Really lovely. Huge room. Lovely bed. Very quiet. Good location. Spotlessly clean.

No air conditioning in the rooms. Vedning machine out of order all week. Waiter in restaurant wanted to fight us because he thought we were laughing at him when we were just 6 guys on a work training course having a good time but put this down to him just having a bad day. Food was appalling though. We only are there the first night of 4.

A lovely place but has no Air Con which made my stay feel like I was sleeping in an oven … the reception has Air Con but the staff can't use it as we Guests complain but I wouldn't have.

In room 43 and some drunk Scottish bloke wondered into my room, as he was allocated the same room. The staff did not give a s*** with no apology given.

Very nice place to stay close to the ice rink and cinema, bowlplex and swimming pool plenty of parking.

Use premier inns a lot, always good reasonably priced and Good restaurant adjacent,

Accommodation was brilliant, and spotless. No complaints there. Breakfast at Spruce Goose was very disappointing! The restaurant was chaotic, very grubby and tables were sticky. The layout of cereal bar was very messy and dirty. The hot food section well… no plates! Asked for eggs that took half hour to come, by then other items from breakfast menu were barely existant what was there was cold. We were table of 5, and met other people there who were equally unhappy. We complained to young lady on reception who arranged a refund of the breakfast cost. Which I am happy to say we have already received, thankyou. Spruce Goose needs to tidy up their act and change the layout to be more efficient. What staff were there were trying their best, but need more help. Overnight stay ruined because of breakfast disaster!

Rooms far too hot to sleep with only heating not cool air con. Breakfast next door was poorly manned and although half full, both hot and cold food plus crockery kept running out. A disappointment although the hotel is very clean and the pub/restaurant pleasant, the basics were missing.

Excellent room for the price. Tiny bathroom but a spacious room and free Wi-Fi — everything I needed for an overnight stop.

Hotel was good, Beefeater restaurant could have been better. Hot breakfast wasn't out 'till 6:50. Once out was up to the usual standard for Premier Inn.

Lack of a lift is a pain when you have a heavy bag but the room is worth the walk! Hypnos beds, comfy sofa, full length mirror, large Tv on the wall (compared to the matchbox you normally get). The staff and friendly and they clearly take pride in presentation because it was so warm and clean.

Typical Premier Inn although not that it's a bad thing. Clean modern rooms with friendly helpful staff and plenty of parking. Pleasant stress free stay, would recommend to others.

Lovely hotel, room was a good size and nice and quiet. The shower was great, plenty of power and actually had a good range of temperatures (unlike other hotel showers! ). Bed was comfortable. We prebooked the meal deal, which was definitely worth it. All in all, a great stay.

Location is great if you are wanting things to do of an evening. It is quiet and what you exit of a premier Inn. The food was great, and the meal deal offered is excellent value.

Location good, rooms clean, bed amazing, only negative it was a bit noisy which was down to the doors i. E. Need fixing so they close quietly.

Very comfortable bed. Nice room. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast at adjacent beefeater too sweet. No cheese etc so a bit disappointing compared to real continental breakfasts.

Really enjoyed staying. Good food. Helpful staff when I turned up and my reservation hadn't been sorted.

It's a Premier Inn what do you expect. This is one of those with the tiny heater in the corner and no A/C (which wasn't a problem in November. ) New Smart 40" TV. It does have a Beefeater attached to it.

Terrible bed. Incredibly uncomfortable and creaky. Worst nights sleep I've had in a Premier Inn.

Very nice hotel. Comfy beds and nice food. Only downside was the noise of people chatting on the hallways.

Hotel adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant in need of makeover and brightening up would not eat there.

First room the tap broke, so we were moved rooms, 2nd room didn't have air con that worked, ran out of loo roll and the breakfast was a shambles! Other than that your standard premier inn experience!

Overall a good premier inn. No aircon but that is advertised at booking. Lovely room and reception staff were lovely. Just order drinks and food early in the beefeater.

As usual the room was excellent. What made it better was upon arrival we were able to request a cot be put up and a booking reservation in the restaurant both of which were done within 10mins after arrival along with this they didn't delay us checking in, that was still relatively quick.

Quick check in. Everything ready. Smart rooms. Can't fault it.

