Its a Wetherspoons pub with Hotel on top. Quite a large pub. Very basic standard pub food. Food is hot and prices are very reasonable. Great location in the centre of town with access to the pedestrian only section. Nothing flashy about it but does what its set out to do very well.

Very clean, good staff, especially the lady on hotel reception. Room great. Sad that me, (mum) and my 13 year old daughter were there after the England win. So many drunken antics! Great food, as far spoons go. Certainly recommend.

Friendly staff very nice place. Breakfast could have been a bit warmer Spoilt the meal for 4 of us otherwise staff was Good.

Booked in to the hotel. Reception very helpful. Room great … most of the bar staff very slow. Too busy chatting as they're going along …

Frequented this pub ever since it first opened, its a great place for all ages to meet, and the recent refurb, especially the smell of new carpet is great. My one reservation is the rooftop area, the timber cladded walls are too high to be able to see the sights, otherwise brill.

It's ok. Good prices, it's just a Wetherspoons, if you want fancy then don't go, if you want to get drunk on the cheap then do. At least you know where you are with a Wetherspoons. No frills, terrible poached eggs but excellent chocolate fudge brownie.

Not bad for a Wetherspoons. Door staff do a great job, Ben that works there is such a nice bloke.

Food was lovely good portion size. The only thing I can say is the chocolate ice cream sundae didn't have any chocolate ice-cream in it just vanilla. I'm not complaining just an observation however it did go down a treat :-)

Recently refurbished and now bigger and better than ever. Grab a drink, grab your mates and settle in for a relaxed time. I recommend checking out the app too, very handy when it's busy.

Good value food, great selection of draught and bottled beers. Bar staff very attentive with good humour.

Extremely grossed out. Never go here, absolutely disgusting. Plenty of chavs working here who have no clue as to what the word clean means. First of the table was extremely sticky and greasy, the menus were too gross to touch. Apparently this place went under a refurbishment, but still looks worse as it ever did. The knives and forks were so dirty I had to eat with my hands, I must of picked up more than 10 different sets of knives and forks to find that each one I looked at was filthy. The knives in the photos were apparently “clean”. Never go here under any circumstances.

The pub has been refurbished to a very high standard. Service greatly improved. Very helpful and friendly staff. Come in large numbers you will enjoy your visit.
