We found all the dishes we ordered had too much sauce plus the chicken in the jalfrezi was quite dry. The naan bread needed cooking longer as it was doughie. Plus all the sauces were tomato heavy. Quite disappointed as many friends have recommended it. Even the Tarka Dahl was disappointing. It was not in the least busy as we arrived early, perhaps just a bad night? 🤷‍♀️

Last minute booking and I'm so glad prefect staff nothing is to much the food was delicious will definitely be back even kids loved the kids meal.

Booked a pod. Absolutely fabulous service, food and cocktails were excellent. Not your typical British Indian, really different dishes but delicious. Reasonable prices too. Pod was so pretty and a comfortable temperature.

A fantastic evening eating outside in one of the pods. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!

Fantastic meal last night! First time ordering from here. Even better that they do kid size meals as my son loves a curry. Not your traditional “takeaway”. This was even better as such different flavours to what you normally have. Will definitely be back!

An excellent take-away tonight from Namaste to celebrate the abrupt end of an era. No more children at school Normally a meal at Namaste to celebrate but due to the “on-going” situation a superb take-away was consumed at home with various beverages. Highly recommended.

After hearing such great things about this restaurant we thought we’d give it a try for a takeaway. Very disappointed as we had 3 dishes. Didn’t taste of anything and was £28 what an anti climax ☹️

This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Kent. Completely unique dishes and watching the chefs cook your delicious dinner is amazing. The staff are fantastic and so attentive. I cannot praise it enough.

Fairly embarrassed to say we have only just got here. It won’t take as long to come back. Food was incredible. Tandoori paneer is now my favourite thing. Service very good. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant find — brand new street menu is fantastic!

I only live down the road from Namaste and until last night, I had never been. Well, I have been missing out. The best Indian food that I have ever tasted and the best meal out in a long time. I cannot recommend it enough. Reasonably priced too. Why are you still reading this review? Go now, find out for yourself.

Having visited this restaurant many times over the years, I was very disappointed on 7 Jul 18 to see the Service and venue falling short of my expectations. Below are some points that I believe will improve the overall dining experience: 1. On arrival, served drinks while waiting for table, slightly late but fine. 2. When shown to the table that was clean, was disappointed to find the chairs contained the last diners left overs and stains from many weeks use. 3. Getting the order right is quite important, staff need to pay more attention to detail. 4. When placing a plate on the table in front of diners, don’t wipe it with you hand and then when asked for it to be replaced look at the customer with disgust. 5. Service was slow and had to wait for rice to arrive, apologies accepted but you wasn't that busy. 6. After the meal, the table remained full of crockery for some time, the table remained the same until I asked to pay the bill. 7. I don’t mind paying the bill but remember that I am paying for food AND SERVICE. 8. At times you have too little staff to fully service diners in the restaurant, employ more and give them adequate training. 9. Unfortunately many years of custom wipes out by one bad visit. Don’t rely on past reputation. You will lose your customers. 10. On an up side, the food was fine.

The staff at the swingate/Namaste were fantastic. we came as a party of 20 for our son's 18th birthday. Everyone was completely accommodating, making the occasion special and stress free! The food was delicious and we highly recommend if you want to experience authentic Indian flavours! Thank you all for a great evening with super service.

Great food, pricey tho. Staff are attentive. Open kitchen, fresh made food right in front of you. Gets busy, so book before going.

Amazing food and service given! so many different flavours. Tried some different dishes which were amazing. The staff serving and cooking were so kind. As a big group we was looked after no waiting times and all food come out together. Celebrating a friends girls birthday, she was sung happy birthday by the staff and a cake and candle given Thank you so much Namaste we will be coming too you always. Take away also.

On arrival looked good. Inside our room was tidy but bed slate out in the bed it was on floor so hubby fixed it. Shower was cold no hot water. Friends TV in there room didn't work and toilet wouldn't flush. People fixed toilet but not friends TV. People were nice enough and Indian food was fantastic in the restaurant.

Great food! Enjoyed the paneer dosa and chicken saag.

