note. I’d be nice to sip on something while spending a few minutes relaxing before heading home.

Spa stay overnight included the best buffet breakfast I've ever had, nice 3 course lunch and £28 towards dinner-only paid for wine! Great stay regarding food and staff helpfulness. However Spa treatments weren't up to standard and twin bed left me in back pain the next morning.

Visited the hotel for a hen party. The room was spacious, although it needs air conditioning. The pool was lovely. The staff from start to finish were brilliant, although they may need extra staff to man the bar in the afternoon. our spa treatments were amazing, the lady who did mine put my mind at ease as it's the first time I've had a spa treatment. We experienced a little issue with some other people staying at the hotel who were being inappropriate. The staff dealt with this professionally and promptly, and the also communicated the issue with other staff throughout the hotel and spa to make sure the problem didn't occur again. Our lunch and evening meals were absolutely lovely and cooked perfectly. If you phone ahead of your stay with any food allergies they will take these into account and try their best to avoid using anything that could cause any issue. Overall our stay at the Telford hotel and golf and spa was lovely and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Stayed 2 nights for family members birthday party. Staff were very friendly helpful and accommodating. We only had to ask to have tea and coffee outside for 19 of us. The food was beautiful on the Sat night we had a pre ordered 3 course meal and it was all served very promptly. The room was very comfortable and they provided are travel cot which was brilliant saved us packing one. Receptionist and cleaning staff were especially friendly. The staff in the pool area were very welcoming and helpful. Overall very enjoyful weekend would come again.

Came here for a golf break and it was very enjoyable. The staff throughout the entire facility were first class, always polite and helpful. The food (both dinner and the breakfast) was really good. The golf course itself was in excellent condition, the drainage after a downpour was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Nice location. With views food and rooms good but service at meal times slow. I like a leisurely meal but 40 mins for starters and another 40 mins for mains to be served.

I’m giving the additional star because I don’t think it’s fair to let my last stay cloud my judgement of this hotel over all. I’ve had really nice experiences in this spa hotel which is why I chose it for a couples spa break recently.
Arrived at the hotel to a much smaller, older room with no bath which disappointed me highly as I’ve always had a lovely room and we booked it around 3 months ago so I don’t know why we got the short straw. It was ready at 12 which was a bonus but I’d have much rather have been given an option to wait longer for a better room. Regardless, we went to the spa and had our lunch boxes. Really not very tasty! We were told tomato and basil soup for starters which we both liked. Sweet potato and coconut came out very bland. Our lunch boxes then came out containing a goats cheese salad, tiny wrap, coleslaw and mushed up fruit cocktail. We left most of it. Though previously this has happened I ignored this and hoped our dinner would be be nicer. We weren’t able to get a table until 20:45 which is fairly late as a spa guest however we accepted this and stayed in our room and had a drink first. We then got seated and ordered our food. The starter came out fine and then an hour passed and our food was not on the table. I only ordered chicken. It finally arrived barely warm and tasteless. I sent it back and when my other one came it was hot but still tasteless. My other half had a burger which wasn’t much better!

A great hotel (set up well) : — nice rooms and there's a Spa/Swimming Pool you're welcome to use.

We felt welcomed by the Receptionist on arrival. Our room was clean, comfortable, a good size and had a view of the gorge in the distance. The pool, steam room and sauna were well kept and relaxing. Bar area was comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable. Only negative for our stay was the hairdryer in the room was useless, an old fashioned one where you need to keep your finger on the button to use it. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Visited for a spa day with a friend. Our day included use of the pool (lovely, especially the heated loungers by the steam room and sauna), a treatment (very relaxing massage) and lunch (a bit odd as it came in a TV dinner style tray and was not really what we expected. The fruit salad was barely a garnish, for instance). Overall though a really nice experience.

The waitress and chef did not know whether the soup actually contained any dairy products.

