Very hot rooms with no air conditioning complete joke of an hotel, why the hotel no air con or fans and uncomfortable pillows and hard bed come for work sleepless nights not good Premier Inn disgrace.

Not really small rooms, but ver hot, with no fans or air conditioning.

I didn’t want to do this on a post that is about a big crisis but I have been left with no choice! Last Saturday I traveled to this premier inn to be told there were no rooms and at two different locations. They then charged me 3 times for two different rooms neither which they were able to provide me with a room. At the premier in Watford upon check in I was told the room I had booked was not available as there was an infestation of bed bugs, they looked at another room for me but they couldn’t provide me with that either as the window had been smashed Since then I have been fobbed off and told by the manager Dan and members of staff sammy, Tom and Julie that I would be getting a call back about a refund. Not once has a call back been given and I am having to continually call to check the status of when I’m going to receive my money. Avoid this hotel at all costs! I made a 230 mile round round to stay here and they wasn’t able to provide a booking. Once again I didn’t want to put this on such an important post but feel as though this is the only way I can get my thoughts across after such poor service after an incident that is not my fault!

Good location, free parking. Would have liked to be told the bar and restaurant were not going to be open.

Great stay again, shame the restaurant was shut except for breakfast.

To be honest we’ve traveled 100 miles so my wife can visit Harry Potter studios. At first impression was nice the man at front desk was very chatty and welcoming. We had food in restaurant witch didn’t come with everything that was on the menu but we let that slide (we just want a peaceful night away being a parents of a family of six) snow is falling outside so we turn the heating up. It doesn’t work (great). I go down to front desk and say the heating not working. The man at front desk comes up checks it out and offered a portable heater that doesn’t give out much heat. And doesn’t have a long enough cable to reach any of the plugs. Being a long distance coach driver I stay in a lot of premier inn hotels this has got to be one of the worst I’ve stayed in.

Hotel rooms are ok, but the resturant is RUBBISH, along with their customer care and handling of complaints.

Restaurant and bar closed no one told us before booking but yet sent me 25% off food voucher day before our visit! Staff don’t care about anything and just moan to each other about they hate there jobs! Noisy rooms and when you try to contact staff no ones interested just told to complain online once we’ve gone home!

Then no staff on at breakfast and the hot food counter had one sausage no bacon, no eggs, no staff to ask to top up.
The Costa coffee machine was the only thing giving decent service. Not happy.

Lovely rooms, and wonderful comfy beds. The bathroom is a proper bathroom, with a bath and shower.
The receptionist, very helpful and friendly.

Stayed at premier inn as was going to Harry Potter Studio Tour the next day. Very easy to get to and great friendly staff on both the hotel and restaurant. Room was very clean and tidy and the bed was so comfy. Would 100% recommend this hotel if going to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. Would stay here again when visiting Watford/London.

The room was amazing. Had a great nights sleep and all. But the downfall was the restaurant. The food there was shambolic. Pancakes were dry. Croissants were burnt. The coffee maker didn’t produce the right drink. Absolute shamble of a place. Would come here again but, definitely advise a better restaurant for breakfast.

Great place to stay… rooms good, just short of air con in summer! 30 degree's C in room makes it hard to sleep, otherwise spot on. Staff very good and helpful, always polite. Would stay here again.

Stayed here when visiting Harry Potter. Only 15 mins away. Easy access to Croxley underground to get the tube into centre London. The hotel has no air conditioning, and we stayed there when it was around 27°C. They provided two fans but the temperature was really uncomfortable.

Good size hotel, parking on site no extra paperwork or charges applied. Decent restaurant and non meat option and plenty of fish options available for dinner and breakfast. Shame the food on buffet wasn't labelled.

Fantastic staff right from arrival. Friendly helpful reception staff, immaculate room quiet not close to any traffic then a lovely restaurant downstairs serving absolutely fantastic quality restaurant standard food in a relaxed family pub environment. This is the perfect hotel for families and business visitors and the food and bar service is first rate. Highly recommended.