Super extra friendly staff! they even warmed up a take away I haf from lunch and served it as ifa. It was theira food! theor selection of wines is excellent and the rooms clean and comfortable. They even provided me with an electricity transformer to charge my phone!

Stunning food. Excellent service. Expect the unexpected — the food is not like other indian restaurants. Well worth the money.

This is the 5th time we have been to the restaurant for a meal and once again it was fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough about the place, the food is superb and the knowledge of the waiting staff about the dishes is brilliant. I will not hesitate to recommend the place to anyone and everyone that will listen!

Great food with great service all at a reasonable price. Its also nice to get a curry with all the extras that's actually made fresh and not just reheated. The kitchen is also in the dinning hall so you can watch them prepare all of the delicious food.

First time we have been there to eat, very friendly atmosphere, all staff very helpful, good selection on the menu and the food was very good! Will definitely recommend this to family and friends and will be going back very shortly.

Only made a quick stop but found it to be very welcoming. There was plenty of parking with such beautiful country views. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

An unusually nice Indian restaurant, food is different but totally outstanding, lovely service, and keeping up with modern times, there is a button on each table, and if you need service, just press the call button and the service appears immediately, no more waiting to catch a waitress if you need something. Very friendly staff who go the extra bit to make sure its a perfect experience. I would very highly recommend this place.

Authentic Indian, open and friendly kitchen and cooking combined with very nice English pub type hospitality and setting. Many unusual dishes to choose from with a nice selection of beers. Highly recommended!

Stayed at the hotel, lovely big room, but the star attraction here is the incredible curry restaurant. GT a table right next to the kitchen so got to watch them prepare it. The Naan bread is out of this world, cooked fresh in a Tandoor. Main course the best curry I have had in years. Highly recommended.

Very busy vibrant Punjabi restaurant, with the kitchen on display into restaurant, so you can see your meal being cooked. Try Massala dosai, crispy pancake with potato filling. Very tasty food and cheerful attentive staff. If you need anything you can press a button on your table, and one of the waiters watch lights up, and they appear to get your requirements. Will be visiting again soon, as the food is very tasty.

Good atmosphere, good food, but not the average Indian restaurant menu. None the less very nice but would like more choice. For example, I could not order an onion bahjee… I mean, what indian restaurant doesn't have onion bahjees on the menu.
Major niggle is the open kitchen, which although is very nice to see the food being prepare, better fume extraction is needed. When I first entered the restaurant it looked foggy inside and after some time my eyes got sore with the cooking fumes. Also, air conditioning would be nice, it was far too hot in there.
Staff were great and the service was excellent, but one last niggle… Why oh why oh why do all Indian restaurants have the same awful dessert menu. Use your imagination, not pre-frozen processed junk.

The food at Namaste is fantastic. By far the best around. It's pretty expensive to match, but as a treat it's worth it. The decor needs an update but always an enjoyable meal.

Friendly helpful staff but room very dated, shower useless, no toiletries and no teaspoons for the tea and coffee. A bit more attention to detail would be welcome. Glad it was only one night!

We spent a lovely evening here prior to catching our ferry to Germany. Lovely people and very clean and comfortable accommodation. Dinner at Nanaste was a bonus. I normally avoid Indian food as it is too spicy for me but I found lovely tasty things to eat. Thank you.

Excellent and quite unique. Not your average Indian restaurant. Fantastic flavours, good service, and very reasonable prices. The North Indian cuisine is familiar to regular Indian lovers, but different, nicer, and all made in a live kitchen from fresh ingredients. I thoroughly recommend the Dosa. I've never had an Indian meal like it. Amazing.

We eat her often, the staff are really friendly and happy to recommend from the menu and the owner is also very friendly. This is the best Indian I have eaten in.
If you want an English tailored vindaloo don't go here if you want to try well spiced authentic fresh made meal then I fully recommend it.

Decent place, good service and food.

The food is amazing, you can tell it's freshly made with fresh chillies that even on their own are delicious. The Naan bread choice is good, and they are made very fresh. Would recommend the chilli cheese Naan. The staff are very polite and helpful in suggesting an ideal curry.

Nice meal different food from the norm will go back to try more.
