This place is AMAZING! We had a clean room and a nice ocean view. I would recommend this place to everyone!

You know when a hotel uses white linens that they are very confident in their cleanliness and The Spinnaker did not disappoint! Rooms are very spacious and comfortable!

If you want a really great place to stay this is it — clean rooms and grounds — nice pool and deck — housekeeping friendly and helpful and office staff go out of their way to help you and recommend places to eat or go to — rooms are nice and roomy, view great and beds comfortable — not our first time and will not be our last — family friendly.

Simply the Best family owned and operated hotel in town… the staff is pretty awesome too!

Great location for both the beach and the boardwalk with a heated pool and deck for relaxing or gatherings. Clean rooms with fridge, microwave, stove, dishes, etc. So you can save money eating out every night. Convenient parking and a great staff. A great value for families!

Had an ocean view room and was very happy with the price. Very quiet room with no interruptions from other guests and got to do the ocean experience with the board walk mere steps away. Highly recommend.

Just stayed 2 nights at this hotel, wonderful experience, professional and courteous staff, clean rooms and great pool. The breakfast place on site is delicious and shouldn’t be missed. We accidentally left a couple of my wife’s rings in the room after we left, the very honest house keeper notified front desk and we were immediately called. We are extremely appreciative!

We have been coming here for 7 years now. Love it! Only half a block from the beach and boardwalk. Convenient to so many good restaurants. The rooms are spacious, and we love the convenience of the kitchenette to save money by eating breakfast and lunch in our room when we want.

Anita at the front desk as a great help. It’s been a long time since I met a friendly staff that seemed experienced and accommodating. Room service and front desk team provided great customer service. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were clean. Very comfortable stay, great location to the beach. Pool area was clean and peaceful. Hope this place never changes! Will be my first pick for future trips.

I liked this place! It was clean, the room was Great, with a large balcony. Our kitchenette was nice too. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was a bit small but it was clean and was great to cool off after the beach. I enjoyed watching the kids playing. The front desk personnel were kind and quite helpful. The cleaning staff were all very nice and accommodating. I left our room safe unlocked with a large amount of money and my dad's diamond ring in it. We went to the beach and upon my return saw that the safe was unlocked and open. Everything was still there and the room had been cleaned, dishes done, bathroom spotless. I cant say enough about the integrity of the staff at the Spinnaker Hotel. The Hotel is in a great location too.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 out of the last 4 years. Location is fantastic, only a few steps off the boardwalk. We love the kitchen, it has a large fridge, stove, dishes, cookware & silverware, as well as coffee maker, toaster & microwave. Staff is always friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel, it's a perfect fit for 4 people.

Scrumpltons is ok. Smells ok looks ok they have a weird little vegetarian place vegetarian is old Indian for bad hunter so we went some where with real food.

Rooms are ackward with an extremely narrow layout and low quality renovations, poor workmanship. If you are in a lower level room expect lots of noise. The rooms are clean but the Front Desk service is uneven. If you want a little bit of beach view you will have to pay extra. Low value for your money. Not recommended.

The room is clean and the location is perfect! Kid friendly with tons of stuff to do. We will definitely return.

Stayed in room 205 was a beautiful room for being a motel! The ladies were extremely polite at the front desk and let us check in 4 hours early, would go again!

I didn't enjoy my stay there this year. We go to Ocean City every year. This is the 1st time in my 20 years of going to Ocean City I was bitten in bed. I itched all on my arm. In the morning my husband and I found a bedbug on my pillow. They claim they just opened that side of the building. I will never stay there again. I give it 1 star. But it won't change.

This hotel has great views of ocean if you are on the side closest to the ocean. I like how the pool is open for long hours. However, the room layout is difficult for instance, the door opens blocking part of the kitchen. Also, forget about the stairway, the stairway is all concrete, dim, and dirty, use the elevators instead. Also, the safety wasn't the best, the railing on the private balcony was coming off and we saw there was a missing screw.

It is very economical and provides very good service.

We come here every year for a club trip so we've stayed here for over 10 years. Although there have been remodels over the years, it's still dingy, looks and smells like an old beach motel. Each room has a kitchen which is nice. Stove, sink, nice size fridge. We do enjoy the pool deck in the evening, although it overlooks the highway. We go off season so it isn't crowded. Located right off the boardwalk, but there is a condo building between the hotel and the beach. Most rooms have a limited view of the water… if you lean waaayyy out.

Can hear the club from a block away Sun&Mon nights. If I were to book here again, I'd ask for a room furthest from 18th&Baltimore. The bass from the club is like a water drip in the room. I can sleep through it, but my fiance can not. We called the front desk at 1:30a to ask about it. The front desk was nice, and they mentioned others had complained. And that this happens Sun&Mon night sometimes. They politely suggested we call the police to complain. Ocean PD website does say the music shouldn't be heard beyond 50ft. Writing this review while we wait till 2am for the club to close. The room is nice. We even got an ocean view. Exceptionally big balcony. But the rhythmic bass could be a problem. It's not load, but once I heard the bass, I couldn't stop hearing it. Wish we knew in advance.

