Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Rooms really clean and spacious, and evening dinner and breakfast was lovely value for money.

Although not in an exciting location, the hotel was very impressive. Decent room, good quality breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay here on our bus trip great 3 course meal for tea and breakfast beautiful and clean and very comfortable beds.

The hotel was perfect, it was immaculate, the bed was comfortable there was enough of everything… towels, pillows etc, the food was delicious and the chef was funny and so friendly as were all the staff, would highly recommend.

Always use this hotel when we come up north, great value, great night sleep and great breakfast, very helpful staff too.

What a gem Burnley is. Staff very friendly and helpful can't do enough fo make your visit enjoyable. Breakfast a really good selection. The rooms are comfy and well presented. A very clean and modern hotel.

No extra bed on request, although stated on website 1 was available. Room not ready on arrival. Sofa bed very uncomfortable to sleep on. Didn't manage a decent sleep on it. Breakfast was good and location very accessible.

I didn't stay in a hotel room but rather booked a meeting room for a meeting. The staff were helpful and showed me to the room quickly. The booking was fast and the price was good. It was available a short notice which was helpful. The room was well equipped with a coffee machine. Only downside was that the lunch menu was a little limited. But the quality was decent.

Close to the motorway so try to get a room around the front otherwise fairly noisy. Large free car park. Good buffet breakfast included in the room rate. Dogs welcome and there is a lovely walk along the old canal towpath to Burnley close to the hotel. Wheelchair accessible entrance and lift.

Great time, stayed here good Friday with wife, our 8year old son and a 15month baby. Nice rooms, great staff who couldn't have been more helpful (especially delroy), decent bar, good location for town and generally all round great budget hotel. Will definitely be revisiting and recommending to all, many thanks.

Staff are very attentive here. Rooms are clean. Unusually good food for an express too! Used as a stop over between east and west on business.

The Holiday Inn Express is a very convenient place to stay when visiting Burnley or the surrounding area as it is very easy to get to from the M65 and has free on-site parking. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable with everything you need for an overnight stay including free Wi-Fi and are typical of the size you expect from a budget hotel chain. Downstairs in the public area is a lounge with soft seating and a bar offering a selection of draught and bottled beers, spirits, and soft drinks. Adjacent to this is the restaurant where the complimentary breakfast is served, and which also has a choice of evening meals available at sensible prices if you don’t fancy travelling into town. I have stayed here several times and always find the staff to be friendly and very helpful, which all in all makes this a great place for a cheap and cheerful stay.

Great budget hotel. Holiday Inn Express is the more basic end of the IHG chain but the standards of this worldwide chain are upheld in this Burnley hotel. The hotel is clean and well presented. Staff are great. We visit this area at least once a year and always use this hotel.

I stay here on a regular basis when visiting friends and family. Rooms are always clean and tidy, bed are comfy, staff are always friendly and happy to help. Prices are good, free Wi-Fi, free parking and all you can eat breakfast included in your stay.

Terrible customer service, I could pick up an atmosphere with the staff during breakfast. The worse holiday inn express I’ve been to. The best one is in Liverpool. Staff need a refresher course on hospitality, maybe meet with the Liverpool staff to seek advice. Much needed advice.

Use able, but definitely a holiday inn express.

Room was decent size and clean. Staff polite and helpful. One downside was the bar area — quite small. There was a large family with kids and there was nowhere for us two to sit and be able to talk.

Nice Hotel staff always eager to help. Never had a problem with any aspect of stay there.

Not the cleanest, although there are cleaning ladies who also just wipe around, the breakfast is typical English (not particularly) absolutely no variety over and over again the same Babb. Food lovely but expensive, staff are very nice and help you as much as possible.

There's a good team at this HI. Very friendly, but then you are in Lancashire. Dogs are welcome in some rooms, and there is the Leeds — Liverpool Canal for walking just outside the car park. If you are heading further North, forget the motorway, go via Clitheroe towards Kendal. Lovely drive.

We booked holiday inn as we where going to a ladies night in the town. On arrival the staff where very friendly with a fast Check In. The room was very clean and tidy. With TV — towels-hair dryer-kettle with tea n coffee. We went to bar for a drink b4 we got ready the bar staff was friendly and chatty. When we came down to go out we was asked if we required a taxi and the lady on the desk ordered it for us. The guy on reception when we got back asked if we had had a good time and was chatty. Breakfast was spot on with a good selection of food and a good selection of beans to cup coffee. Excellent value and excellent customer service. Lady on the desk on check asked if we had a good night out and was very friendly… would defo stay here again. Thank you.

Lovely comfortable rooms and beds. Always very clean and fresh smelling, disabled access and fabulous free breakfast, eat as much as you like. Reasonably priced too.

Clean modern room, clean modern reception, dining area and lounge. Superb staff. Just as you'd expect from HI.

Good value place not easy to find. Plentiful buffet breakfast.

Typical Holiday Inn Express fare. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Plus being next to the M65 I thought it would be noisy but was well insulated against noise. The A/C was a bit gutless and didn't really cool the room down. We ate there in the evening having the steak and ale pie. The pie filling had a very herby taste that over powered the rest of the flavour. Chips were a bit soggy and the veg looked over done. But the breakfast was spot on. A help yourself buffet and great coffee machine making good bean to cup coffee. In short for the money it was fine, but I think it needs a better menu in the restaurant with specials.

Wasn't the best I've got to say. Arrived at 6 and were told had to be down prombt for meal at 7. The meal wasn't even set up. No information as to witch room we were to sit in. Soup was cold. On a lighter note the room was lovely and clean if a bit over warm.

Not s good experience. TV didn't work was reported but not fixed. Breakfast was a horrific experience. Eating your breakfast off what can only be described as side plate or a child's dinner plate like you had at primary school was crap just trying to cut your food was annoying as you beans slid off one side and your scrambled egg off the other. We were lucky though cause we had a knife and fork some eat using a spoon for a knife or just a fork picking up the sausage and bacon with there hand paying for this kind of stay is not good. I would give this place a wide berth. Lots of people complaining when we were there. Food was nice if you could get to it.

The room was cozy and quiet and the internet was working perfectly. Also the parking was big and free. The restaurant was good and the beer was good.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Near Heineken. Music Hall Amsterdam, was quite, clean etc best place Ever stayed.
