Good rooms but breakfast bar not to my liking. Near to centre. Go out for breakfast.

Super friendly host. Great breakfast. Easy walk to just about everything. Parking not really available but there is some not far away for a fee.

Clean, had a fresh air. Quite place to stay in Oxford. Walking distance to downtown for about 0.9 miles. The pedestrian was really nice.

Had a lovely stay here, room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was the noise of the busy road. There was a broken drain outside which meant that every time something drove over it I woke up! If you stay here ask for a room at the back of guest house.

Really small and sweet Hotel. I was there dir One Night:) really delicious Breakfast.

Excellent location — within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very friendly owner who obviously takes great pride in her business. Very clean rooms with comfortable bed (possibly one of the tidiest and cleanest guest houses I have stayed in). The only potential negative is the availability of parking spaces (one at rear and one on frontage) — although I parked on the frontage if more than a few people needed spaces there would be no room. Despite this I would not hesitate to recommend The Osney Arms to anyone visiting Oxford.

Got exactly what I expected. Shared bath, nice barebones room, but totally functional and great value. The owner was gracious and breakfast spread reasonable.

Good location near to city centre and train station. Rooms well kept and a nice breakfast. However usual silly little kettle and limited tea bags/coffee in room. Not enough space at breakfast if all descend at once. There is free parking but v. Limited.

B&B, free parking, 20 minutes walk to Oxford University. Newly renovated. If you don't mind shared bath it is a good choice. Room is small but there's a fan so you won't feet stuffy.

Awesome guest house. I stayed here while attending a conference any the university and it was perfect for what I needed. Loved the bathroom in each room and the complementary breakfast was wonderful. The best part was the friendly staff. Sean the manager was super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this guest house. Remember it's not a hotel so they don't have a 24 hour front desk.

Oxford is quaint but not car-friendly; very limited parking. The onset Arms is located in West Oxford only 20 minutes walk to the city centre. It is easy to get to by car and easy to get to places around Oxford e. G. Stonehenge, Cotswolds, Highclere Castle, Bowood House, Huffington Horse. So Osney Arms is a good base for touring.

My overnight stay at the Osney is to be recommended. Hospitality and breakfast was very good.

Lovely friendly manager. Comfortable rooms, although ours (no. 10) was very small and had low ceilings, not good for tall people. If you get a room with a shared bathroom, please be aware that there is no shower, just a bath.

Just watching TV programme Homeless at Christmas… the proprietor Shaun was homeless once and gave free board to Cathy and her partner and dog Missy over xmas 2014… amazing generosity.

Not very impressed. We had to share a bathroom (which was not made clear in advance), had a tiny room with no wardrobe, AND were asked to pay up front. We paid for a double room but got twins pushed together. The bathroom was lovely, even though we were sharing it with two other rooms. It was advertised as a hotel but it's really a b&b. The staff were quite odd. Breakfast uninspiring. We had to knock and ring the bell for over 15 minutes, then eventually ring the main number to be let in. I wouldn't bother.
