Lovely clean room! Plenty of supplies of tea and coffee! Thanks.

Helpful staff, great location comfortable walking distance to the castle and town shopping areas. 5min to food, bus comes past regularly. And a 5£ full English with vegetarian option to boot. Couldn't fault it if I tried.

Great guest house in a convenient location for Norwich City Centre — 15 mins walk. Super breakfast. Recommended.

Nice place though rooms facing the main road may be rather noisy (we stayed in Room 1, upstairs). An electric fan would had been a bonus, as the summer-heat has been intense (July 2018). Like almost in most converted accommodation, the bathroom was very small, but manageable (if you aren't abig person. ). A tasty and not expensive english breakfast. Free parking in front of property was a bonus but it is a tight fit (problematic for larger cars).

Very disappointing start with the badly presented room, larg patch on ceiling that needed finishing, marks all over walls, cobweds hanging from ceiling, plaster patches removed from wall in bathroom, black mould in shower & in the corner behind tiolet, stains on curtains. Breakfast was good but was asked if we would like black pudding, but then was absent from breakfast! And then forgot the toast! For the rest of are stay we was accommodated in a slightly better room, but this still had black mould in shower & taped up tiles, tiolet seat was loose, &the hot tap wouldn't turn off! We think some time & money needs to be spent on this guesthouse to make it of value for the pricing of the rooms.

Nice little place to stay at. Very clean, very polite staff & wonderful service. Breakfast is well worth the extra money. Would recommend to anyone.

Not the worst but lacked somewhat. Broken bed, bathroom reeked of smoke (previous visitor but Fabreeze helps!? ), grumpy receptionist. Wouldn't return.

Nice B&B close to Norwich city centre. Rooms are ok but bathroom very small. Small breakfast room but food good. Ok for a couple of nights while visiting Norwich which is a lovely city.

This is a good value, well located place to stay. Near to bus routes, free parking and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic one night stay come to Norwich because of family staff so helpful lovely room and great breakfast lots of choice easy to walk into town great parking at Guest house look forward to coming back good value 100% stay.

I stayed here for one night whilst visiting family it was in a superb location for my visit, my twin room was a good size with on suite, the room was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits.
The staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast was very tasty, I would highly recommend Wensum lodge and I will definitely use it again.

We stayed here for two nights and the rooms are fairly large in fact we were accommodated very well as we were both totally blind with a guide dog and were given a ground-floor flat. We won't really impressed with the breakfast as the toast was cold and the breakfast wasn't really adequate. The staff did seem to be a little moody. I think the strangest request asked if we wouldn't mind having our breakfast in our bedroom which was really stupid. I particularly wouldn't stay here again as for 85 pounds a night does seem excessive for a hotel like this one.

Really good, very friendly, couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Decor was modern, our room was very spacious, comfortable bed, reasonable breakfast, down to simple things like soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. Close enough to walk into Norwich centre. The only thing I would say is that the ceilings/walls seemed to be a bit thin, so we could hear people in other rooms. Overall, highly recommended.

Guest house is clean and tidy, staff friendly, but the breakfast is bad: 5 cheap ingredients in small portions (one slice of bacon, one frankly rather nasty sausage, one egg, half a tomato, economy baked beans) slapped on a plate. Nor is it cooked well, the tomato for example was heated through not fried. Sauces, condiments, jams and tea are all plastic sachets of cheap rubbish. There was no mustard at all. At their prices I expect better.