I'm really cross with this hotel group. You think you are ringing a local number but you get transferred to a 0845 premium rate call they then take 1/2 hour to book a spa day break for 2 … my phone bill was over £13:50. I know you said it would cost but I didn't ring that number you did… Don't worry won't be using you ever ever.

Stayed here on a short business trip. It is an excellent place, with very friendly staff. Checking was a breeze and the room was well equipped and very clean. The food in the restaurant is tasty and service is immaculate. The hotel has quite a big pool with a sauna and a steam room and once again staff are friendly and helpful. We left very early, but we got a packed breakfast and the night guard even opened the bar to make us coffee to go. Highly recommended.

We went to the New Years Eve family party which consisted of 3 course meal and disco to see in 2018. The meal was lovely and we loved the guy drawing caricatures and the magician between courses. All in all a nice evening.

Location was perfect for us as was a short distance from the wedding that we attended. The room was modern, spacious and clean. Everything that you expect was there I. E. Tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, ample clean towels. The bed was comfy and clean. The breakfast in the morning was great, especially the pancakes, even the meat was locally sourced. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more. Did not use the spa facilities but we were tempted.

I went here for a work Christmas do, very nice place. Room looked good, staff were helpful and friendly. Good was very nice and plenty of it, didn't have to buy many drinks as work. Paid for the majority, but the ones I did pay for were very expensive… £10.10 for two drinks (rum and coke). Very nice place and good surroundings.

I'm a gym member. I think it's the poshest one in Telford — hence it being a spa. Great staff and facilities. Only a jacuzzi would improve the experience.

I was taken for a spa day as a belated birthday present. The staff couldn't have been more helpful after a mistake on my friend's part, they did everything possible to accommodate us and everything was perfect. I had a relaxing facial, amazing lunch and a lobely chilled day. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

I like this hotel. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The spa is lovely with complimentary use of pool, steam room & sauna. Beds are comfortable and it's usually fairly quiet. Breakfast is good too. Dinner in the restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food is good idea bit safe and unimaginative and the portions are generous. Drinks are 'hotel prices' so a bit steep but I usually take a bottle of wine to drink in my room.

Facilities are very modern, clean and tidy and those working there are keen to make sure that everything is okay. Drinks seem a little on the expensive side, with two drinks often costing well in excess of £7.50, this includes soft drinks. Views are excellent from the venue.

Good bar with limited beer/larger but good atmosphere & service. Great quality breakfast & dinner. Conference facilities, only drawback was alarms going off in the corridor made for an unsettled night's sleep.

Visited the hotel for a spa break with a friend and found the quality and comfort of the room very good. The bed was large and comfy and I slept very well. My only complaint was that the safe was virtually on the ground so you had to bend down to lock and open it. There was a large range of breakfast items and what I had was very good. Our evening meals however were disappointing especially the soups. The spa area was attractive and clean but in the wet area I would have appreciated a hosed tap to wash down the seating areas of the steam room. The sauna however was spacious and first class. We didn't use the golf course or club but the grounds are lovely for a long walk or to chill out.

As soon as we got into the room we noted how lovely it was but there was a really strong smell of something. No sooner than I had reported it, we were moved straight into another room by the front of house staff, and they gave us a complimentary drink each at dinner to say sorry. The dinner was nice and good quality, the hotel was clean and well presented. Views were really beautiful over the Telford countryside. The spa was fabulous, treatment perfect and the staff were absolutely lovely, even down to the housekeeping team. We paid £110 for Sunday night into bank holiday Monday and that included a king size room, dinner and breakfast as well as use of the spa and pool. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Only criticism is that they ran out of the rib eye steak by 7pm!

We went for a spa day recently there were three of us and we all had a wonderful time the pool was absolutely gorgeous, my only critism would be that the sauna and steam room were both a little too hot, but otherwise we had a really brilliant experience the staff at the spa were very friendly and extremely helpful. Lunch at the restaurant was tasty and again the staff were very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Hats off to all the staff actually they really were so wonderful with us I wouldn't hesitate to go back…

Love coming for spa days here. The staff are always so friendly. Lovely restaurant for a quick lunch a cream tea or something more. Also had some lovely Christmas parties here.

