Absolutely loved our stay here they couldn’t do enough rooms lovely clean very polite friendly staff upgraded our room for free. Breakfast amazing. Would definitely recommend it and definitely stay here again.

Lovely family run hotel Andy and his son are very attentive atmosphere is very relaxing and very family oriented would definitely recommend especially if you have a family.

Had a recent family weekend at the Hurtsmere and cannot fault our stay. Clean, comfortable, equipped rooms and in a pretty perfect central spot for everything. There were 16 of us, from young to old and nothing was too much trouble to see to our needs! Breakfast was delicious and served quickly, by our lovely and very polite waiter Kian! (Andy & Kathy he is a credit to you both). Lovely little bar downstairs, which is just what you need to relax after a day in Blackpool. We will certainly be returning! Well done to everyone behind the scenes too, great team! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a lovely night stay in a family room. The hosts were amazing and catered for my little girl Pearls dietary requirements at breakfast time. The room was spacious clean and a family fun bar. The breakfast was also lovely. We really enjoyed it and we will See you at Christmas for our next visit Laura, Chris and Pearl ❤️

A great place to stay spent 3 nights there food was fab and the hosts were excellent very welcoming and friendly it’s that good we have booked another two weekends with them see you soon keep up the hard work guys 👍👍 would highly recommend x.

A fabulous two days in Blackpool and two nights in the Hurstmere. We honestly couldn't have chosen any better. Friendly hosts, clean, comfy and spacious interconnecting family room, lovely breakfasts, free parking and brilliant location — a minute's walk to the beach. Our children loved the pool table and my sister and I enjoyed the relaxation in the bar area. We will be back next summer. Thanks so much to Andy and his family for helping to make our little break away so enjoyable!

Brilliant location away from all the rowdiness. Very homely and comfortable. Andy and his family are absolutely lovely and catered to our needs. Bar area is lovely and so convenient! The whole place has a lovely feel to it and they are always finding ways to make it better! Would definitely recommend and will 100% be staying again! Thank you for a wonderful baby moon!

Excellent stay at the Hurstmere, clean and comfortable rooms. The service from Barry & staff was above and beyond our young girls absolutely loved the stay, we all did. Very central location, close to the beach with little walking distance to all attractions, highly recommended.

Fab hotel… family suite to suit bigger families with 2 bathrooms which are harder to find! hosts are ace… friendly and full of info. Brekkie fab too… would definitely return.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay here. Lovely clean hotel. The owners where fab with my kids. And a great cooked breakfast aswell. Couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be coming back.

In deciding to go to Blackpool (or anywhere) for a couple of nights with kids… the hard part is trying to find a comfortable place that caters to families. I lucked out completely with The Hurstmere as it has everything needed to make for a comfortable stay… and impeccable customer service. Upon arriving, we were greeted at the door, helped with luggage and then taken to the car park (as I have a small car was in a garage). The room itself was clean, had a TV, and bunk beds for the kids… standard for a 3* property. There's a good size dining room where breakfast is served and although they don't offer evening meals, they are more than happy to provide plates and cutlery should you want a take away. In the cellar there is a family bar where you can relax after a busy day and actually feel comfortable having your kids. There are toys and activities for them and Barry (the barman, desk clerk, bell hop, information desk, waiter and local tour advisor) has more than a few tricks up his sleeve for the kids. Over all an amazing stay in a hotel where you feel more like a family guest than just another paying customer!

This is our third time visiting the hurstmere and must say super breakfast and great host had a brill stay once again and will be returning would recommend to all as great place to stay clean and friendly and staff are so helpful thanks for a great stay.

This wee gem of a B&B is just amazing. Barry and Andrea are lovely people who just make you feel welcome from the minute you get there. Also gave us lots of tips on the best places to eat and things to do in Blackpool. Our grandson just loved Barry's magic tricks at night in the bar. Kept us all entertained. Breakfast was fab. Thank you to you both for making this such a special holiday for us all. All in all I would definately recommend the Hurstmere. Great value for money. If we are ever back in Blackpool then this is where we'll stay.

Very friendly welcome. Shown to our room and everything explained easily about location. Location of B&B to the beach and promenade is very close only couple minutes walk. Breakfast was lovely. Greeted with a friendly smile, chat and host carried on with my son making him laugh. Rooms were OK sized for a family of 4 and were clean. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.

Room is a little dated but by far 100 times better than other places we have stayed in blackpool. The rooms are clean and clean linen is provided. The hosts are super friendly and very accomodating. This alone makes the stay worth while. Breakfast is of high standard. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Lovely people who run the place, very friendly. Excellent guides for local amenities. Full English breakfast is a must! Rooms are clean and tidy. Good location for all around.

This is the best Hotel in Blackpool. We went last year with our daughter. She loved it so much so that at night she wanted to be back at the Hotel with Barry and Andrea. Great couple they make you feel so welcome. Plus breakfast is fantastic. We will be back this year guys. Definately recommend this hotel.

Well what can I say our stay was fantastic we where welcomed like family and treated the same way our kids loved it Barry and Andrea where the perfect hosts could not have asked for more the location was great and we would recommend the Hurstmere to everyone hope to return again in the summer.

We enjoyed our stay there Barry and Andrea were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was lovely you had a nice selection to choose from, we were close to the promenade and the weather was kind to us. The only thing that spoilt it was our room was quite small we mentioned this to Barry and he told us that they were all the same because it was an old house.

You never know what a b&b will be like until you get there. It's usually luck of the draw in Blackpool! Well we were very lucky to have found this little gem! Nothing was to much trouble from the moment we arrived. Very family friendly, Barry is great with the children and knows exactly what to do & where to go! I was visiting for business but also a great location for the beach and pleasure park. Such a warm and friendly welcome from fantastic hosts. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Completely recommended.

Just back from our second stay at this immaculate B&B. Loved every minute of it. Barry and Andrea are superb hosts and Barrys knowledge of what is on in Blackpool is superb. Andrea's breakfasts are to die for. Both are great company in the basement bar in the evenings with plenty to amuse the kids. They are already making plans to come back. Just got back from Three nights at the Hurstmere Hotel and myself and 9 year old son Oliver loved it. Fab place fab owners and family. Next time I visit Blackpool I will think of this hotel first. Thanks Barry and Andrea from Michael and Oliver.

I came with my dad and step mum after their lovely stories of the hotel and hosts, and with it being their 5th time at The Hurstmere I was more than happy to come along. All I can say is it was better than anticipated. Absolutely wonderful hosts whom kept us entertained all hours during breakfast and at the bar, and they would break their back to make you happy to ensure you had a great stay! The breakfast was absolutely lovely with a selection of cerials, toast, juices etc and FREE baby food for the wee nippers (which my 8 month old was very greatful for). Also a less than a minuite walk to the sea front close to the south and central pier. Overall a fantastic stay for all ages. It is most deffinately a home from home. Will be coming here again :D.

Have stayed with Barry and Andrea several times at the Hurstmere. Great fun, spotlessly clean and good breakfasts. Excellent value for money.
