Love this place. After walking the dogs or doing the horses perfect place to come for great food. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and Tracey behind the bar. Perfect

A large group (20, including 11 kids) of us went here for a meal and we were well looked after. Made to feel very welcome, colouring and games for the kids and food was great. Thanks for looking after us.

Good English food in a friendly bar. It's your typical English pub with characters and atmosphere. The accommodation is reasonable and clean for the price. We were comfortable.

I came here after being extremely let down by the ship because of the staffs rudeness.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD!
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate for us. My friend is vegan and unfortunately they didn’t have any dish specifically vegan on their menu however the chef kindly said she could adapt and make a dish for her. The food was delicious and very fresh! My friends who had come down from Canterbury said it’s the best food they’d had in ages. The staff themselves were incredibly friendly and made our night very enjoyable.
I will definitely be coming back here!
Thank-you again to the staff for going above and beyond for us.

Had our monthly Old Farts lunch here today (4th June). Lovely old pub, well worn, well used. Very welcoming with delicious home cooked food at a reasonable price. A nice selection of Ales as well. What more would you want! Excellent.

Went to Darnley Arms for mother's day and of course very busy.
Staff really lovely and attentive even though food was slow in coming to the table. They could of had more staff on such a busy day. The food was homecooked and lovely.
After meal each mother was presented with a potted plant.
Would definately go back

Decent selection of ale but the food was dismal. Burgers looked good but the chef had managed to remove most of the flavour, steak sandwich while actually having some taste looked like it had been sat on.

A very friendly pub. All three in the village of Cobham have their own different charm but this one is perhaps underrated. It is less prominent between the other two but has really good beer and good food too. And somewhat unexpectedly, there is even a car park. Don't expect a trendy place, just a typical good no-nonsense British pub.

Having visited last night, I feel compelled to comment to contradict other negative reviews. I experienced an exceptionally warm welcome, the landlady and her family always go out of their way to make our visit a pleasurable one. We didn’t eat but popped by for a drink. My daughter was entertained by the staff and she loves visiting to play the classic pub games with them. The facilities that I used were exceptionally clean and indeed smelt of cleaning product.
This is a classic traditional pub, owned by a loving family, that always offer their pub as inviting you into their home. Guys keep doing what you do!

This place has five stars on all occasions by the looks of it. The neighbours however don't like the popularity of the pub hence the only one star reviews. Please don't be put off by this lo
vely pub. Been here for one night gone tomorrow. But we always have that one person!

Came here for a quiz night yesterday with some friends and had a brilliant evening (last Thursday every month, I was told). The landlady and staff were brilliant, gave us roast tatties and garlic bread at half time, and the beer was great! I thoroughly recommend this as a great traditional pub and will return for more of their sincere hospitality. Thanks T****!

It's a village local — not a gastropub. It's a lovely pub, with a friendly welcome, but gastropub it ain't.
