The room we had was room 2 it was warm comfortable it had its flaws no hot water and bathroom could do with updating. The staff were freindly and breakfast was good if your looking for simple accommodation then this is the place.

Needs knocking down and Rebulding, its disgusting,, and the rooms are too small and the Ensuite bathroom was tiny and not very clean, and and the shower base was cracked and the floor stained with mould where shower leaked, the bed had bed bugs and I have been bitten all over, the rooms smelled damp and musty and the bed felt damp, the only heating was a convector heater if you were cold if they were told, you got one towel, per person, we had to go and buy our own the, paint and paper were peeling the towels they provided were not that clean and smelled awful, and the sign on the Ensuite bathroom. Door said any towels left in the shower base would be removed, but if they were anywhere else they would be reused, disgusting I, thinlk same applys to the bedding as they have bedbugs, there is no lifts just lots of stairs, so it is in no-way suitable for people with disabilities or walking problems, ie, arthritis or elderly people as they would not manage all the stairs the whole place is disgusting and I would never go back or reccomend it to anyone, not unless they want to be ill, to stay there you would have to be mentally challenged, as no-one in their right mind would want to,

We checked in and refused to sleep in the ‘family’ room! (We moved to much nicer hotel COSTAL ROOMZ)
Place needs a good deep clean, marks all over the bed! Wallpaper hanging off walls, an inch of stoor lying (excuse of staff was the window had to be left open)

Had a lovely time when we stayed with our kids. Clean and tidy & very welcoming.

Nice rooms booked on a last minute basis close to the promonade.

Second time we've been for an overnight stay, both times have received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival, staff are helpful and polite.
Rooms have the basics needed, have private bathroom, flat screen TV with choice of channels, coffee making facilities. Breakfast available for extra cost, also vending machine for snacks.
For the prices charged (£33 for 1 night — 1 adult and 2 children) I'm happy, will be returning again.

Awful place the rooms were a mess pillow cases had stains and overall a bad experience.

Very old fashioned. Grubby. Not welcoming. Door always open, anyone could wander in. Perfect location. Needs some money throwing at it. Our room up in the roof was tiny. The walls are so thin you can hear other guests snoring. I like cheap and cheerful but surely a good clean room isnt too much to ask for. The loo was dirty, the windows were mingling. I won't be returning.

Great hotel for the price you really can't knock it.

Know its a budget hotel but that takes the biscuit. Our stay there last night was terrible shower head was black with mould toilet seat and toilet had excrement on there mould round shower unit hot and cold water was plumbed in wrong way round outside back on roof guttering was overgrown with weeds electric cables on outside of building unprotected I would not stay there again even if it was free and would advise anyone else not to even go there it is terrible I.

Just stayed here over the weekend, on the site it says it has a bar, even tho there was a review about 3 month ago saying the bar was getting renovated. STILL no bar! We were expecting a bar that's one of the reasons we booked up. We were in a family room (2 adults + 3 children) youngest 4 yr old and we were put right at the top in the last room not good when you have children because there's stairs and stairs and even more stairs. There were no towels in the room so I had to drive to Tescos at half 10 just to buy some! Breakfast was good tho and the guy who runs it is helpfull.

I've stayed here 5 times in last 3 years and I've enjoyed it every time. For the actual price per night I find the overall service and accommodation to be excellent! Especially THAT coffee machine! Hardeep and all the other people who work there have never failed to give me superb customer service. I'm currently planning my next visit!

Brilliant hotel and I will be visiting again with my family.

We stayed Saturday night, to have a few drinks around Blackpool. It was good value and clean. Didn't do a full breakfast just European, but because it was cheap enough we had a walk to weatherspoons.

Nice rooms and good entertainment.

Cheap. No daily cleaning, dirty kettle, window doesn't close properly, no room service, cold rooms. And bed bugs…

Ive stayed in so many places in Blackpool but since finding this place wouldnt stay anywhere else lovely friendly staff make u feel so welcome lucena is definatley the place to be for comfort friendly very welcoming atmosphere.

Mustafa went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. Location is good and the place has a lovely bar and dining area. Pool table, fuseball and darts. Would recommend.

The hotel was OK but could do with being updated, it has a good location and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good.

