Had Sunday lunch at the plough today with family and thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu is varied but not too big, the food is lovely (the roast beef was excellent) and it's very good value. Coupled with fabulous staff and a warm, relaxed atmosphere… there's absolutely nothing not to like.

Went here for a Sunday lunch today and oh my was it good! There was so much choice on the menu and we have followed this place on Facebook for a long time and kept seeing all the amazing food pictures they keep posting so decided it was time to come and give it a go. The hubby and I both had the mixed roast and I have to say I’m glad I went for the smaller plate portion…there was still soo much on there and it was delicious! Exactly what We fancied and wanted. My son had the battered sausage and chips and again devoured it! The desserts…wow! The food in all was a great hit but the fact it was a warm friendly and cosy atmosphere with lovely staff topped it off completely for us! Will definitely be returning. 🙌🏻😍

A group of 12 had a meal here, every meal was hot and very tasty. My gf df daughter had the scampi and chips with sticky toffee pudding and vegan ice cream. Would definitely recommend — great service, fantastic food 🙂

Was here for dinner last night. 2 men, a child, a vegetarian and me the fussy one. The menu is great and has loads of options to choose from to cater to all. My friend especially amazed at the children's menu as they offer child starters which is a first. Nothing was to much trouble, it was very busy last night with lots of groups, we waited an hour for the starter but this came with a big apology and also we were happy catching up so didn't bother us. It was delicious, mains and puddings came in good time and drinks were always being kept on top of by the brilliant staff. Being fussy I amended aspects of my dinner and also asked for something extra on my ice-cream, nothing was to much trouble! We will be returning including the child who said that was yummy let's come again. Thank you!

Superb service from start to finish. Extremely accomadating with our requests. The food was excellent, and they even provided a separate area with a good choice of gluten free food which was also excellent.

An absolutely delicious takeaway from The Plough Inn, Marsham. Sushi was 10/10, great (unexpected) side salad and plentiful dips. Aaron had Crispy beef chimichangas — he said they were great. Yum yum! All gone! 🐷 thank you!

We had fatty patty and buttermilk chicken burgers, and BBQ chicken dirty fries tonight. It was hands down the best takeaway we’ve ever had! Everything was absolutely delicious, we will most definitely be back again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a takeaway service and it was very well organised and all great food and kept hot! By far one of the best take aways around this area with lots of choice and well presented. Would highly recommend!

We had a really nice stay. Lovely room, quiet despite being on a main road. Good food, lovely staff.

Lovely food, took us ages to choose from the menu as we wanted it all, very clean, nice friendly staff definitely going again.

Just arrived and greeted by lovely staff they couldn't do enough for us. We have just had lunch which was fab and we have booked our evening meal here as well. The room is very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Delicious. Good value for money. Excellent service. Great choice on menu. Highly recommended!

My lord the dirty fry takeout boxes are the bomb! I had the burger box and my partner had the vegan. Both were excellent, dare I say, maybe best takeout I've ever had.

Had the dirty fries and fish and chips delivered during lockdown, food was amazing and portions huge! Great friendly service, will definitely have again.

Each time I go to The Plough Inn for food, it gets better and better, visited for the Valentines sharing menu tonight and couldn't fault the service, food or atmosphere. Amazing place, definitely recommended. X.

We had the best Sunday Carvery here today. Delicious & sooo generous! Catered for 8 of us (2 with special dietry requirements) with two toddlers & they looked after us brilliantly. A big Thank You to all staff… Merry Christmas!

Went for lunch at the plough today. It was one of the best meals out I've had in a long time. The pork belly starters were amazing and I highly recommend there white chocolate and blueberry cheesecake.

Very accommodating as we had quite a large group with a number of young children. The food was great and along with the menu there was a good choice of specials.

Nice hotel with lovely rooms, top restaurant food at reasonable prices. You wont get out the door without a personal thank you and goodbye, something of a rarity these days unfortunately. All round good value for money.

Second time we have stayed. The owner and the staff are all very helpful happy and give an excellent service, we stayed 4 nights this time couldn't fault it Smashing breakfast would stay again no problems, thank you all for a loverly stay.

Great place with even better staff & food. As a suggestion, the omelette for breakfast was delightful. Visited on business but will definitely return. To add to my 5star rating, there was even insect covers over the windows so I was able to leave the window open throughout the evening without being eaten alive. Nice cosy place well worth a visit instead of the day to day commercial hotels available today.

A pleasant stop between Norwich and the coast. Nice staff and reasonable prices. Clean, with easy parking.

Stopped in for drinks so can't comment on the food. Good selection of beers served by friendly staff. No sign of any Wi-Fi.

Wonderful welcome for a weary business traveler excellent service and choice of food both at Dinner and breakfast! Very comfortable room slept well would thoroughly recommend.

Nice clean and good sized rooms. Breakfast was cooked just right. And tasty! Pillows were a bit on the hard side and shower heads needed a good de-clogging. But I recommend it to anyone.

Having read one or two of the reviews on here, I am left to wonder whether those contributors actually visited the premises. I have to say that I couldn't fault it in any way during my recent stay. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and spacious, indeed it was probably the most comfortable room I have ever stayed in when away from home. I dined with three colleagues in the evening and the meals were found to be of excellent quality with generous portion sizes. The full English breakfast, which is included in the room rate, was luscious. All in all, a very enjoyable visit indeed.

Though the pub caters more to dining and accommodation, the bar staff are always so friendly when we come by for a drink. The pub is well-kept and peaceful, ideal for a drink and a chat.

Called in for evening meal following recommendation from a friend. Welcome from friendly staff good, service very good and food ok. However, this place is very expensive for what you get — very ordinary food (pub food) at quality restaurant prices. We would choose somewhere else over this establishment when next in the area.

Spacious and clean accommodation. Breakfast to set you up for the day, and excellent evening meals. Spent three nights there and would definitely go back. So nice not to have to toss up who drives home at end of evening!

Great stay. Lovely room and friendly staff. Was told breakfast started at 7:30 which I mentioned I would be gone by that time for work. Woke up to a breakfast tray outside my door. Great start to my day. Would stay again.

I went with a party of elderly/disabled people. The service was very good. The food delicious and all freshly made. I am not a dessert fan, but I had the most delicious homemade cheesecake, the bestI have tasted for a long time. Next time I shall be taking my family when they come to stay.

Great food and friendly staff in a relaxed pub/restaurant atmosphere. Very nice accommodation is also available. Conveniently situated halfway between Norwich and Cromer. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay. Staff are really friendly and made me very welcome. The accommodation was nice and homely feel. There isn't a lot in terms of local shops in the vicinity so you would have drive either a few miles to get to shops, so bear that in mind.

Stopped at The Plough inn for lunch and it was good, staff very friendly. Had some local ale with my lunch and that was also very good.

Lovely freehouse pub serving good food and good choice of beers. The pub has very friendly staff. I had a delicious pork belly main course which was cooked perfectly with great crackling. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. I stayed in a twin room which was a good size with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was a traditional full English with good quality bacon and sausages. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area on business.

We went to The Plough for dinner with our two small children. The staff were very helpful with the kids and went out of their way to make their meal enjoyable. The food was excellent throughout, in particular the pork belly was fantastic, beautifully cooked and the bill was surprisingly affordable. We wouldn't hesitate to return next time we're in Norfolk.

Had lovely meal here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, interesting food, well cooked and a nice atmosphere and surroundings.