Everything you come to know and love about premier inns. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Clean and modern rooms and the best beds ever. Quiet hotel with helpful staff. Brewers fayre attached to the hotel for cheap but alright food.

Not stayed here but commenting on food. Not sure about coffee when we have dropped in but food is as expected. Decor is nice and there is small seating outside, enough parking and good location.

The hotel was very noisy during the majority of our stay. For some reason premier put rooms above their restaurant/bar with outside tables right below our window. Sunday evening was the only quiet night. We had children running a long the halls late at night and the early in the morning. The room was clean and the facilities fine but not sure if we would return given the hotels poor design.

Just back from staying here with my granddaughter, sister and nephew, the staff on reception we're friendly and helpful, one of our rooms was ready, so we were able to check in early. The rooms are basic but comfortable. It is in a good location to get to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and into London.

Great little hotel. Well sited. Staff were great and the room was fantastic. Not much space left with a family of 4, but enough. The restaurant on site was nice with a good selection and breakfast was great!

Family of 4 arrived in the afternoon to visit family, staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. The room was bog standard, all the beds were squashed together and we couldn’t do anything about it. One of the beds was squashed right up against the wall with no headboard. Breakfast on one of the nights was ok, cooked breakfast and warm orange juice. One of our last days breakfast was awful, there was only 2 staff running the restaurant. No cups, plates, not a lot of food left. Overall, not the best premier Inn I've stayed in, half decent for a short family stay. I would recommend staying at other premier inn's within the area!

I have to say, this hotel is perfect for Warner Brothers tour. £9 in an Uber. The hotel is clean & the staff are only too happy to help. The bar next to the hotel, Brewers Fair is exceptional & their staff are also worth a mention. Thank you for a brilliant weekend.

Very good breakfast. New clean and comfortable hotel. We were in two rooms for 3. Comfortable beds. Very well. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful.

Could of used a microwave in the room as I'm a welding student and eating out every night gets expensive. A select members of staff are brilliant. A few not so Much.

Friendly staff, decent room — nothing I wouldn't expect from a Premier Inn. Some rather annoying and very loud exhausts in the morning but not a lot the hotel can do about the commuters driving by. The food from the Brewers Fayre was passable but somewhat overcooked. It's very popular, so maybe we were just unlucky. Comfy beds — most definitely.

It was alright. Clean and quiet. Staff we're friendly and food very good. Service in restaurant on week day night was quick and efficient but weekend night was so slow. Not enough staff and way to many customers. Staff very apologetic and completely not to blame. As usual management trying to save money but the ones that suffer are the very people their trying to entice in in the first place.

Great location, central to city centre, Watford junction & not far from Harry potter experience. Newly refurbished. Would definitely recommend.

Good to see USB sockets by bed… Room is comfortable and staff friendly. If using car park, make sure you advise the reception desk of your car number plate. Brewers Fayre restaurant attached to property. Harvester Restaurant less than a mile away.

The postcode for this hotel was incorrect and after a long trip we were wandering around for an hour trying to find the place. Restaurant not good either.

We stayed here for a wedding. The reception was under renovation. However, the room we got was decent size and very clean. There's also a pub next to it. The breakfast was decent too.

Rooms were modern with plenty of power outlets and even USB slots by the beds to charge phones. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. Staying on the 3rd floor, there was construction on the ground floor which I could not hear so the room was very quiet.

Bracingly good A clean and tidy budget hotel. We had a continual fight with the thermostat to raise the room temperature from a bracing 16 degrees to a more habitable 21 degrees. Curiously one picture in our room was hung upside down. Being securely fixed to the wall meant that we were unable to fix the problem. Once the water was run for a few minutes it was hot. Breakfast was excellent ;a good selection of full English and continental — even crumpets were on offer.

Breakfast hot plates had only a few items of cooked food an hour before breakfast ended and ended up having the continental option because of the long wait. Other than that, all was expected. Took our children for a nice stroll along the nearby canal after breakfast which was nice in summertime.