For the cost it was better than I expected. Would definitely stay there again!

Good place clean and friendly has bar and pool table 1 min walk to prom and buses and trams.

Friendly and helpful welcome, good sized room, all necessary and expected items in room — bedding, 2 pillows per bed, towels, toiletries, tea/coffee for at least 8 drinks, TV with freeview channels with decent picture and remote. Given information about hotel including amenities, breakfast arrangements, late return to property. Good location, 30 sec walk from promenade, easy to find. Between south and central piers but in quieter area, on street parking if very lucky or nearby parking. Went overnight — myself and two children, given family room on top floor (sleeps up to 6), may be difficult if have mobility issues as stairs quite steep and several flights to 4th floor. Would definitely recommend and will return — book on hotel own website as better rates than on comparison sites.

When I stay away from Home' My main things it be Clean' Comfortable' Warm' and Nice food''' I do not give Praise often ' But on this occasion ''All off thee above was just that' Exellent service'' Sea front 5mins walk' Value for thee price'' 100% Plesure to have stayed'' Thank You.

Only saw the hotelier once on arrival who showed us our room and where the breakfast, Game & bar room was. Throughout our short break we never saw another person and on the day we were leaving we had to leave our keys in a box again, no one to say hope you enjoyed your stay goodbye hope to see you again, it was out of season although you would expect to see some living person, giving 2 stars for a least quiet night sleep.

Our room was very small & poorly decorated. There was a hole in the floor under the carpet near the bottom of the bed which was unsettling, bathroom floor was cracked & the shower looked too unpleasant to use. Bathroom smelled of drains so had to keep the door shut at all times. Had booked in for 2 nights but left after 1.

We stay here all the time and will be doing again for a week tomorrow staff are friendly breakfast lovely manger is lovely made me a drink that they didn't have would recommend.

Cracking hotel for the money rooms good sized own toilet n shower,, staff lovey an friendly breakfast good and the owner was a lovely guy.

Absolutely disgusting. Should be closed down for health and safety reasons. I had to shave all my hair off as I got NITS from the pillows. There were FLEAS in the bed and ACTUAL DOG POO on the skirting board and curtains (see pics) which stank awful. Was given the wrong Wi-Fi code. Wallpaper was peeling off, the headboard wasn't attached to anything, the bin wasn't emptied or the tea, coffee or TOILET PAPER replenished, in fact no housekeeping at all. 14 working channels on tv. A member of staff was systematically unlocking then slamming all the doors closed one by one in the corridor outside my room until 12-30 at night, for absolutely no reason what so ever. He seemed to be taking orders from the woman staying in the room next to me for some reason. She also smelt like the skirting board and curtains! The person in the next room was coughing at the top of their voice until 1-30 in the mornings which I could hear through the paper thin walls. One of the brothers that owns the hotel was making stupid noises at me every time I walked past him?! In all seriousness, I strongly suspect he may have been a crackhead. If you intend on entering this place I recommend you wear a hazmat suit. It was like they were torturing their guests as opposed to being hospitable. Was supposed to be staying 7 nights, but had to get out of there after just 4 nights because the entire experience left me feeling sick. Pay just a few pounds more and stay somewhere that wont make you seriously ill.

Friendly service, good size rooms, no major problems and very good value. Only 30 second walk to the sea front and right in the middle of south and north pier, great location.

Stayed here with my grandaughter room was filthy had to bleach the shower before we could use it sue to mould, breakfast room filthy, cereal dispensers yuk table clothes stained, room service nil no won't be staying here again.

I say hear for 1 night with my boyfriend we were meant to say for a week but moved hotel as this hotel had crack in the bathroom floor the bathroom was to small and the room was so cold my boyfriend had to slep with his coat on the rooms need up dating I would not recommend this hotel to anyone won't be comeing back.

Stayed for the night with my partner and daughter had family room with on suite nice and clean very friendley staff excellent full english breakfast all round value for money defo stay again.

We stayed 3 night, This hotel is aged, the rooms small and cramped, bathrooms tiny and poorly set out. 1 foot step up into the shower quibicle. Full english breakfast was poor. The manager/Owner seemed helpful but after booking in we never saw him again. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
