Went for afternoon tea Lovely venue surrounded by beautiful countryside. Very relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of space between tables. The food was very fresh and even warm scones. More than enough for the three of us and tea was unlimited, great for us. The staff were just lovely, service was quick, with the waitress explaining what each course was.
Only one tiny slip up, we asked for butter to go with our scones and it came with a hair in it, they immediately changed it but just for that it would have been 10 out 10.
Little bit on pricey side, but worth it a real lovely treat. Will return.

We stayed at Fishmore Hall this weekend with our dog Beau. The staff are totally amazing, they are the friendliest I’ve ever had the pleasure of on any away trip. The hotel is lovely, our room was huge with a massive bed and gorgeous floor to ceiling window.
My boyfriend proposed to me this weekend and it was such a lovely surprise in the nicest surroundings.

Lovely service in a great setting. The food in the main restaurant is delicious and well presented. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. And the spa, although small, is great; you can sit in the hot tub and look out over stunning scenery.

Excellent staff service, every person we spoke to was polite and helpful! The tablecloths were pristine and set beautifully. Afternoon tea was superb with a lovely savoury starter followed by an unusual array of sandwiches and finished with a beautiful choice of sweet delicacies. Excellent!

I recommend fishmore hall for the amazing food. The faultless staff. The room we stayed in was clean had every thing u needed. The spa staff were so lovely. This was my second visit will defo go again.

I really enjoyed my time as Fishmore spa. I liked that it is only a small place and it doesn't get very busy. A very peaceful setting over looking the fields and surrounding countryside makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere! I had a fantastic full body massage with Abbie, and a exceptional lunch in the restaurant. All the staff were very professional and helpful, so overall a fantastic experience!

Had a wonderful day at Fishmore Hall as a surprise birthday treat from my husband. The spa facilities are beautiful and well kept. We liked how secluded the spa was and how we virtually had the entire space to ourselves. The outdoor hot tub, steam and sauna are amazing, high-tech functions for us to play with and keep us entertained. The full body massage has to be easily one of the best we have had to date and we appreciated being able to go into the couples room which was as a first for us. The lunch as well was delicious, could not fault the service or the food. We will definitely look to book here again :) thank you for a lovely birthday!

It was my first time at a spa. I had a lovely day, I was very impressed with my treatment. All the facilities were spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

An excellent spa day! I really enjoyed using the hot tub, sauna and steam room — very relaxing. The massage was also excellent — I was drifting off! My skin feels lovely and soft. Thanks again Katie, I feel nicely chilled! I must have more body massages.

The Spa is compact but nicely equipped with everything you need for a relaxing visit. It’s the staff that make a good Spa a great experience and based on my visit the staff at Fishmore Hall went one step further and made a great experience an amazing experience. have visited nimnerout Spa’s in the UK and abroad and Fishmore Hall is definitely in my top 2.

Really excellent time at Fishmore Hall again. We’ve been twice and find it really cosy and intimate and with the great view we think it’s a great spa for couples to go to!

Just spent a night here with girlfriends for birthday celebrations. The rooms are bright and airy, lovely big bathrooms. The restaurant food was exquisite, would certainly recommend. The only down side was that we were a little surprised that we were charged because we asked for more bread for the dinner table and when we ordered after dinner coffee in the lounge, some delightful chocolates accompanied them and again, we were a little surprised by the price of them, considering we hadn’t requested them! A bit naughty perhaps, but overall a most enjoyable stay, and it certainly wouldn’t put us off revisiting.

Lovely surroundings and beautiful facilities. Superb massage. Highly recommended. Just three suggestions to make it even better: A. ) Provide up to date magazines — not last year's! B. ) Provide a clock in the lounging area. C. ) Staff should offer refreshments without having to be asked.

Loved our stay … beautiful food and great wine list fabulous staff and rooms very clean and comfortable. Sadly when we were there there was a very pungent smell when you were outside. We wondered if it was the nearby fields. It didn't put us off though it really was great.

Rural hotel set among the beautiful countryside. The decor is very classy. Service staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Stayed overnight last Saturday, excellent staff, very helpful. Rooms were also of a high standard. Breakfasts were very good.

What a wonderful stay. Partner booked this for my birthday. Room was lovely, clean and cosy with Elemis toiletries — lady who checked us in was so warm and welcoming. Had our spa treatments — full body massage which was brilliant, felt so relaxed! All the ladies at the spa were brilliant, could not have been more helpful. Had an evening meal at the restaurant — slight worry because I'm Vegan. Shouldn't have worried — food was exquisite and made a difference to the usual 'bland vegetable Curry' that I'm normally offered! Restaurant was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with great service. Went back up to the room to see if been surprised with a birthday card and a little gift box of Elemis toiletries! All in all, couldn't fault the team here and I'll be recommending them to anyone who will listen!

Just wonderful. Idyllic setting in rural Shropshire, lovely rooms with lots of nice touches, and the beds are huge! Fabulous food and first class waiters/waitresses. A very special place to stay.