The hotel had some good and bad points. The staff were welcoming, especially at breakfast. There was ample parking and the bed was very comfortable. Check out was at 12, which was also nice. On the downside the bedroom and bathroom was old and grubby with stains on the floor but I understand the hotel is being refurbished so I imagine I got an old room. We were not provided with much toilet paper and we ran out of it. The cot bed mattress was extremely hard for my daughter and we had to use towels to soften it. Overall there was room for improvement.

Sort of what you would expect for money. Top marks for helpful reception, bar and breakfast serving staff. My room noisy overlooking a busy road so ask for one away from traffic.

Everything was perfect until we were woken up on both days of our stay at half 8 by a full blown construction site below us. Hammering was echoing around our room for the last couple of hours and despite informing the reception about the noise nothing has changed. No one should have been put in this room/on this floor I don't think it's unacceptable to want to sleep past half 8 on your holiday! Usually a big fan of the premier Inn chain but I would not recommend this location to ANYONE as you won't have a say over when you wake up and trying to relax in your room will be unbearable. Will not be staying here again.

Very good quiet rooms, good friendly reception staff. Very easily accessible to nearby locations such as Warner Brothers Harry Potter.

Average hotel room. Bed is comfy, with decent bathroom facilities and desk to work at. Thermostat in room does not work, and is too warm.

We stayed here during our visit to the Harry Potter Studio tour — it's really convenient (only 15 mins away) and were really happy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was exactly what we had asked for, it was clean (spotless in fact) and very clean an tidy. We opted for the breakfast the following morning at the next door Brewers fayre and again it was great value for money and the staff were helpful. I cannot fault for the money we paid and would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms but not convenient for public transports. 15 to 20 minutes walk to Watford underground or croxley station. 40 minutes walk to Watford junction. Rooms are clean. Morrison's nearby. Breakfast and meals need to booked in advance. Helpful staff.

Lost my wedding ring while I stopped there and thought it would be never seen again. They thoroughly searched the room, duly found it and sent on. Nice to know there are still honest people in the world.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable. I cannot fault the friendliness of the staff during our stay. I would recommend This hotel is a great base for the Harry Potter studio tour and a 20 minute walk to Croxley underground station. The only downside was the cleanliness in the lounge and bar area this morning. The restaurant was spotless but the lounge still had crisps on the floor from last night, and the gent's we're in an awful state. That said, it may have been a one off and I would not let that deter me from staying here again.

Fabulous staff, very welcoming and helpful, good size room, lovely and clean and comfortable, and plenty of parking, Lovely relaxing stay. And only 15 mins drive from the Harry Potter studios.

Room was lovely and clean, annoying that there's no plug sockets closer to the bed but oh well. Floors a little creaky but I can deal with that. Shower was lovely and powerful too! Very large towels aswell. Food was great and cheap too and the refill option for drinks is ace. Would definitely stay again!

Sockets in the room were dangerous they were loose on the wall! Wouldn't work properly. The noise all night was horrendous! The room above us were so noisy and the floor boards were loud. The night before running a marathon and no sleep.

Not happy, only double plug in room broken and wasn't fixed to wall safely. Very noisy floor boards above us, woke us up at 5.30 am, noise travels loudly from above. Not what my partner needed before the London Marathon today, less than 4 hours sleep.

As always the premier Inn gives the service of a great hotel. Comfy beds great food.

Receptionist was lovely, she was waiting to check us in and she was so helpful and friendly. Rooms were ready for us on arrival, cannot fault this hotel or other Premier Inn Hotels we have stayed at.

Stayed overnight after spending the day in London. Easy to get to and a quiet nights sleep.

Reception was helpful when requested a room on a higher floor. Room was clean and tidy.

Wifi didnt work. Rooms are ok but the TV is really small.

Arrived to check in at 2pm as stated by premier inn. Arrived at 3pm to be told there was no double rooms ready for us. Didnt think it would take long but waited half an hour, the gentleman who was helping us had finished his shift. Walked back up to reception new member of staff on. Said we was still waiting, within minutes she had found us a room. Was. Not happy that we qaited half hour even though should of been ready. Was a pleasant stay in the end but was disappointed that staff did not pass our information on.

I have eaten here many times. Good traditional food, friendly staff and superb location.