Very clean and kept after. Staff told us about popular locations to eat and shop. No issues with service. Everything as promised on website. Very close to the boardwalk/ocean; our balcony had an ocean view as promised. Elevator is a little scary though, just be ready for it.

Only good thing was the closeness to the boardwalk/beach. Stayed 5 days and 4 out 5 the "clean" towels had black hair on them and 2 days I had to track down housekeeping to get some clean towels. Elevators are "outside" and 3 ft by 4 ft try getting suitcases in them real fun. Also, last night there had to call front desk 3 times to ask to have the music in room next door to be lowered at midnight was told can't do anything until supervisor comes in. I was ready to call the police myself. Will try the Hyatt being built next time.

Malia's cafe below the spinnaker has an amazing breakfast menu. Food and service is great. Hotel staff is great and friendly. Rooms are good for the price. Pool is nice.

The staff is fantastic. The hotel is very clean and priced right. Great location. Beds aren't terribly comfortable and it's a noisy main street. If you like to be in the middle of the crowd this is a great place.

Spinnaker is on the boardwalk and most of the rooms have a limited sea view. We were in the 5 floor, north building and had a good view of sun rise in May 2017. The rooms are spacious for a family with a toddler. Rooms are updated, but has signs of rust being so close to the beach. Swimming pool was nice. There is a cafe near the front entrance and the food is good. If we visit ocean City again, then we would stay here again.

They called after 5 and a half hours after I booked and confirmed on travelocity and told me I didn't have a room ruined my anniversary thanks alot.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Easy access to boardwalk and beach. Within walking distance to many restaurants. Highly recommend!

The rooms were very nice for the reasonable price. The Kitchenettes were nice. My biggest problem with my stay was the very spotty Wi-Fi service. Very seldom did I have a full signal and it would disconnect and connect again which was frustrating. Also you had to keep signing back into it if you hadn't used it in awhile. The pool was nice and the staff were very friendly.

Affordable, spacious, clean, great view, close to boardwalk. What more could I ask for? we'll be back!

Right off the boardwalk/beach, spacious room, clean, went 3rd week in September when rates are off season, good value.

Got a recently remodeled room. Beds were comfortable. Room service was great! We decided to extend our vacation and the front desk was very nice about rearranging things so we could keep our room longer. It's expensive, but definitely worth it! The beach is less than a block away. Private balcony is peaceful and relaxing after a long day. And the full kitchen was great to have! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed in room 315 over the week of Labor Day 2014. The rooms are spacious and clean, not especially ritzy, but very adequate. The motel itself is about a half block from the beach. Rooms offer a view of the beach between the other motels and condominiums, but do not directly overlook it. There is a CVS and a few strip malls within a couple blocks, from which necessities can be purchased. Definitely avail yourself of OC's $3/day bus passes for getting around the city. There is a bus stop a couple blocks to the west, and from there the buses can take you from the inlet all the way into the 100s. The first night our in-room air conditioner started making a horrible screeching sound. Maintenance arrived within ten minutes of our call in the morning, and promptly replaced the unit with a working one. Room service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The motel provides basic food preparation supplies (plates, cups, mugs, silverware, pots and pans) and towels for four, but little else. Be sure to take food wraps and containers, hygiene products, coffee and creamer, etc. With you, or purchase them when you arrive. Each room contains an electric stove, a toaster, a coffee maker, and generally an ancient microwave. All worked satisfactorily in our room. The showers were warm, but lacked much water pressure. The beds were very soft and comfortable. We had an enjoyable trip, and will definitely consider the Spinnaker if ever we find ourselves in OC again.

This motel was great! No problems, room service came every morning to see if we needed anything (like linen or the garbage out), it had a great location, comfortably slept 6 people (though the pull couch was kinda lumpy — but what can you expect? ). Overall a fantastic experience and I will be returning next year :) PS — it was a good price, as well.

We just got back from our stay at OC, and we decided we would definitely stay at Spinnaker again. We stayed in room and it was great. I accidentally left my computer charger there though, and I have had to order a new one since after you leave, you can't get them to call you back or send you your stuff. Other than small glitch, it was an amazing time away from home and we will be going back. Rooms were perfect for our family of 5, LOVED the kitchen area, a great view of the ocean, and right on the boardwalk. Thank you staff for your help with everything.

We stayed the last week in May. Not to much traffic. Hotel rooms very nice, clean, and the price isn't bad either considering you have a kithchen. Makes vacation nice when you don't have to eat out all the time and you can cook in your room. Easy access to the beach too. Will definately be staying here again.

We visited Ocean City Md on Aug 3 — 5, 2010 and stayed at the Spinnaker Hotel room # 219 (a smoking room). Being that my job is a housekeeper I find myself very picky when it comes to hotel rooms! This hotel is in very good condition on the inside. The rooms are very clean. Our comforters looked new. The beds are so comfortable! You have a full kitchen and bathroom, you can see the ocean from the balcony! and we were on the pool level which the pool was small but clean and had a huge sundeck! They have elevators but we used the steps. The walk from the boardwalk to the hotel is short! The receptionist was very nice and ask if we would like to see our room before checking in. The housekeeper Brenda was a very nice lady. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Spinnaker for making our vacation a good one.
