The Kings Head Hotel

Just had afternoon tea. Everything looked great. Well presented and good value. Highly recommend.

First time I’ve eaten here for a long time but will certainly not be leaving it that long again … couldn’t fault the service and the food was amazing (although I was already full after my starter! )
Definitely worth a visit.

Great bar one of a few pubs left that you can actually drink in. Fab landlady runs a tight ship.

My husband and I stayed at The Kings Head and absolutely loved it! The rooms were very clean comfortable and spacious! we had a wonderful view of St James Church. We had a great experience from start to finish!

Had a very lovely meal here with my friends and we all agreed that it was definitely worth the visit. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful and the room upstairs was very nice. Well done.

Had a lovely Christmas meal here last night. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was beautiful as per, why go anywhere else.

Just had Sunday lunch and I would highly recommend, will definitely come back.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch here. The staff were attentive and very helpful to visitors to the area. The menu is reasonably priced and the added bonus for us was that The Kings Head is dog friendly.

Lovely pub stayed in the family room very nicely decorated and stylish and extremely clean very friendly staff also would highly recommend.

Stayed here last night for my partners birthday the staff were very friendly the food was fantastic and the room was spotlessly clean with a very large comfy bed will be returning.

Fantastic meals, excellent staff, a gem in the town must visit place.

Do not stay here on a Saturday night if you want to sleep before midnight… great live music but not if you are not warned beforehand and have to work the next day.

Love the food here. Breakfast is good and when they have it the sausage pie is brilliant.

Lovely new and clean rooms, very helpful staff. Great bar with good selection of Italian beers. Good bfast selection too. Close to Caldwell which was great.

What a wonderful evening, from parking up till departing next morning. Bar staff were ace, very atentative, well kept cask ales. Sharon the landlady was exeptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Bedrooms were spotless, a full English in the morning. Great value throughout, look forward to staying again very soon to watch a live band. Nice one Sharon.

We booked to have a meeting room at this venue and advised that we needed a quiet room due to the nature of the meeting. We was allocated an area whereby a band started to play outside during the meeting. The issue was taken up by my PA but the hotel have not yet responded with a satisfactory response.

Attended a Birthday Lunch in the Upstairs Function Room — was Brilliant — Food was Tip Top and would recommend to anybody thinking of booking or wanting a meal/ stay at this Hotel/ Bar.

Definitely the best place for food in town Staff are lovely and very welcoming definitely recommend the kings head for food, parties and just a general social drink.

Me and my lovely wife have just had lunch here and I have to say it was lovely very well presented, nice and hot the place to go for lunch in louth. Very good choice of menu and the staff are excellent. Fantastic service well done and thankyou xx.