Standard Premier Inn hotel. Rooms as expected. Restaurant attached is good. Check in receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, comfy bed. Standard room you expect. Nice touch was the HDMI wall port for TV input and usb charging sockets next to the bed. Beefeater restua and bar next door for premier Inn meals was very nice, good food. Very good value on the premier Inn meal deal.

Excellent, lovely rooms as per normal with a premier inn and great staff who went bout o their way. When finding out it was our daughters birthday they delivered a card an present totally unexpectedly which I thought was such a lovely gesture an my daughter loved.

Exactly what you would expect. Comfortable bed. Decent room. No significant facilities, but you aren't paying for any. Just a shame that the Beefeater next door isn't better.

Very clean and tidy. Room comfy and quite. HOWEVER they do not have airconditioning and on my second visit the room is 29 degrees with fan and window open. Walking distance to lots of entertainment and restaurants swimming cinemas clubs shops etc.

Really friendly staff and the room was lovely. Breakfast I had a the beefeater was great too! X.

What you expect for a premier inn for the room but there was building work going on so could not access rooms from reception and it was raining quite heavy so had to walk to reception then walk back out along the half the length of the hotel to get to my room.

Love this premiere inn, stay at least once a month for little weekend breaks as a couple and with kids. Lovely friendly staff! Lots to do on the complex. The top floor of the hotel is clean and airy, bottom a bit tired but just needs a little spruce xx.

Room clean. Not much noise from outside considering location. Unfortunately had lots of inconsiderate guests shouting and banging doors til the early hours!

The rooms were perfectly adequate and the beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal in terms of access although there are a lot of leisure facilities in and around the hotel so be aware of the possibility of late noise. The staff were excellent and overall I was very happy with my stay.

Good hotel in a good area and not as noisy as I thought it might be. In fact if the room window is closed there is very little external noise and very little from inside the hotel. Typical Premier Inn with regards to the shower though (poor). It leaked everywhere and had weak water pressure but this site is not alone with that issue. Overall a good price and good stay.

Room was okay… Got swindled into buying 'premium' Wi-Fi as I was told there was not fancy free Wi-Fi available… Turns out the basic Wi-Fi was always free.

It a 3 star hotel. As seen on TV the bed was not comfortable I can feel the spring. Pillow were OK. Toilet exhaust was very noisy.

Comfy enough. Handy for the office.

Older hotel in need of a refurb! Beds are always great though.

Nice and clean no frills hotel that is close to the city centre and leisure park. The staff here is very friendly and they do everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was spacious enough for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenage girls), spotlessly clean and the beds where fantastic. We all slept very well! The breakfast is all-you-can-eat and served in between 7-11 am (Sunday), which really gives you enough time for a nice lie-in. They ran out of fried eggs which were refilled quickly (we even were offered poached eggs which just came out of the kitchen, in case we didn't want to wait for 5 minutes) but the scrambled eggs, which must have been sitting on the buffet for quite a while, looked rather tired and were pretty dry. Apart from that all was fine and very tasty. Would definitely go back.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Any beyond. Check in was simple; staff were welcoming and friendly; room was clean, comfy and spacious and the beds were sumptious. We unfortunately left a well loved teddy behind but not only did the staff send him home, he came with a diary about the day he had spent helping the staff in various departments! We stayed as a family of 4 in a family room.

Decided to stay here on 26th April 2014 for one night because of contracting work away from home. The room was modern clean and comfortable and we definately had a good night's sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay here the staff were exta helpful and always cheerful we would recommend them to anyone.

Me &my family stayed here last weekend and it was fantastic! The staff were all happy and did everything to help you, to the point of letting us follow one of the receptionist to the wedding ceremony we were attending. The room were all clean, comfortable and tidy. The restaurant next door does the most amazing breakfasts and yet again all of the staff were happy and made sure u were attended to. I would recommend this as a place to stay if in basingstoke. Thank you to everyone who served us there and made our weekend run smoothly.

We are a family of four sharing one family room, yet it was spacious and comfortable with a kettle that hav a wide variety of tea /coffee with several types of sugar. The people on the night shift were also helpful, bringing us more teabags and more pillows when we asked and the room was clean. And in the morning there was an all you can eat breakfast where the kids ate free and there was an array of muffins/cereals/ hot drinks etc as well as the fry up, which was freshly cooked to order and was very nice. 100% satisfaction from my visit.
