Very friendly owners and amazing views.

Perfect location for anyone walking Hadrian's Wall. Clean and comfortable room with an amazing view over the Tyne Valley. Leah looked after us really well — excellent ploughman's in the evening washed down with wine and local beers, and a great breakfast to set us up for a day's walking. Hope to get back there soon.

A very friendly welcome. Our room was immaculate with great views. Good quality breakfast and our hosts went over and beyond as I left with a homemade birthday cake!

An extremely clean, modern and comfortable night's stay at Carraw B&B. The breakfast was exceptional, load's of options and probably shouldn't be booked before hand on an empty stomach! Top quality! Although the weather turned overnight, the views up the Tyne valley at sunset were truly amazing.

We picked this place to stay because of the description of keeping us safe currently, the fact it was in a beautiful setting was a bonus! The farmhouse was stunning, the bedroom was fantastic, the views from it were incredible. We were welcomed by Leah who instantly put us at ease and gave us a tour.
It was a perfect base for walking and exploring.
Breakfast was beautiful! The house was immaculate. We will be back with our children once things are back to normal.

CARRAW B and B was absolutely perfect. The setting is magical, the amenities were great and the breakfast was delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough. I found it by chance, wanting to be close to Hadrians Wall and it turned out to be a gift.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here while in the UK for our honeymoon. It was the best place we stayed while here. The host, Leah was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much bother. Our room was just perfect and the view over the fields was magical.

Lovely old farmhouse near Hadrians wall. Nice clean rooms and Leah is a great host — even carried our cases up the stairs (tried to stop her — honest! ) Haven’t had breakfast yet but the menu is hotel quality by the looks of it! I’ll certainly recommend this place.

Booking Carraw B&B was a big decision as we stayed here before and after our wedding — we definitely picked the best! From the arrival we were very well looked after — everyone was so friendly and created such a relaxed atmosphere — fitting in perfectly with the beautiful views too! The rooms were simply outstanding — having booked all of the rooms in The Lodge we made full use of the area to get ready and they provided beautiful photos for our wedding too. Even with everyth…ing going on on the big day Kevin and Leah were super helpful — everything was taken care of and they ensured that it all ran smoothly. We cannot thank you enough for taking care of us all and helping create fabulous memories. Anyone looking to book Carraw — you are in for a treat! We will certainly be back! Rooms are very nice and clean. I slept like a rose. The view is great and the B&B is near Housesteads Roman Fort (Hadrian's wall). Above all, the owners are very helpfull and friendly.

The setting is beautiful, one of the nicest parts of Northumberland. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the breakfasts are delicious. On top of this the owners are very friendly and approachable. The place is well set up to accommodate walkers and cyclists on the Hadrian's Wall route. Highly recommended.

Loved staying here, looking forward to our next visit.

Our 3rd stay, alway a pleasure, lovely hosts and immaculate accommodation.

Just spent my 60th Birthday at this brilliant B+B with my wife for three nights. The welcome is really friendly with an invitation for tea and cake late afternoon; rooms are modern, well furnished and spotlessly clean, the views are tremendous and the breakfast is also tremendous. Of course, as with any B+B you could find fault, as I notice when reading some of the other reviews. But to those people I would say this, "if you don't like the odd fly then don't kill the spiders". We found none of these creatures and if you don't like the spiders don't leave your city dwellings and stay in the country. Especially at a farmhouse.
This B+B is in an excellent location, remote enough to be isolated, yet only a couple of country miles from some excellent pubs serving first class food. Would definitely stay there again, despite the spiders, which I don't believe are so big as described. :-)
Look out for the home made biscuits. We stole some and brought them home!

Great position breakfast and hosts.

It's difficult to choose one stand out aspect of our visit to Carraw B & B, everything was great. The location is quite simply spectacular. We received a warm welcome after a windy afternoon on the wall and enjoyed our comfortable and well appointed room. The decent coffee and delicious homemade shortbread which were supplied in room were wonderful and breakfast was more than enough to set us up for a day of exploring. The homemade muesli is in a league of its own! We could not have asked for better service and only wish we didn't live so far away so that we could return on a regular basis.

Wife and I stayed here on our wedding anniversary. This is an excellent b&b, with superb contemporary décor, comfortable bed, though the room can be very warm, bit too well insulated. Free Wi-Fi, complimentary bathrobes, fresh tea, coffee and milk and homemade cookies. The lodge has a lounge with log burner and beautiful views over moorland and the Roman military road. The breakfast is great, bacon done to perfection, homemade jams and marmalade on offer, but sadly no marmite which is a terrible oversight on the part of the owners. If they fixed that I'd return. You can order a big packed lunch with freshly made rolls and homemade sausage rolls. Also has an electric car charging point.

Just returned from a very relaxing stay at Carraw. The rooms are luxuriously decorated, cosy and impeccably clean. They thought of everything, providing a wide selection of speciality teas and coffees with delicious homemade biscuits in the room, as well as a TV complete with DVD player. The breakfast is ridiculously good, cannot describe just how tasty it is. Perfect poached eggs too :)

We've had a lovely time here at Carraw. The additions such as the homemade biscuits were great. Very clean and comfortable rooms along with a good variedand breakfast. I would mention only for feedback that I wasn't overly keen on the 'microwave' croissants and the bacon and tomatoes were a little over cooked for my taste. If the croissants were made fresh and the bacon sourced locally then it would be 'perfect' all round. It has not dissuaded me from recommending a stay here as the surrounding views are lovely. A very peaceful stay.

Great B&B with everything you could possibly need. The views are amazing and the location on the Military Road is good too. Has secure bicycle storage, would recommend if you're touring.
