Beautiful little jewel in Carnforth. Parking is a bit of a pain but that’s not an issue once you realise how brilliant this place is. Rooms are obviously recently renovated to a high standard. Bar and staff were really pleasant and helpful. Food was spot on and live entertainment on Saturday with a great crowd, real fire and chipper atmosphere was just excellent. Will certainly be returning.

Tapas bar is a lovely function room and great food would recommend!

We had a lovely meal at the weekend, even though it was busy the service was still nice and quick. All the staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
Tables are nicely spaced out, and they have a good covid system in place.
A lovely dog friendy place, thank you for a nice evening.

Really enjoyed our evening our last night. When you can’t go on holiday this is a happy alternative as the junction bar has been redecorated to a fantastic standard. The specials menu really was delicious. Excellent choice and the dessert was so yummy and a giant portion! Topped off by fantastic friendly and very safe service. We will come back and feel happy enough to bring our baby daughter next time… although it was nice to have our first night out in 9 months! Thank you!

Really impressed with the effort in social distancing but still creating a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere. Food was excellent, thoroughly recomend the tripple cooked chips.

Very friendly staff, great live music and have done some lovely modernisation in the rooms and to roof terrace etc… defo recommend as it's on the door of the lakes with the train station within walking distance and a fraction of the lakes prices for accommodation.

Excellent accommodation, excellent food, friendly efficient staff and terrific hosts, the owners Glen and Maggy are doing a fantastic job. And it's dog friendly. All the rooms have been modified to a terrific standard. Great base for a few days break.

Just been for a meal here and couldn't fault it lovely room … excellent food and reasonably priced and all the staff were friendly and very attentive. Very impressed Well worth a visit.

First place I've been to without having to wait decades for my food to arrive. Very friendly, extremely clean and comfortable. Excellent family meal.

Paid for a luxury room, this was still very basic. The decor was very tired. The food was pleasant enough. Some of the staff were very unhelpful. Really not worth the money.

Good food and lovely rooms. Under renovation at present, although this does not detract from the pleasant feel to the place.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who went out of her way to make our requests met. We were only looking for a snack type lunch and although that wasn't usually done on a Sunday she spoke to the kitchen staff and they agreed to do the normal bar menu for us! The food was lovely the service was exceptional and me, my wife and daughter would happily recommend and return to this establishment.

Friendly and very helpful people. Twin room was clean with a newly refurbished bathroom. Room was small but for me and my grandson it was perfect.

The Station Hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment. 8 of us enjoyed a lovely meal in a lovely Dining room. All of us said we would visit again for a meal. Keep up the good work. Many thanks.

Absolutely loved this place! Lovely rooms, judging by the one I stayed in anyway. Great food, helpful and friendly staff. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Stop in royal station hotel on the 19 Aug 2017 and I can just say from arrive we was meet by friendly staff. Ask what time we would like breakfast. After check in went up to room 19 where we was stop over night and all I can what a lovely room was very express and plently of tea and coffee and biscuits and hot chocolate and bottle of water. I was very express with the shower after we had fun get it work was lovely warm. Water nice temp. After a lovely night sleep after been to wedding do up the road we went down for breakfast about 9.15 and was welcome again by lovely staff members nothing was to much for them ask us a few time If we was alright and would we like anymore tea or coffee the breakfast was lovely which was full English and you could have danish/ fruit or cereals and orange juice before the full English I would 100% come back to this hotel again such lovely staff you should all be very proud of yourself look forward maybe to see you again. The future and thank you again from me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay.

A group of 20 cycling ladies turned up at this hotel at lunchtime on a Sunday. We were greeted by a real Lancashire welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We were directed to a large room and allowed to take our bikes inside. The food was good and the service excellent considering we simply dropped ourselves on them. Even an entertainer! What more could you ask. I can recommend this hotel especially good to know they are cycle friendly and a large group unannounced did not worry them. A great time was had by all.
Thank you to owners and staff who all did their best to get us refreshed and on our way as quickly as possible. Your are stars.