It was a pleasureably experience at Telford Hotel & Golf Resort. This was the first time I had visited. I was in a party to celebrate my neice's impending wedding. Loved the low lights that gave the swimming pool a relaxing feel. Situated around the pool were a variety of seating which was great when not in the pool. The staff were very hospitable and professional. I received a fantastic treatment and loved the finished appearance. Lunch was included in the price of the spa day which was £65. Would definetly recommend.

Went for a spa day via Groupon. The staff provided good customer service. The gym doesn't have any weight plates so there is really no point in having a smith machine at all. Not a gym to do any proper resistance training in at all. The massage was good. I asked Kerry to get the knots out of the muscles on my back and she did a great job. Painful, but good massage! The swimming pool was filled with children and there was no jacuzzi. Also the sauna was off, so could only use the stream room.

This is my second experience of this hotel. The first was two years ago. From front of house check in to the end if two day stay was memorable. The staff were more than acommodating in every aspect of our stay. Very knowledgeable of local beauty spots to visit. Food of an excellent quality befitting this hotel. Spa excellent as well as their staff I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Rooms nice, no plug socket near the bed which was a shame. One of the windows was missing the bar to hold it open, other wise good. Breakfast was great, nice selection. Pool sauna and steam room was nice but would have loved a Jacuzzi.

The service from the training session that I delivered was fanstastic. Nothing was too much trouble for everyone especially Dan our events planner who sorted everything part of the day out for us. Food was great at lunch as well and service was just overall excellent. It is such amazing as a trainer to not have to stress about the small things.

A large hotel/ resort. Plenty of well appointed rooms, a lovely view over the hills from the bar, and friendly staff. As the name suggests, has a golf course, as well as a pool, spa and gym. An enjoyable stay.

I've stayed here over several weekends, when attending a company conference for the last five years, would recommend it. Great restaurant although I'd like to see better quality saussages at breakfast. Really nice pool. Unfortunately I've never got to play the golf course.

We had a lovely stay at hotel everyone very helpful, Margaret was outstanding as our waitress at breakfast, as I had a bad back she offered to get me a cushion which I declined as we were not there long nothing to much trouble. Breakfast was lovely thank you. We stayed at hotel as present from our daughter to visit blists hill it was in the name pearl pearce, if ever I am to visit again I shall use the hotel.

I have decided to cancel my membership. The pool is always on the chilly side. Vigorous swimming to keep warm isn't for me. My wife still has her membership but she and the ladies in water aerobics have also complained.

Booking a reception evening with the events coordinator. Everything was really easy they had a list of everything they needed to know so all we had to do is go over then fine details. One more meeting closes to the date to ensure all is OK but there are no perceived issues yet.

I attended the hotel for an evening meal and a work Conference. My room was spacious, quiet and with good facilities. There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, but this was, at a times, unreliable and the signal dropped for long periods of time. The venue itself is lovely, in a beautiful location. The staff were friendly. We were sometimes frustrated by the lack of refreshments for Conference attendees. More than one attendee complained at the lack of drinking water. Overall, I'd recommend this venue for work functions.

My friend and I attended the spa for a spa day with two therapies, we really enjoyed our time there, the therapists were very professional and helpful. There were only a couple of small improvements, these were that the women's changing rooms could do with being bigger and a jacuzzi would top it off. We also didn't realise that children would be using the facilities whilst attending. Otherwise though everything was great. Would go again.

Excellent New Years Eve 2 day package, excellent 5 course meal on new years eve and entertainment. Very friendly staff, excellent spa, reasonable bar meals throughout the day, very clean only 20minutes walk to Iron Brige.

Stayed for business. Good value and clean. Food is OK. Gym facilities a little dated but functional.
