Great experience, accommodated a group of 13 at short notice on a busy day for food and drinks, great service, great food, will definitely be back!

Awesome stay. Comfortable bed and lovely room. Owner and staff are really friendly and accommodating. Waitress was very sweet and couldn't do enough to help. Would definitely come back. Thanks everyone for helping to make my weekend so fab xx.

I have stayed here three times and hope to do so again.
Comfortable, spotless rooms, fabulous food with brilliant veggie choices, good choice of drinks, friendly courteous staff, quiet village, and a great place to be based for a visit to mid-Wales.
Cannot recommend it too highly.

Best local pub,, for sports and company,, actually the best company ever,, micky warren stats and the exeptional talent of Wyn to keep everyone entertained,, Roland and Elen are the best landlords ever,, will deffo be back.

What a great place to stay. The staff and locals are so welcoming.
Wyn and Rhodri certainly kept us entertained throughout the evening. What great company. We only stayed for one night but will certainly be returning. A brilliant place to stay if you are a biker exploring this beautiful area.

Lovely pub good food clean rooms freindly staff, been few times now going back in two weeks Price is good and you can take well behaved dogs which is a plus for me.

Warm welcome at this village pub. Very nice bedroom. Much more than we expected for the price. Would recommend it.

Ran out of driving hours in the Lorry. Parked up in the village went for a walk found the red lion pub… Cracking food and company… and not to expensive.

We stayed two years ago while cycle touring and returned again this year. We had a great evening meal, comfy beds in a clean room and had a brief stroll by the river which was very peaceful. (Saw a kingfisher first year, lots of bats overhead at sunset this time. ) Breakfast was very filling and set us up nicely for the day. Staff were very helpful and let us store our tandem under cover on both our stays.

Highly recommend, Great ales, food I highly recommend the mixed grill you won't be disappointed, accommodation was spot on made very welcome by owners and the locals and its very dog friendly we eat tea and breakfast with our dog deffo be back.

Quaint rooms and friendly staff, a bit of a local pub for local people…

Booked a single room here for 2 nights, but due to unforeseen circumstances had to cut it short to 1.
Staff on arrival were great and very friendly, the room was spotless a real credit to the owner and staff looking after it.
I had a lovely meal and being a Saturday night the bar was full and the locals great.
I am looking forward to visiting again soon to complete my tour of the area.