Visited for taster menu and spa. Food us very good. Spa was enjoyable but is small nd ok for 1 — 2 hour visit.

Just leaving today, after a couple of relaxing days, try the local walks, even if you end up in a muddy field! Worth it for the views… Thankfully we had lovely treatments booked in at the spa. Quiet time of year so we had the spa, sauna to ourselves, hot tub had lovely views of the hills even with snowflakes in the air. Btw, breakfast was relaxing with a great selection either full English, smoked salmon, fruit, yoghurt, croissants. Delicious…

Service impeccable, Clean and tidy with amazing facilities.

Treat for my partner. Very friendly receptionist as we arrived. Ordered pot of tea for two little lite bites Enjoyed the Delightful views as we sat and relaxed in the Lounge. Booked a Massage for two Massage were Great pre Dinner Roast Beef and Goodies which were very Yummie Desserts tickled the taste buds. Lovely EX Room were comfortable stay Breakfast were everything and more Staff were very profressional but friendly not overpowering mannor. Evening Meal were out this world Al carte Taste were Lush Heavenly Desserts Coffee pick and Mix Delights only complaint more as so morrish. Lady of house Monday evening which I believe is the Chefs partner So kind Made us feel very" SPECIAL" one day we may come back. Clive Christine Lemmon.

Had a great experience at a work Christmas party recently. The service from the staff at Fishmore Hall was exemplary. Every one of them were accommodating, professional and exceptional — as in, synchronisation of putting down and taking away of plates per each table. The food was very good, and I was comfortable afterwards, but definitely not full! Didn't get to see any of the exterior as it was night time when I arrived, but I did spy some Christmas decorations dotted around. Would definitely like to come again sometime.

Went there for use of the spa and afternoon tea. Spa facilities were excellent and the staff were super friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. We both had treatments which both of high quality and left us feeling re-energised. After using steam and sauna rooms we headed into the restaurant for the afternoon tea which was delicious and the again the service was very good. My only small little gripe was it was a bit on the expensive side for what you actually get but overall a really nice experience.

We received an incredibly warm welcome on arrival, with all our questions answered, before we were shown to our lovely, relaxing room. It was well equipped with a full tea tray, homemade biscuits on request at no extra charge (definitely request them! ), a roomy, luxurious bathroom, telly, internet, robes and slippers. Our room overlooked the garden and surrounding hills; very pretty. The bed was large and comfortable. We also had dinner in the bistro, two courses each and a bottle of wine as part of an offer. All the staff we encountered knew exactly what our offer entailed, and were warm and friendly. The food was incredibly tasty, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Breakfast was up to the same incredible standard, served in the sunny conservatory. Staff here can't do enough for you, can't recommend it enough.

Chose the Hotel on a free night away scheme as I am a History buff The welcome was exceptional & to be given such a luxurious room with views across the open Landscape to the hills was beyond what we expected I would have no hesitation in booking a return visit! Ludlow Ghost tour looks very appealing at the Moment!

Food was lovely, could have slightly bigger portion sizes, but the taste was amazing.

This is a nice hotel that offers a good afternoon tea. The Spa Shell though is really special — small but inviting, with a great decked area, a hot tub plus a sauna and steam room.

Went for Sunday lunch. All of us were very impressed with the quality of the meals and attentiveness of the staff. Food was creative but had plenty of substance. Great experience and well worth paying a bit above the norm.

The food was absolutely fantastic. We had the three course sunday lunch, it was so delicious it was worth every penny. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was beautiful. Could not say a bad word about the whole dining experience!

We had an executive room. Very well appointed, super king-size bed and bath. Nice little touches in the room, fresh milk for tea and coffee in the mini bar, coffee making machine. When we went to dinner, housekeeping turned our bed down and tidied our room, leaving the next day's weather forecast on the bed. Fishmore Hall must have the best chef in Shropshire! Wonderful food, imaginative and tasty. The experience was completed by attentive and professional staff throughout.

Lovely place, very nice decor. The bad points… our double room was a little bit on the small side, well appointed though. Good job that it was small, we would have been further away from the small TV. Every cloud and all that. The breakfast, although very nice was quite expensive at £16 each. The best bit was the shower. Forget wet room, this was a wet house! It must have been 8' square, massive. Location wise, it's was a ten minute drive out from Ludlow. Good if you want to be out of town, not if you want to walk in.

The best thing about this place is the food. Delicious. The location is also great, surrounded by some stunning views. The place is clean and homely, but looks a little worn in places and could benefit from bit of a touch up. That being said, it's a lovely place that would benefit hugely from a lick of paint in places. If I was in the area I would definitely stay again.

Had an excellent stay for my son's wedding.

Afternoon tea was well presented and utterly delicious. The staff were helpful and polite and the light and airy ambiance was welcome. A definite 5 stars and would love to visit again.

Accommodation nice but dinner pricey at £39pp Also wanted a drink after dinner but there was noone around to serve at the bar. This was only 9.30pm.
