Fabulous friendly welcome from Bella on Reception. So helpful and attentive. Plenty of room too in our family room. Will come back in the future.

No reason to dislike it. The two Lisas on reception were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are standard premier inn rooms so no surprises there. So to get 5 stars from me the service had to be great and it was.

It’s a very old Premier Inn. The first room the bathroom light was broken 2nd room the toilet didn’t flush properly and the old fashion tap system you with had hot water or cold wTer in the sink.

Excellent stopover for the Chunnel!

Hotel was clean, tidy and in good state of repair. Staff were very friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Really made us feel at home and even interacted with our kids. Top hotel.

From a room standpoint I would say it was basic but adequate. Compared to other premier Inns I've stayed in I would say it was a little tired in comparison but the service by the staff was exceptional. I was there preparing for a wedding and the staff took an interest in this and asked questions about our stay. They offered additional facilities such as fridge/freezer storage if needed and decorative swan towels for the bride. They were also very accommodating in giving people access to our room such as the bridemaids, make up artist etc. It was also a lovely gesture to receive a wedding card from the staff for the bride. The cleaning staff were also very friendly in the corridors and helpful when I requested a later room clean. Overall 5 star service in a 3 star hotel. Thank you!

Can't fault the room, staff or hotel, stay at Premier Inn when I can, only criticism is the price. Tuesday, 3-30pm, asked for a room only for the night. Quoted £104, even though there are 16 rooms available according to Google. Next door, Hotel charging £74, £84 with breakfast. Again, not complaining about staff, the 3 I've met have all been kind, honest and polite, just cannot understand why Premier Inn charge so much when the hotel is over half empty. Rant over.

Like a lot of reviews from the welcome to the farewell we were made to feel very welcome by everyone who works here. Not having a breakfast offer didn’t upset us one bit. Nells Cafe down the road or Morrison’s do very good versions of a big fry up and healthy stuff if you so wish. The sort of friendliness and genuine willingness to make our stay an enjoyable one are hard to beat these days. Well done. See you sometime soon.

THANK YOU Mrs Lisia C.! My old mum, my little son and me went to this hotel in March for one night spontaneously after ours of stress and traffic jam on our journey. My phone was broken and I had to call my familiy at home, it was REALLY important! SHE was the only one, who helped me with her PRIVATE phone to reach my husband in Germany. I didn´t understand why the Lady in the Restaurant opposite said NO, I asked her first. I said, I will pay for it. I said, it is really important, I just had to leave a short message. She wasn´t nice, she was unfriendly and ignorant. Everybody there was ignorant. Unbelievable! And hey, we are in 2018, where is the problem, I said, I would pay for it, three times as much if you want to. I truly had a problematic situation. Meanwhile you can´t find a phone booth on every corner. BUT Mrs Lisia C. Saw my distress and helped. So THANK YOU again. I will never forget this :-) Ahh, and she gave us a nice room, everything was fine in the PREMIER INN. The woman in the morning was really friendly, too. Greetings from SIMONE.

Pleasant the staff were friendly and welcoming house keeping were quite as I work nights.

Excellent stay. Comfy beds and wonderful service from the front desk. Booked us a taxi for the morning and made sure it was baby safe. Would stay here again!

We stayed here on the 30th of December 2017. Have never stayed here before. We was presently surprised but the place that was first rate. Rooms were very warm. The shower was very here which was a big plus. Although there was no restaurant next door for a breakfast. But there was a very lovely old pub The George. Staff at this Premier Inn are top rate and very polite too…

Spacious rooms, excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful reception.

Plenty of parking. Receptionist very helpful. Clean, tidy room with kids beds made up ready. Only issue was noise separation from room above, could hear the occupants walking around at 12pm.

From the moment we arrived every single member of staff we came Into contact with was lovely my only issue is the pillows are way to soft not a good night's sleep for me at all and I had 3 of them xxx.

Freindly welcome at reception. Just got food next door at the pub as stop serving at 9pm. Rooms dated and bathroom cleaning can be improved (shower tile grout and scale in toilet bowl)

Clean, tidy, quite, with friendly staff, what more could you ask from a Premier Inn.

Good service friendly staff as we had booked our 4 rooms for a wedding they were very accommodating.

The staff are helpful and polite, but no bedside plug sockets and more importantly no breakfast. Makes it the worst Premier Inn I've stayed in.

Does exactly what it says on the tin… comfy, clean and staff very pleasant…
Pub opposite… but sadly currently closed for breakfast. Nice playground in the pub for the youngsters… literally a spit away from the entrance.

You get what you pay for. A clean room with a comfortable bed and decent ensuite bathroom. Only gripe is there are no food facilities but there is a very good pub on sight.

Clean room, comfortable bed, would stay again. Really impressed by the provision of extra sheets instead of duvet given how warm the weather has been and the offer of use of a fridge.

It's an older premier Inn but nice and clean and bang next to a decent pub and beer garden. Brucie bonus.

Easy access from the A2, typical Premier Inn, big room on the ground floor and still not enough electric sockets.

We had two very cosy night's here and found all the staff unbelievably friendly and helpful would definitely stay again.

The room is good. But the duvets don't breathe well.
